This fragrance didn’t work for me. I was looking for something sweet, gourmand, and cozy, with a complex and sophisticated scent, but Mahni Cassonade doesn’t deliver. It sounds synthetic and unpleasant, with a strange smoky note that reminds me of the scented markers I had as a kid. As it dries down, the burnt tone fades a bit, but I still can’t detect the promised notes. I bought a decant and it will be hard to finish; I don’t know who to gift it to—it’s a very unusual scent.
