  • This citrus, which the olfactory pyramid swears is sour apple, kills me. It smells bad to me from start to finish and hurts my nose like bleach. It must be a note I can’t tolerate. I’m sorry, I can’t handle it.

  • Something unexpected happened today: it’s the third time I’ve worn it and it seemed to smell bad, but I got full of compliments. It all points to my nose not being up for this perfume today; it really doesn’t smell the same as other times.

  • ManiacoFragantico25

The scent smells a bit synthetic; sometimes it feels like those big rolls of plastic. Maybe the sour apple is to blame along with other ingredients; it’s an intrusive odor that can even make you dizzy. I hope I finish it soon so I can switch to something more pleasant. I give it 5/10.

  • Following the Anglo-Saxon rating system: Scent 6/10, Sillage 9/10, Longevity 6/10 (about 6 hours). Final average 7/10.

Good fragrance for hot weather, I used it in summer here in Santiago de Chile and it smelled very well… it has a huge, fresh, citrus opening, with the bitter orange and apple very marked and original. Tea and vetiver give a soft and interesting woody mix as minutes pass, and of course a somewhat synthetic note like plastic appears, as Maniac Fragrance notes, but it still pleases. Important trail for about four to five hours, then closer to the skin and on clothes.

Having a bit more experience with this fragrance, I must say something curious: when I’m already in the shower after taking off the scent of this fragrance, it reminds me of the Azzaro Pour Homme aroma, it reminds me absolutely of the classic Azzaro already mentioned. Maybe others have noticed the same thing, because for me it happens every time and it’s very evident.

Longevity and sillage are super excellent; I notice it’s a bit synthetic but overall I like it quite a bit and it was a successful blind buy. It lasts forever and is a fragrance for the summer that goes very well. Oh, and by the way, I like it more than the Original Chrome.

The Legend of Chrome. This perfume is a curious variable of Chrome. It smells different from the original but maintains certain notes of the perfume from which it derives. The detail is that it has somewhat of an artificial smell, but that doesn’t necessarily have to be bad. For me, the most attractive thing is its modernist packaging that shows what it is: an advance within modern masculine and woody perfumes. Very good, 4.5/5.

Now that summer is here in southern Texas and northern Mexico, my acquisitions are citrus and fruity trends. Let’s see if the Azzaro legend is urban or alive as some comment. At first, there’s an intense herbal touch, perhaps the tea note is the most predominant. Gradually it softens with that soapy touch, maybe the musk, and in the trail you notice a woody note, presumably cedar. As the opening intensity fades, a metallic touch appears, very common in synthetics, which mixed with the woody notes gives a slight apple vibe, but to be frank, it smells more like plastic, synthetic, and artificial, like opening a new product in plastic packaging. The longevity and trail are a bit more intense than usual, but they don’t compare to its cousins Azzaro Visit and Chrome, which are much more intense, with trail and longevity easily over 5 hours. The bottle has a youthful and elegant style, rating the fragrance as teenage, but it’s compatible for all ages. By its appearance, it’s perceived as an elegant, clean, enveloping, and intoxicating scent. Preferably for summer, day and night, outdoor events, or the office, since it’s not overwhelming. In conclusion, it’s a very common aroma, it doesn’t reach being special; for me, it’s not a Masterpiece, since the name LEGEND feels a bit too big.

  • I got a sample recently, and in my opinion, it has a somewhat classic aroma without being formal or boring. I’d use it on summer vacations; when I smell this, I imagine myself relaxed by the sea enjoying a good holiday. If you’re looking for something fresh that makes you feel clean, don’t hesitate; this fragrance has bottled sea in it. Cheers.

It’s a bomb for summer, like someone grabbing you and dousing you with a firehose full of ice. Only for daytime use if you want to make the most of it. If you want to feel fresh all day and smell great, I highly recommend it. Just don’t overapply, or it becomes aggressive and synthetic.

This perfume is a bomb for summer, like getting hit with a firehose full of ice. Only for daytime use if you want to get the most out of it. If you want to feel fresh all day and well-scented, I recommend it. Watch out: don’t overapply, because it becomes aggressive and synthetic.

I had high expectations; it’s hard to find lasting citrus or fruity colognes, and reviews said it had good longevity, so I bought it. The scent didn’t impress me; it felt like the same artificial line as Perry Ellis 360°, though not the same fragrance—they share a base. This one is a bit more citrusy-bitter, but the synthetic touch takes away the magic. Scent: 5/10, Longevity: 8/10 (over 8 hours), Sillage: 6/10, and value for money: 8/10.

  • I bought it blind and honestly, I expected more. The scent isn’t real and stays stuck in those background notes that are getting old. It shifts between the ‘little apple’, ‘tea’, and ‘bitter orange’, with occasional sweet tonka touches and that omnipresent musk or ambroxan. Still, it came out very cheap, and for hot weather, we’ll use it at home.

  • The scent feels synthetic but is interesting. The opening has a very sour apple along with tea and bitter orange, which I detect the most. It’s linear, and after a few hours, a subtle sweetness emerges from the tonka, giving it a creamy touch. Be careful with sprays because it becomes heavy and more synthetic; two sprays are enough. It projects well for 2-3 hours and has good longevity (6h+) for an EDT. Versatile, accessible, and usable all year (except very formal events), but it suits heat better. It reminds me of Chanel Allure Homme Sport, with lower ingredient quality but better performance. You have to try it before buying; I got the 125ml version at a good price, you can’t ask for more.

  • It smells synthetic but has a strong hook. The opening is a sharp mix of tart apple, tea, and bitter orange, which is the most prominent part. After two hours, tonka adds a subtle, creamy sweetness. Be careful not to overapply; it becomes heavy and more artificial. Two sprays are enough. It projects well for 2-3 hours and lasts over 6, typical for an EDT. It’s versatile, accessible, and works all year (except very formal events), though it suits heat best. Reminds me of Chanel Allure Homme Sport, though with lower-quality ingredients but better performance. Try it before buying; it might not suit you despite being cheap. I got the 125ml at a great price and can’t ask for more.

It’s very synthetic, I won’t deny it, but let’s not deny it’s also very good. If one day you wake up tired and, after showering, apply this perfume because the shower didn’t do its job, this scent will definitely wake you up. It’s a real freshness and energy boost that lasts all day. The apple and bergamot make a well-refreshing explosion.

  • I remember it was the first flanker of ‘Chrome’. It does seem synthetic, though it’s more comfortable than the original, without that metallic vibe that can sometimes be annoying, especially if overapplied. Probably not aquatic, but the notes remind me of sun and pool. Originally I wore it at night, but I liked it more during the day, especially in the afternoon. It has moderate sillage, though it’s potent in the first 3 hours. Be careful not to overapply; even without the metallic note, the synthetic aspect can be bothersome. Good longevity, it reacts with water and stays on the skin even after showering. On the plus side, the affordable price compared to other flankers in the line. You can’t find it in regular stores since they only have the latest models at $80-90. ‘Chrome Legend’ is available at discount stores like Walmart or wholesalers like Sam’s for $30-35. Sometimes they have a perfume section with surprises.

  • I don’t know much about perfumes, but I’m a fan. I’ve been wearing it for a month and gifted it to my mom because she loved it. I bought another one yesterday and started wearing it about 4 hours ago. I love it; I perceive a rich sweetness that comes and goes. I don’t know what it is, but I compare it to burning sugar, yet so delicious. I don’t know what others think, but for me, it’s an affordable and rich fragrance. I bought it blind the first time. I don’t judge anyone; to each their own. Everyone has their taste, but I give it a 9/10.

The 2015 reformulated version (maybe?) has nothing to do with the original, where you could feel the woods and flowers. The new one smells like plastic…

  • I’m not an expert, but I love it. Projection and sillage are spectacular, very long-lasting but not invasive. It lasts so long that the next day it still smells exquisite. Very masculine and versatile. Without a doubt, it’s in my top 3. The only con: it’s super hard to find; apparently, they don’t manufacture it on a large scale.

  • I don’t know what’s going on. It was supposed to be discontinued in 2011, but I found it last week at a discount store for $35. The interesting part: they swapped the cap for cheap plastic, typical of late reformulations. But the fragrance is another story: I presume they reformulated it. The performance is even better than 10 years ago when I first bought it. It smells stronger, projects better, and longevity is good, even after showering. I don’t know who pulled the miracle, but they did a huge favor. It used to smell great, now it smells even better and stronger.

Wow! It’s the first day I’ve used it, and personally, it’s not the greatest thing, but I’ve received two compliments from women today. Apparently, they like it a lot, so if you want to smell good with the female gender, this is the fragrance indicated. Versatile for all year, excellent for the office or as a signature scent. Blind buy recommended! A hidden gem from Azzaro.

  • Rich masculine musk. Easy to wear, no fuss, clean, and versatile; stands out without being intrusive. Long-lasting and well-developed. Feels mature and serious, perfect for men 25 and up. I wear it at the office for casual meetings; ideal for semi-open spaces thanks to its wide sillage. Stimulating, astringent, and slightly sweet. Vetiver, moss, and tea stand out. It delivers and is affordable, though hard to find.

  • Rich talc-like masculine. It’s an easy-to-use and assimilate essence, uncomplicated, practical, clean, and versatile that stands out from the common without being intrusive or complex. It’s a lasting scent that develops very well. I perceive it as a mature essence with a certain seriousness, for men 25 and up. I use it in the morning at work and for informal meetings; it’s good for semi-open spaces due to its wide and lasting sillage. It has a stimulating, astringent, and slightly sweet aroma. The vetiver, moss, and tea stand out. It delivers and has an accessible price; the only downside is that it’s hard to find.

  • ORod-Oficial

Wow! The first day I wore it, I didn’t think much of it, but I already got two compliments from women. They love it, so if you want to smell good around the female gender, this is the fragrance to get. Versatile for all seasons, excellent for the office or as a signature scent. Recommended blind buy. A hidden gem from Azzaro!

  • jeloumaifelas

Super summery scent that wakes you up and gives you energy. As it dries down, you get tea and wood notes with a soft, relaxing musk touch. Gets compliments from the opposite sex. The only downside: the disaster they pulled off with the new bottle and cap.

  • fragranceshot

It’s not unpleasant; it throws me a bit with everything related to the Invictus vibe, youthful, fresh, and with a sweet touch. It doesn’t last as long as I’ve read about here, but honestly, for a summer day, it works well. Now, that part seems very normal, very correct, but it’s not an aroma that stands out at all.

  • As per many reviews, it’s similar to Invictus Legend. It’s very fresh and revitalizing for mornings. Sillage is acceptable, but longevity is very poor.

  • BassoProfumo

Back in 2017, I had a bottle of this fragrance. By then, it was already said to be discontinued. I wonder if those ‘myths’ of discontinuation are fueled by the companies themselves, which users then replicate in forums and manage to make the fragrance more popular. The same thing happened here in Argentina with Ultraviolet by Paco Rabanne, supposedly discontinued years ago, but here it’s still available. At least, until very recently. Getting back to Chrome Legend, the thing is I got it again and it really smells the same as I remembered, aside from the cap change (the current one looks very precarious and sloppy compared to the previous one). For me, it has the air of the classic Chrome and also ‘Pure Chrome’. It’s a subtle beach fragrance, somewhat fresh with a musky/musky connotation and smells like sunscreen. The performance (in both versions, both the vintage with the more elegant cap and the current one with the more precarious cap) is, in my experience, VERY insufficient.

  • I bought this fragrance blind, as a birthday gift for my husband. And it was a total hit. It became an essential for him. I get a lot of a tangerine-type scent from it (probably the bitter orange), but it’s very well blended with the rest of the notes, making it a very pleasant aroma throughout the fragrance’s performance. Plus, it has excellent longevity on the skin. I recommend it 100%.

  • I love it; it’s powerful and brings back good memories. Women have complimented me when I wear it, and men love it too, telling me they wish they had it… But honestly, for a reason, the fragrance DELIVERS.

  • Super potent fragrance, you can definitely smell the green apple, the bitter oranges, and in the background, the musk. It opens very citrusy but then settles into something very woody and finishes with that musk. It lasts a long time on skin, more than 5 hours, leaves a good trail, and projects quite well. It’s a fragrance that won’t disappoint you; you’ll get flooded with compliments.

  • I’ve used this for many years and was always impressed that, despite being herbal and fruity, it’s too potent. If you’re sensitive to scents or hate heavy trails, this isn’t for you. Since its launch, it has very fruity notes, but in my opinion, the black tea stands out more. Its longevity is over 8 hours. I consider it a blend between Invictus Legend and Voyage.

Since its release, it has very fruity notes, but to me, the tea leaves stand out more. Its longevity exceeds 8 hours. I consider it a mix between Invictus Legend and Voyage.

A good fragrance without a doubt, one that earns compliments, giving off a gentleman vibe, nothing of the overly sweet trend that’s really getting on my nerves. I think Azzaro made a huge mistake changing the bottle; the current cap is horrible and gives the impression of being a lower-tier fragrance, whereas for me, at least, it’s one of the best in the Chrome line, and I’ve tried almost all of them. I’m not giving it a ‘I love it’ solely because of the new bottle.

  • Chrome Legend by Azzaro is a fragrance that doesn’t know gray: you either love it or hate it, period. For me, the first thing that came to mind was that smell of Fabuloso floor cleaner mixed with room spray, nothing more. It’s not negative, but I warn you: it’s not for anyone looking for something conventional. The opening is potent and makes it clear it’s not here to please everyone. I don’t think women will like it much, but I do have to acknowledge its brutal longevity: on my skin, it lasts up to 8 hours with an intense trail for the first 3. My advice: test it before buying. It’s not universal and its character can clash if you’re not prepared. The good news is the price is accessible; sometimes a decant costs almost as much as the bottle, so if you jump in blind, you won’t lose much. In the worst-case scenario, use it as a room freshener and believe me, it gives the room a great vibe. Personally, I’m in a middle ground: I don’t dislike it, but it doesn’t invite me to use it. It’s not one I choose with gusto; it’s just there in my collection waiting, though it rarely gets to come out. Not because it’s bad, but because I have options that convince me more. One thing I want to point out: although many categorize it as a summer scent due to its marine notes, I honestly don’t perceive that. To me, it smells more like a retro fragrance from the 80s or 90s, with that nostalgic vibe that might appeal if you’re into those old-school vibes. In short: it delivers, has great longevity, projection, and a price that invites you to take a risk. But watch out, it’s not for everyone. If I had to rate it, I’d give it a 7 out of 10. I wouldn’t call it ‘meh’, but I wouldn’t put it in my top either. Let’s say it’s a ‘meh-good’. And yes, I still think it smells like Fabuloso with an aerosol. That’s my experience, and honestly, that’s how I’m sharing it. Scent: 6.5 | Originality: 7 | Sillage: 8.2 | Projection: 8 | Longevity: 9 | Versatility: 7 | Formality: Casual
