  • It smells like vanilla cookie, sweet and comforting. It’s an extract and lasts all day. By the way, it smells very similar to BBW’s Vanilla Bean Noe.

  • It smells like vanilla ice cream… I don’t know if I want to literally smell like that, honestly.

  • Gourmand Bottle

One of the sweetest vanillas of the season, but watch out: being an extract, its projection is low. I don’t understand the TikTok or internet hype, especially with that price. Exaggerated or paid reviews don’t fool anyone: it doesn’t ‘fill rooms’ as they say, which is a shame because it smells beautiful. It lasts about 5 hours and then weakens, needing re-application. Don’t misunderstand me, I love the smell, but for that price, I prefer other options that give a better experience and performance. EDIT: In the end, fate turned, and I bought it. Since I tried it, I couldn’t stop wanting it; I adore gourmands. Although I still think the projection is weak, the longevity surprised me greatly, and I enjoy every application.

  • Oh my goodness, what a rich thing. I jumped in blind, and honestly, I wasn’t sure about it, because I’d read contradictory reviews, from those captivated by this essence to those disappointed because it didn’t meet their expectations. I’ll say directly what it smells like to me: ‘absolutely delicious slightly toasted caramelized vanilla.’ And that’s it. I have a sample of the famous Tihota vanilla, and honestly, they smell almost the same, with that caramel nuance a little bit like ‘slightly burnt,’ which Tihota doesn’t have. But that nuance is very light (it’s like extremely lightly toasted, but very light on my nose). If you like Tihota, you’ll love this gourmand treat too. 95% similar, but for the same price, this one comes with double the quantity. Gourmand aroma, absolutely appetizing, and linear throughout the fragrance’s duration. I consider it a basic in any gourmand wardrobe. As for longevity, it’s very good in my case (you know this depends on everyone). It lasts eight hours; as for projection, it’s moderate, but you smell yourself constantly. Unisex: although honestly, I no longer have criteria for these things, because I buy all the fragrances I like, regardless of the marketed gender, but I’m saying this in case some guy is interested in it and lets himself be guided only by Fragrantica votes, which list it as a bit more feminine. I’m super comfortable with it, and no one has told me it smells feminine.

What a delightful perfume. At first, I pulled back a bit from the burnt sugar smell in the opening, but the best comes after letting it dry down a little, giving way to one of the finest vanillas I’ve ever smelled. It’s not a heavy or pastry-like vanilla, but rather a warm one with that gourmand touch from the sugar note. As a gourmand lover, this is a must-have. If it’s true that it’s not a powerful perfume and doesn’t have much sillage, the longevity is incredible. I even detected it the day after applying it. I understand what puts people off is the price, but as a vanilla fan, I’m super thrilled.

It smells 90% like the Yves Rocher Vanilla Cologne. I love it. It doesn’t resemble Bianco Latte at all; it might even be closer to the musky-sweet touch of Yum Boudoir.

  • I didn’t like it at all at first. A rather repulsive burnt sugar note; I couldn’t smell anything else, especially in the opening. Then, as it dried down, things improved… but that burnt sugar note is always there in the background. It improves a lot; the vanilla they put in here is damn good… I understand its fame in the dry-down, it’s very addictive, you want to smell it more and more. But unfortunately, its opening scares me too much to tolerate it and reach the dry-down. I’m going to give it more chances on my skin these weeks and will post an update.

  • It hit me wrong. The opening smells like burnt sugar, quite repulsive, and nothing else comes through, especially right after spraying. Then, as it dries, it does improve… but that burnt sugar note lingers in the background. The vanilla they put in here is damn good… I understand its reputation in the dry-down; it’s very addictive, you want to smell it over and over. But unfortunately, the opening scares me too much to endure and reach the dry-down. I’ll give it more chances on my skin these weeks and will post an update.

  • I know it doesn’t actually contain coffee, but it smells just like Amore Caffe. I absolutely love that initial burnt sugar note, all driven by a super deep vanilla. It’s like if you took the coffee out of Amore and were left with just that caramelized sensation from the dry-down.
