I’m really drawn to this fragrance. It’s strong but not overpowering or cloying. My only issue is that it doesn’t last long and the trail is moderate. The one I have is Eau de Toilette.
I was gifted this perfume and it didn’t surprise me. I prefer the traditional Amor Amor (red bottle); this one smells fresh, sweet, and modern, but it’s not that special. Several men who approached said ‘so good,’ I suppose it’s the vanilla and musk that always attract attention. It doesn’t disgust me or drive me crazy; it’s a great all-rounder. Cheers.
I just bought it. It keeps the base of the original Amor Amor (the red bottle) and adds warm notes like vanilla and a citrus coffee, like a fruit or seed, nothing like a cappuccino, along with vague fruity notes. It feels youthful, fresh, and sweet, but not cloying. It’s the gourmand version of the classic.
The scent is nice, sweet but not overpowering; coffee, frangipani, spices, and woods make it very pleasant. It reminds me a bit of Kenzo Amour, but it has a flaw: it lasts way too short and barely leaves a trail. You have to douse it on.

I absolutely love it. I bought it just because it was on sale and it wasn’t my favorite, but since the first use, I haven’t stopped wearing it. It doesn’t last long and doesn’t project much, plus it gives me a slight headache when I apply it, but by the end of the day, it’s barely noticeable.
At first, it seemed very strong. It smells rich and sweet, but with a lot of intensity. I’d recommend it for adults; I don’t think it’s for a younger crowd.
It smells nice, but it’s nothing special. It doesn’t leave a mark and fades quickly. I wouldn’t recommend it; it’s almost identical to Amor Amor Catch Me once it dries down. Cacharel has gotten very boring. Plus, Catch Me smells nearly identical to Mugler’s Alien, just less intense, and Forbidden Kiss is very dull. I expected more.
I think Cacharel should bring back original scents like Absolu and stop releasing generic, repetitive fragrances like Catch Me or Forbidden.

What is excellent is its longevity and sillage: with two sprays, you’re distilling perfume for hours. In that sense, it’s very well done, but as for the scent itself: nothing remarkable. It’s a very sweet scent that I personally like a lot. The downside is that it leaves a scarce, almost non-existent scent trail. In the end, it seems like you’re buying the fragrance for nothing, and its price, being an Eau de Toilette with poor longevity, seems very high

I have this perfume and it’s very similar to Love Potion by Oriflame. Yes, there’s a hint of Black Opium only at the beginning, then it leaves that little chocolate with liquor cherries scent. I love it! The only thing is that it has moderate sillage and doesn’t last long on my skin, but the aroma is exquisite
A great perfume for coquettish outings. The opening is very noticeable with coffee notes, and I get a ‘taste’ of Coca-Cola when applying it. Over time, the vanilla and strawberries intensify. Every time I wear it, someone is surprised and asks what I’m wearing with a face like ‘I want it!’. On my skin, it lasts about 4 hours, but sometimes, even when I can’t smell it anymore, people tell me how beautiful it smells. A gem for winter and summer!
If the regular Love Love is perfume for a mature lady, the Forbidden Kiss version is even more so. In my opinion, it’s less youthful due to its bulky and thick notes. It smells too sweet and heavy, with a coffee aroma that turns citrusy and vague when combined with vanilla and musk. I tried it in the store and it smelled like coffee and chocolate, delicious. But the longevity felt a bit vague. It reminds me of Opium! It smells the same but less dense, like a softer version, just as it settles on the skin and smells like creamy cocoa

The little I remember is that it smells rough and purple, nothing like Black Opium; this one is softer. At first, it’s like fresh, sweet orange Coca-Cola, then it turns into an amber, similar to Nova but sweeter. The sillage is low, like a purple hair conditioner but less sweet. It shares a touch of frangipani with other Cacharel perfumes, but they aren’t the same. It’s a romantic, fresh, timeless, and winter scent. I heard it was discontinued, what a shame, because it was my favorite from the Love Love line; the red one I smell very strongly <3
What can I say about Love Love Forbidden Kiss? I have a guilty pleasure collecting the flankers. It’s not as sweet as I expected, not as much as the original nor as others. At least not that cloying gourmand sweetness like La Vie est Belle. First I smell grapefruit and a hint of pepper, then it shifts to a light coffee with peony and vanilla. On my skin, that’s it; the woods are barely there or very warm without being heavy. Comparing it to Black Opium is asking the nose to leave. In the dry down, I smell flowers and a soapy musk touch. It doesn’t have great projection; it’s intimate. Calm for daytime, not for flooding. Average longevity, about 4 or 5 hours. It happens with many new Cacharel scents, not taking it personally. I like it; it’s a relief that it’s not so sweet, my nose appreciates it.

I just bought the 30ml version at a price that’s basically a gift in Argentina… so following this site and having the guts to buy blind, it was a hit. It’s muuuy good… it might feel like a chill version of Black Opium… it’s a vibe, but not the same. If you like YSL’s scent, you’ll definitely like this, and it’s much more accessible. Great longevity and projection.

It was my favorite until I stopped finding it. Super sexy, sensual, sweet but not cloying. It feels powerful yet tender, for any occasion.
Whoever decided to discontinue it: I want that person in jail. It was delicious, sweet, and deep. I need it back.
If you still love it, you can find it in Argentina in 2025 at a good price. I always wear it in winter and it lasts quite a while.
😭😥 It deserves to return to the market; it would be a total hype today. It had something special, a well-made flanker of Love Love. I smelled soda, like Coca-Cola, nothing synthetic, with a hard-to-imitate ‘purple’ nocturnal scent. Nothing like the repetitive fragrances of now. The bottle with roses and a black background was gorgeous ♡
I used to wear it at uni for going out because it’s too heavy for class. It’s like the original but spicier, marking my student years. It gave me a warm, Christmas-spice vibe. Perfect for fall/winter, free days, or nights. It lasted until my 3rd year and I associate it with a regular, not great, period, but thanks to it and another scent, I got through that emotional block. Sometimes I link life phases to fragrances, and this one got to see me at my worst 🙈
