  This perfume disappointed me. Fragrantica claims it lasts over 12 hours, but on my skin it barely hits 6 or 7 at best. I like the scent, though I don’t love it, and honestly, I expected much more. Longevity: 6.5. Sillage: 7. Scent: 7. Value: 6.5. Final score: 6.5. I hope whoever buys this gets better longevity than I did, since I bought it based on reviews from another forum.

  It’s one of Montale’s less shining jewels, especially compared to Wild Aoud and Blue Amber. It smells too much like a factory; I know even niche brands use synthetics, but this one really grates. What stands out most is the saffron, that precious and unusual note that’s usually hidden. It has a bitter, spicy touch that gives it an oriental vibe, but since it’s so synthetic, you don’t get its true essence. It’s like saying ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder,’ but for me, it’s dispensable: it offers nothing interesting. Amouage does that note much better. I think it’s more for fresh or cold days. The longevity, projection, and sillage are typical Montale—moderate and not particularly standout.
