  I bought it blind because of the price: $23 for 3.4 oz. In three words: pepper, pure pepper. I was a bit disappointed; based on the name, I thought it would be a pepper bomb, but it’s not. The opening is the best: an explosion of black and rose peppers with a touch of patchouli that gets lost due to the spiciness. Then it disappears completely, has no trail, and doesn’t last at all. I liked the idea, but it was missing something. It’s for marinating meats, haha. Sorry Marc Jacobs, your women’s perfumes are better.

  Marc Jacobs Bang!! I bought it blindly because I couldn’t resist the price: $23 for a 3.4 oz bottle. In three words: PEPPER, PURE PEPPER. I was a bit disappointed; based on the name, I thought it would be a pepper bomb, but it’s not. The opening is the best part and the only redeeming quality (aside from the bottle and campaign): an explosion of black and pink peppers, with a hint of patchouli that gets lost in the heat. After that five-minute burst, the scent disappears completely. No sillage and zero longevity. I liked the pepper concept, but something was missing. In short, it’s a perfume for marinating meat, haha, PURE PEPPER, PURE PEPPER. Sorry, Marc Jacobs, your game is women’s fragrances.

  I agree with Cookiechuy. The dry-down drastically changes the excess black pepper of the opening into a soft, bland scent, barely fresh and easy to wear. If you’re looking for something better based on pepper, try Lalique White.

  Didn’t convince me; I prefer Bang Bang. This one smells boring, more for older people. I don’t think it’s pure pepper like they say, because I like perfumes with pepper; I think it’s the vetiver giving it that strong adult touch.

  I love almost all of Marc Jacobs’ fragrances since they launched, and I keep buying them because I never get tired of them. With Bang, the first time I smelled it, I didn’t like the pepper note, but once it dried down, I loved it, and it’s super soft. It profiles beautifully on skin and clothes in a rich way. I’ve been wearing it for years and still think it’s amazing.

  I bought both at a good price: M.J. Bang and BanG BANG. The scent from the silver bottle was the first thing that came to mind: it’s a Terre d’Hermès of wood and pepper, really interesting and rich. It even lasts longer on the skin than the blue Bang Bang bottle. Great purchase. There may be many pro or con comments, but following them 100% would be naive. The important thing is to try it; you’ll find a great surprise.

  There are plenty of hymns to pepper, and Bang is one of them. That doesn’t mean it’s for everyone or a must-have. It’s a men’s fragrance with a pepper tone, where rose adds an acidic citrus heart over resins and fresh woods, but in a ‘light’ tone and density. A fresh, friendly vetiver surrounds this low-complexity but highly beautiful composition. It’s for the fullness of adulthood, but very portable for younger people. Works in any setting, versatile, and handles all four seasons without issues. Nothing like Terre d’Hermès. Its linear structure emphasizes the pepper, but it has an ozonic air that creates harmonious masculine auras that are clean and vibrant. Is it worth it? Yes. If you like complexity, there’s little here. Sometimes less is more, and Bang delivers on that. Nothing like Terre d’Hermès or Azzaro Visit Men’s.

It’s a simple yet beautiful composition in my opinion. It’s perfect for full adulthood but very wearable for younger people too. It works anywhere and is versatile enough for all four seasons. Note: nothing to do with Terre d’Hermès. Its linear structure puts pepper front and center, but it has an ozonic air that creates harmonious, crisp, and well-balanced auras. Is it worth it? Yes. If you’re looking for complexity, there’s little here. Sometimes less is more, and Bang delivers. It also has nothing to do with Terre d’Hermès or Azzaro’s Visit Menos.

  The metal bottle, which ended up dented like it took a brutal hit, is super eye-catching. Bang is a fragrance that feels like a moment of genius or something crazy you might not click with. I’ve tried many scents and heard people say they don’t smell bad, but here the scent is simple and unimaginative; it leaves you cold and you probably won’t consider buying it. A fragrance without a unique twist can forget its goal of being good. Whether you like it or not is another story to convince yourself to open your wallet. The opening is pure, hard-hitting pepper. After about 20 minutes, it softens and gives way to bright cedarwood, which blends really well with vetiver. An incense-like vibe with green and earthy nuances from patchouli and moss rounds out the perfume in this phase. It’s a great way to achieve simple elegance. Definitely, BANG has that individual quality a fragrance needs to be called that, revealing itself as modern and unusual but perfect for daily wear with satisfying performance. Resale prices seem absurd to me; if you find it between 60 and 70 euros, it could be a good buy; otherwise, you can find something with a similar vibe in the Comme des garçons line (just add a few sprays of Azzaro Visit).

  This perfume needs patience. At first, it smells loud and annoying, but then it evolves into something warm and spicy that’s very wearable. Right after spraying, you get notes of balm and musk that smell like you’re rubbing a banana peel on your skin 😂😂😂, and later it resembles Afnan 9pm—sweet and spicy. I think it works better in cool or fresh places, though I don’t think it would bother you in the heat. The performance is top-notch: lasts hours on the skin with a trail of almost two meters. I see it as ideal for older folks, but it’s easy to wear. 💯% recommended 🕉️🕉️🕉️

  This scent needs time to develop; at first, it smells sharp and a bit annoying, but then it transforms into a warm, spicy fragrance that’s very pleasant. In the opening, you get notes of balsam and musk that give the impression of smelling a banana peel 🤣🤣🤣. Later, it reminds me a bit of Afnan 9pm—sweet and spicy. I think it’s better suited for cool or fresh places, though I don’t think it would be off-putting in warm climates. It has excellent longevity, lasting several hours on the skin with a trail of almost two meters. I see it as perfect for older people, even though it’s easy to wear. 100% recommended 🕉️🕉️🕉️
