The notes say peach, praline, and tonka bean, but there’s more. It’s a delicious fragrance! It smells like coconut, pineapple, woods, and resins, but mostly incense. At first, it’s strong, maybe a bit rough due to the sweetness, but a few minutes later the magic starts: soft notes leading to a delicious incense that lingers, unfortunately, only a few inches from the skin. I don’t care; it’s so delicious and cheap that I can afford to use it whenever I want. They say in English it reminds people of Mugler’s Angel, but I have nothing to do with that (on my skin, it smells like cut grass). With Blue Candy… that’s it! Incense candies. I love it.
I found it on a YouTube video talking about an incense scent and rushed to get it, sure I’d love it. I snagged the last stock since it’s discontinued, which is a shame because I adore it. Top notes are fruity, then woods and tonka bean; sometimes it smells like incense, but on my skin it leans more toward wood. It’s sweet and deep. The only downside, like with all Zara scents, is longevity: maybe three or four hours if you’re lucky, and the sillage is very poor.
This is my favorite perfume: sweet, feminine, and with a mysterious touch. While some might find it masculine, for me it’s the opposite; it smells like watermelon and melon dipped in chocolate and caramel. Now it’s hard to find at Zara; it was available here in Mexico for a while, but I can’t locate it anymore.
Would I buy it again? I grabbed it in California on sale and hooked immediately: fresh and sweet, though the dry-down left me a bit speechless with that synthetic caramel note that didn’t quite resolve. Still, it flattered me quite a bit. I’ve read it smells like Angel when fresh and Black Orchid in the dry-down, but I can’t confirm that 100%.
