A Night Fragrance by Zara is an oriental woody fragrance created for men and women. This new scent, launched in 2025, was composed by Jérôme Epinette. Its olfactory structure unfolds with top notes of clove and black pepper; a heart of cashmere wood and thyme; and a warm base of amber and cedar.

Extraordinary fragrance. It’ll be a treasure when they discontinue it, and we’ll cry over the discontinued colognes because Zara rarely restocks. Perfect for winter, but I wear it at night in summer too. It evolves beautifully. Pity it doesn’t last as long, but the quality-to-price ratio is unbeatable.
Grab it while it’s available because it’s a blast. Smells like another era—Yatagan from the 80s but updated. Opens with pepper and clove, then blends into woods and a sweet amber that’s not quite there yet. A unique experience. 50 ml for 18 euros is a steal; totally worth it.
Not bad, but feels half-baked. The pepper doesn’t explode like in Bentley Absolute, the thyme green note never arrives, and the amber stays dry instead of turning sweet. It’s all stuck in the middle. In the end, the cedar and pepper save it. Bottom line: if I’d tested it first, I wouldn’t have bought it, but I’m not regretting it either. Just feels half-baked; I expected more.
Smells like old church incense—dense and spicy. Not for everyone. It’s very similar to my old Gucci Pour Homme 2003; the original lasts forever, while this Zara one barely hangs around for half an hour. If you love dark cedar and incense scents, it’s worth it for the price.
