Warm and cozy fragrance, bought for these Christmas holidays for the notes and it was a total hit. I was looking for something coffee-based for relaxing at home, watching TV, or reading, and this delivers. The coffee is there all the time but doesn’t suffocate; you can feel the creamy vanilla and hints of toasted cookie. The amaretto liquor is in the background, perceptible but not dominant. In summary, comforting and commendable longevity, I feel it all day. Moderate projection. Today, on the eve of Epiphany, I ate an afogato at an Italian restaurant and it reminded me totally and absolutely of this scent. Despite its detractors, for me it’s a delightful acquisition.
I was disappointed (for the worse) by the performance of this Mancera. I expected overwhelming trail and longevity like others from the house, and nothing. It stays stuck to the skin, little projection, and after the fourth hour, it’s no longer noticeable, you have to reapply. It’s a shame because the scent is a marvel: it’s not cloying, it smells like ice cream, toasted sugar, and the last sip of coffee, with a touch of licorice that I love. A top gourmand, but I wish it projected and lasted more.
Honesty: at the start, the coffee takes over, then brown sugar wins. Decent longevity and projection. It’s enjoyable, but between this and Khamra Qahwa, I’d stick with the other, which smells almost the same.
For me, it’s the coffee version of Bianco Latte. Very gourmand.
I wrote this review because on my skin this perfume behaves differently than what others say. In Amore Caffè, three things dominate: the alcohol of the amaretto, the roasted coffee (both invade the heart notes), and the sweetness of the caramelized sugar. For me, the ice cream and vanilla notes in the heart are very weak, almost imperceptible if you don’t pay attention. Although they don’t say it, there are slight fruity notes of apricot, lemon, orange, fig, and cherry. Also some aromatic herbs like thyme and rosemary. Besides the almond note, there are nuts, hazelnuts, and warm spices like star anise, pink pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon, and saffron. For me, it’s more of a spiced amaretto with coffee, ideal after a good meal. Since I needed something with alcoholic character in my collection, it’s a total hit: it starts with a coffee-alcohol punch and slowly softens starting from the second hour. In my case, it lasts about 7 to 8 hours and projects about a meter and a half for the first two hours, then drops to about 20cm from the skin. It’s not a beast mode, but it tries to be. My recommendation: use it for leisure moments, not for sports, clubbing, or outdoors (barbecues, asados, concerts). It will be very wearable for those who enjoy this type of aromas. I always recommend testing on skin before buying niche.
I’ve been wearing it for a month and it’s definitely worth writing about: it’s gorgeous, warm, and helps you romanticize life. I first wore it to go out with my ex (who wasn’t my ex yet, F), and as I passed by his house, his mom told me, ‘You’re the one who smells so good,’ and she could smell it from the patio, four meters away. That’s when I realized how beastly the projection is. The longevity is also incredible: I put it on at 3 PM and could still smell it at noon the next day, and it’s not the only time; I always notice it until the next day, very present. It projects and lasts like crazy, but it doesn’t bother anyone; it’s sweet but not aggressive, just use it when the temperature is below 68°F (17°C). I’ve only received good comments. It’s dominated by coffee, vanilla, and caramel, but together they highlight a dark, toasted, caramelized vanilla. At first, for the first three minutes, the amaretto takes over. I would definitely buy it again because it suits my personality. It’s unisex, perfect for men or women. First long review ever, haha, but it deserves it. Mancera nailed it with this launch👏🏽.
It’s super sweet. The first thing you notice is the coffee, nothing too strong, and immediately comes the vanilla, like a tiramisu but without being overloaded with coffee, it’s very delicious.
What a sweet and hugging perfume. At first, I thought it would be similar to Ristretto Café Intense, but this one is more gourmand, sweeter, with an exquisite vanilla-amaretto note. It reminds me of mature grain coffee with liquor, so rich. The best part: it lasts 8 hours on my skin without needing to macerate. It’s absolutely worth it, I totally recommend it. Beautiful. Of course, it’s more hugging and noticeable in colder months, but it’s addictive, believe me.
After a month, I can say it’s a gorgeous perfume that helps you romanticize life, very warm and distinctive. The first time I wore it with my ex (who wasn’t my ex yet) and his mom told me she smelled it from the patio, four meters away with walls in between. I realized it’s a beast in projection and longevity: applied at 3 PM, I could smell it at noon the next day, and it always happens. It projects and lasts a lot, but it doesn’t bother; it’s sweet but not challenging, ideal below 68°F (17°C). I’ve only received good comments. Rough scent of coffee granita with a lot of sugar. It’s not comparable to the complexity and power of Montale’s Intense Café. Not even comparable to The Only One. In the dry down, you can perceive some waves that seem…
I had so many expectations with the name, the brand, and the main note, but it wasn’t what I expected. It smells sweet, you can really smell the ice cream, and I agree with the comments below: it smells like a frappé with tons of sugar. I expected a more serious and mature coffee scent, keeping the femininity.
Literally smells like tiramisu. Strong coffee at the start, like a creamy cappuccino with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Gradually it blends with the amaretto and sugar. In the end, it leaves that aroma of an almond biscuit with vanilla and some diluted coffee. I find it cloying, but for those who like gourmand scents, it could be a good option.
Unisex, right in the middle, neither feminine nor masculine. The coffee note combined with vanilla ice cream gives it the perfect touch to be very unisex. I was given a sample and loved it, gave it to my girlfriend and she thought it tasted great too, I liked it so much I ended up buying it. Projection is between 8 and 10 hours, best in the first two, then it fades and becomes more subtle, but someone right next to you can still smell it.
What a huge delight. Love at first sniff, both men and women in my house love it. I think it works for day, night, anytime, and in any climate except extreme heat. Plus, it’s extremely versatile, unisex, and delicious.
Finally tried this Amore Caffe. First thing: it puts your blood sugar in the clouds. I would have preferred less sweet and more bitter, but it’s very well done. It’s an affogato on vanilla ice cream. The first 30-40 minutes the amaretto and coffee are very prominent; for me, the amaretto tastes more like hazelnut liqueur than almonds. Finally a coffee without roses stealing the spotlight (here it’s vanilla with coffee). Like any good Mancera, decent longevity and projection. Over 10 hours of longevity and excellent projection for nearly two. Unisex and almost mandatory in the cold, it’s quite sweet.
Delicious, like a creamy and enveloping affogato. You can really taste the ice cream cream and the coffee is a sweet, creamy note. Lasted over 8 hours on skin and more than 15 on clothes.
Sweet coffee opening that lasts for hours before leaving just vanilla and a faint coffee touch. It didn’t feel like anything new, very similar to many perfumes on the market. It’s rich and I like it, but I wouldn’t buy it. Normal projection and it lasts well.
I loved it, it smells like little cups of ice cream, but unfortunately, it has zero projection.
It’s like stumbling into 200 kilos of affogato and diving right in. If you don’t want to smell like this, don’t miss out. Powerful scent, great trail, and long-lasting. Almond, coffee, and vanilla notes, but the coffee is more of a sugary touch than an intense one. Vanilla is the star, with that ‘ice cream cookie’ vibe. It’s delicious, but ideal for smelling on someone else or in a bakery for 5 minutes, not for all day. Be careful in the heat; too many sprays can make you dizzy.
Amore Caffè by Mancera is a straight-up gourmand that replicates an Affogato dessert with exactitude. It’s impressive the skill required to replicate that sensation; a true marvel. It has excellent performance, like the whole house, with longevity and projection that don’t disappoint. It’s an almost blind-buy recommendation, especially for gourmand and Affogato lovers.
In Colombia we have sweets called Coffee Delight and this perfume smells like that, a bit more alcoholic. It’s a delight, on a rainy cold day it feels like a hug and brings back good childhood memories. My only complaint is the dry down: after a few hours, the coffee disappears and leaves a brown sugar that’s a bit flat and annoying. For cold days when you invite your partner for Netflix and chill, it works wonderfully.

Mancera usually makes bold, sometimes excessive fragrances. This perfume is like a dessert that seems like a good idea but ends up cloying and leaves you craving water. It starts promising, like a freshly made Italian espresso, but then the brown sugar crashes in like a bull in a china shop, dominating everything and turning the fragrance into a disaster. It’s a gourmet coffee ruined by ten spoonfuls of sugar. It’s as if they spilled caramel syrup on the espresso and it’s worse with an eternal duration that clings to your skin like a bad decision. The sweet aftertaste lingers. The coffee and pepper notes get eclipsed by the sugar. If you want to smell like coffee cake, go ahead, you’ll pay too much and end up with a hyper-sugared frappuccino. YIKES!
I agree with Le Changonguiers’ review and add: on my skin, it smells very similar to Khamrah Qawha.
It’s definitely tricky to wear. It doesn’t evolve; it smells cloying and heavy the whole time. I have to spray my finger first and then apply small touches, otherwise, I can’t even stand it. It feels synthetic, like concentrated coffee candies to no end. There are better options; Qawha does what Amore Caffè doesn’t.
A total disappointment. Instead of this, buy Khamrah Qawha, which is the same but better in longevity, projection, and coffee usage. Here, the coffee lasts only the opening and gets buried by the sweetness. Missed opportunity. If you want a sweet vanilla with good coffee that projects and lasts, buy the Khamrah Qawha by Lattafa. I bought the Amore Caffè 120ml for €145 and already requested a refund. To replace it, I’m buying the Khamrah Qawha for just €31.
The concept is good, but the coffee notes don’t last at all, and in the end, it smells like vanilla cake and caramel, which can get cloying. Still, it’s one of the gourmands I enjoy the most. Those five minutes of coffee and amaretto are magical.
Straight to the point: it smells like coffee, but it’s gone in 30 minutes. Then comes 9 hours and 30 minutes of brown sugar vanilla ice cream. The projection is moderate, and it’s a solid winter fragrance and one of my favorites. If the coffee lasted longer, it would be a 10/10.
I ordered a decant and I’m disappointed. The opening is an overwhelming amaretto, and since I don’t love that note much, I thought it would recede, but here it dominates the coffee. I’m hoping it mellows out in the dry down, because right now it’s too strong.
The opening smells like real coffee, as if I’d splashed delicious coffee on my clothes in a café. The good news is the coffee fades, leaving behind a slightly bitter, sugary vanilla. The bad news is the sillage is super intimate; I can’t even smell it on myself once applied—you have to be right up against me to catch it. The concept is top-notch, but the execution falls short.
It’s a very good fragrance and great for the price. It leans more toward amaretto than coffee; quite honestly, it doesn’t smell much like coffee, but it’s very rich and sweet. It’s like a coffee and amaretto dessert, but with more amaretto than coffee. Rating: 8.5/10.
I suppose I recommend testing perfumes at least twice. The first time this smelled wonderful, but the second time… it smelled like syrup.
It’s a very rich fragrance, leaning unisex but slightly feminine. The notes are well-blended; that liquor, coffee, and amber base make it smell like perfume, not melted affogato. It’s not what I look for in a coffee scent: too sweet for my taste. Performance is moderate (sillage and longevity) for the current price, but I think it’s fine—this with steroids would surely cloy and lose the finesse of being a Mancera (I’ve read there are Arab dupes with these characteristics). If you like sweet scents but not overly gourmand and cloying for all-day wear, go ahead, this is it.
I just tried this perfume and loved it. It smells like soft coffee, caramel, and vanilla ice cream; it’s incredible. I haven’t tested the longevity and projection yet, but right away the scent is exquisite. I’ll add the rest soon; it’s 100% unisex.
I expected a much stronger and more prominent coffee note, but the sweet notes take over almost entirely. That’s not necessarily bad; the scent ends up like a cajeta frappuccino with whipped cream: super sweet but very delicious.
Totally disappointed; it smells strongly of amaretto and is way too expensive. It smells similar to Khamrah Qhawa, so I’d recommend getting that instead: it’s cheaper and smells better, at least on my skin.
The coffee note lasts only a few minutes; afterward, the fragrance transforms into a vanilla essence. The projection is moderate, and I feel there are many similar options on the market.
Mancera delivers a sweet, warm, and seductive proposal. It’s one of the gourmands I recommend most for its scent; for lovers of the genre, it’s extremely pleasant. The niche house’s iconic bottle is simple and elegant, holding a liquid that reminds me of cold coffee. The name ‘AMORE CAFFÈ’ evokes a deep love for the bean. While it succeeds in evoking coffee, it does so uniquely: a roasted, very sweet coffee embraced by ice cream, cookie, and rich vanilla, transporting you to an Italian affogato. To balance that sweetness, Amaretto adds warmth from the start, acting as a strong note that then recedes to let the ice cream, vanilla, and coffee shine through more deeply. Perfect for feeling calm and happy. Completely unisex. Lasts 6-8 hours on skin with a moderate, personal trail. Final note: 9.7/10. Cons: The name suggests coffee is the star, but it isn’t, and it’s not as intense as real coffee. Also, the Amaretto can be too strong for some.
Exquisite gourmand scent with a coffee top note and a sweet vanilla base. An excellent choice for cold days.
