Pleasant and sweet, where cinnamon takes charge throughout the entire evolution. At first, there are faint hints of Azzaro Pour Homme. Once it dries down, if you get close, you can feel its DNA beneath the sweet cinnamon. It doesn’t project much and fades quickly to skin-level wear. Its sweetness reminds me of Armani Privé, though it’s less sweet. In my country, the price is outrageous: 220€ for 100ml, but it remains a very pleasant fragrance.
I was confused. It’s not an aromatic fougère as the website claims, but rather an oriental woody scent. The first impression was, ‘Is this Bentley Intense?’ due to that heavy cinnamon-laced opening. The dry-down is good; it becomes sweet thanks to the tonka bean and amber, resembling Carolina Herrera Chérie or Dior Homme with its soft base. It fulfills its purpose, isn’t expensive, and has acceptable performance. It resembles many others, but it has its own charm; it’s not very sophisticated, but it smells great. Scent 8, Longevity 7, Projection 6, Sillage 6, Value 10.
Absolutely delicious.
Delicious
The pyramid doesn’t convince me much. This flanker clearly carries the original’s DNA with that vintage lavender and leather. It accompanies the alcohol, a hint of cinnamon, and sweet notes for a pleasant tone, though it’s not the best as I expected. The downside is that it doesn’t last long (even though I used few sprays).
Azzaro Pour Homme Intense is woody, ambered, and spiced with fougère notes. It opens with sweet amber and lots of cinnamon, sharing a lavender, tonka, and anise base like the original. After a few minutes, the sweetness recedes but the cinnamon lingers; it’s not excessively warm, landing somewhere between spicy and classic fougère. It reminded me of Burberry London for Men. Perfect for spring and autumn, suitable for formal or casual occasions. I think it ages well, but that’s up to each person. It lasted 10 hours, though after the first hour it stayed close to the skin. I liked this version, and Azzaro offers a fair price.

Maybe it’s a 2020 batch with L’Oréal’s obsession with reformulating, or maybe my skin just can’t handle it, but the performance is weak. What a shame because it smells amazing. To me, it smells like leather, lavender, and cumin, coming across as very masculine and warm. With those notes, I expected more longevity (it lasts about 6 hours) and projection (moderate for an hour, then skin scent). Ideal for fall and for wearing close or enjoying alone. It doesn’t need formality; it goes with almost any outfit. Scent: 9 Longevity: 6 Projection: 4 Versatility: 6
Maybe my 2020 batch is due to L’Oreal’s reformulations or my skin chemistry, but the performance is weak. It’s a shame because it smells great. On me, it reads as leather, lavender, and cumin; it’s masculine and warm. I expected more longevity (it lasts about 6 hours) and projection (1 hour close to the skin). Ideal for fall and personal wear. No need for formality; goes with everything. Scent: 9, Longevity: 6, Projection: 4, Versatility: 6.
The best vintage I’ve ever tried. It lasts long on my skin, though it doesn’t project as much as I’d like. Along with The Most Wanted, these are the designer’s best.
Mature elegance: starts with a refined, spicy cinnamon hit that’s far from culinary. Dry vetiver adds structure and contrast. It evolves into a powdery touch that softens into something intimate, keeping that subtle, elegant cinnamon. In the dry down, tonka bean and amber create a sophisticated, warm sweetness. Best for special occasions; more sober than youthful. My rating: 8/10, because cinnamon isn’t my strong suit, but here it’s well-executed.
