Dot is super optimistic, clearly Honey’s sibling with that same DNA. It feels like an upgraded version of Oh Lola! A fruity scent with aquatic touches, like watermelon, probably thanks to the dragon fruit and red berries. Soft and perfect for spring and summer. The red berries taste like a sweet, juicy punch, and with the dragon fruit, it becomes an appetizing cocktail. Reminds me of a grenadine and mango cocktail, but without the alcoholic bite. The bottle design changed a bit; the cap isn’t as large or winged anymore, but it looks amazing on the shelf with its signature ladybug red stopper.
I only noticed flowers. I’m a fan of sweet gourmands, but I have some fruity ones for hot days. I bought it blind and I’m greatly disappointed: it doesn’t smell bad, but on my skin I only perceived flowers. The worst part is that the cute bottle changed and now it just has a little cat face cap. I’ll try it in intense heat to see if I like it a bit more.

Dot is cheerful, coquettish, and feminine, perfect for those who enjoy playful fragrances with a tropical vibe. The opening is sparkling and fun: red berries give a juicy sweet fruitiness, dragon fruit adds an exotic touch, and honeysuckle highlights the fresh floral side. In the heart, it becomes creamier and more sensual thanks to the coconut, which blends with jasmine and orange blossom to create a luminous summer bouquet. The base is soft and warm: sweet vanilla, musk, and driftwood for a clean, slightly woody finish. It’s fun, fresh, feminine, and tropical. Ideal for spring and summer, for everyday wear or a casual night out where you want something cheerful and charming.
On my skin, it smells like apple with a little coconut, and I don’t like that ☹️. I thought apple would be the main note based on the descriptions, but it’s not. I love the bottle, which is why I keep it; it looks very pretty, but that apple juice scent is just not for me.
It’s a fruity, floral, and musky EDT, like a soft eau de cologne. It doesn’t last at all, too soft, almost like a cologne. But it’s youthful and very nice.
As a perfume, it’s a beautiful ornament. Fruity, soft, common, and youthful (too much).
Marc Jacobs Dot feels very fresh to me, a semi-aquatic apple vibe, similar to DKNY Be Delicious (but with a very subtle marine note of calone that I can perceive). I dare to say it distorts the composition (I tested it on blotter paper); maybe it performs differently on skin. Out of all the fragrances in the collection, this is the one I like the least.
To be as honest as possible: this perfume smells like Avon’s Exotic Water. Nothing more, nothing less… To me, it smells like huapinol, that fruit found in Honduras. But it’s identical to the Avon one. It doesn’t last at all, it’s designer, and it doesn’t project; pure sillage failure.
I bought it basically for the bottle. I thought something so beautiful and elaborate couldn’t have anything unpleasant. In reality, it’s absolutely innocuous. On me, the wood note stands out, coconut is weak, and at the end, there’s a wilted jasmine. It lasts about 2 hours on my skin and the trail is almost non-existent. A bottle like this should contain a complex, rich, and potent perfume, but it doesn’t. It contains a very faint after-bath. It’s for a morning when you want to go unnoticed. I think I have better-performing department store colognes and more elaborate fragrances. For me, it’s just a nice table ornament.
A fresh perfume; beyond being linear, its scent is enjoyable, sparkling, and rich. For all ages? Yes, but not for all occasions. For mature women, perhaps after a shower on hot days when they need to feel fresh and smell good. For young girls, it adapts to any occasion, very versatile day or night. Formal? No, it’s not a formal perfume. On my skin, it lasts moderately, needing a touch-up in about 5 hours, but its trail is so pleasant that it allows you to enjoy it and lets others enjoy it too.

Without a doubt, the first thing that strikes you is the bottle—you’d want to buy it just for decoration. The fragrance is sparkling, fruity, and fresh. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last long on my skin, but the aroma is very pleasant.
I love its scent and, of course, its gorgeous packaging, but I think it’s too expensive for how synthetic it smells. That doesn’t mean it’s bad or that I hate it, not at all! But I also don’t think it’s worth the price. It’s a quite pleasant fruity aroma; sometimes it reminds me of a much sweeter, coquettish, and sexy sister to Cacharel’s Amor Amor. Its longevity on my skin is surprising: it’s still perceptible after my shower! I recommend it, though I admit it is a bit synthetic, and therefore its price is high for what it is.
Super youthful and fresh perfume. On my skin, it has acceptable longevity. I love the inventiveness of its packaging, like all of Marc Jacobs’ bottles. It seems strange, but I can detect a melon trail that I adore. It shines in warm seasons; I’d even dare to say it’s suitable for summer nights.

I’ll admit, I bought it for the gorgeous bottle, not the scent. DOT is very simple, pretty on its own, youthful, and more fruity than floral. It smells like red berries with dragon fruit (a cactus) and a tart touch, with shy jasmine and orange blossoms that quickly fade before the intense red berry scent takes over, with a hint of wood in the background. I don’t notice anything else. It fits a young girl perfectly; it’s fresh and that tartness adds a refreshing edge. The trail and longevity are moderate to low. The good thing is that it’s very versatile.
I admit I bought it for the beauty of the bottle, not for the fragrance. I have little to say about DOT because it’s a very simple, nice perfume on its own, youthful, and more fruity than floral. It smells of red berries with dragon fruit, a cactus fruit, with a slight acidic touch, accompanied by very timid jasmine and orange blossoms that are quickly overshadowed by the intense red berry scent, and very faintly, something of wood is felt at the base. I don’t perceive any other notes. It would fit very well on a young girl; it’s fresh, and the acidity of the berries gives it that freshness. Sillage and longevity range from moderate to low. A plus is that I consider it very versatile.
The bottle is gorgeous, but the scent isn’t anything out of this world; it smells nice but isn’t anything special. The sad part is that it doesn’t last at all; maybe it’s my skin, but at least the two Marc Jacobs perfumes I own (Dot and Honey) don’t last on me either. Beautiful bottles, poor fragrances.

Even though the bottle is gorgeous, the fragrance doesn’t quite convince me due to its poor longevity. It happens with all Marc Jacobs scents: they’re delicious at first, but they fade very quickly on my skin.
In the top notes, it smells quite a bit like Escada’s Born in Paradise (that watermelon and coconut blend). It has little sillage despite being an eau de parfum and lasts only about 4 hours on my skin.
Super soapy, fresh, and fruity. When I smell it, I feel like I’m walking into an ultra-clean place (I don’t know why, lol). I love everything about it. For me, it gets a 10.
