Descripción

Yes I Am by Cacharel is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2018, this composition was created by Honorine Blanc and Christophe Raynaud. The top notes unfold a vibrant freshness with raspberry, mandarin, bergamot, and lemon; the heart reveals an exuberant florality of gardenia, ginger flower, jasmine, orange blossom, and rose, interwoven with amber nuances; while the base notes offer an enveloping warmth and creaminess thanks to milk, caramel, vanilla, cardamom, licorice, coumarin, benzoin, sandalwood, and Amberwood.

Absolutely delicious! Similar to Bombshell Intense and Egeo Dolce Colors. On me, it lasts 12 hours or more, with a moderate sillage and a very feminine vibe.

  • I love it! I gifted it to my mother blindfolded when I went on a trip, and she loved it. Eventually, I had to buy it for myself. I’m a fan of citrus perfumes but felt I needed a sweet one for winter or evening wear, and this is perfect. It’s a sweet perfume but not overpowering. I also feel that, unlike other sweet scents, this suits my skin very well, with the raspberry really standing out. However, I wish it had more longevity; it doesn’t last long on my skin.

I smelled it at a bar and fell in love instantly. I tracked down the girl wearing it and bought it the next day. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last on my skin at all (not even an hour) and isn’t very noticeable. In fact, I use a Millanell dupe that smells the same but is much cheaper. The scent is absolutely delicious—sweet yet fresh, not cloying. For me, it’s addictive and works great day or night; it could be my favorite perfume, but I’m sorry it doesn’t last on my skin at all 🙁

  • A rich, sweet fragrance without being cloying. I really detect the raspberry and caramel. On my skin, it lasted its full eight hours; once it develops, it reminds me of Avon’s classic Attraction, the feminine version.

  • I usually wear citrus fragrances, so buying this was stepping out of my comfort zone. I love it because it’s not a cloyingly sweet scent, which is what I dislike about sweet perfumes. It’s delicate and leaves a soft trail that people around you can smell. Caramel is the most prominent note on my skin. When I run out, I’ll definitely buy it again. I also adore the bottle.

  • This perfume is spicy raspberry; I don’t detect any caramel or lactonic notes. It’s just raspberry and spices.

  • The notes I detect most in this Yes I Am by Cacharel are milk, raspberry, and vanilla. I have to say, the result seems remarkably artificial to me, and I agree it reminds me of baby shampoo or soap. I also agree that it’s not cloying, but it lacks personality. Hmm, I’d say it’s ‘okay’ but it doesn’t excite me in the least. As for the price? Well, I think it should cost a little less. That said, the bottle is absolutely stunning.

  • Just received it, and while I expected more based on the reviews and videos I watched, it didn’t disappoint entirely. It’s pretty… reminded me of Ari by AG but less gourmand. I don’t detect the spice or milk, just fruity raspberry (with barely any citrus at the start), then something powdery white floral (which doesn’t quite work for me), and finally caramel. Again, it’s not bad, just the notes that would make it shine aren’t standing out… I’ll give it more time and come back with a second impression. For now, it has good body, ideal for mild days or evening wear.

I absolutely love it. It’s a mix of raspberry, caramel, and something creamy. It’s not groundbreaking and has a slight artificial touch, but it’s a sweet scent that isn’t cloying, perfect for year-round use. Great for casual occasions. Feminine, sweet, and wearable. Good personal sillage and average longevity.

  • It’s very rich, youthful, smelling of red fruits and caramel, but quite basic. I’d buy it again only if I see it on sale; I usually get bored with very sweet and mass-market perfumes, but it’s a great option for a gift.

It’s delicious. My boyfriend has Jean Paul Gaultier’s Scandal pour Homme, and I was looking for a similar feminine version; I tried this and found a lot of similarity. It’s a warm perfume that leaves a caramel scent that makes you want to get close and smell it. I consider it 100% a night scent, sweet but mature and attractive.

  • ari_sweetperfumes

I’ve seen its ads thousands of times, and for me, it was another Cacharel discovery: I didn’t expect such a delicious caramel scent. I find that sweetness with notes of raspberry and vanilla, a bit of musk when it dries down, and citrus in the opening that then disappears. It might seem simple because I don’t smell the other notes much, but I absolutely love the combination. I don’t know how to describe it, but if you like youthful, sweet (caramel-like), milky, and slightly musky scents, this eau de parfum is perfect. It’s wearable, not overwhelming, and I recommend it more for evening, afternoon, or temperate climates.

  • I loved it as soon as I smelled it, since I’m a fan of mentholated raspberry hard candies, and it has exactly that aroma and freshness. It’s sweet but cool. It doesn’t have a layered development; it’s linear and direct. Still, I like it.

  • It’s not what it seems at first. Yes, it’s sweet, but not cloying or overwhelming. I also don’t see it as a night scent; it’s a sweet, playful daytime fragrance, leaning fresh, like Nina Ricci’s apples. The opening is potent but fades significantly. What stands out most is the synthetic caramelized raspberry (it reminds me of a lipstick or gloss). I faintly detect the ginger, but I don’t sense the milk. I really liked it. It won’t change your life, but it’s cheerful to wear. The seller claimed it lasted long, but test it on your own skin chemistry… on me, it sits close to the skin and lasts at most 3 hours.

  • Cherryblush

I was surprised when I tried it and liked it immediately. It’s sweet but not cloying; I see it as very versatile for spring, summer, and even daytime in autumn. It lasted about 6 hours on my skin, and after reapplying, it lingered on my clothes until I washed them. It smells like sweet raspberries with a hint of menthol, which I imagine is the ginger. Quite youthful. A safe buy.

  • nicky doll

I had it in the original and in the Spanish equivalent by Saphir Parfums, the cologne Kisses. It smells great, but in both versions, the longevity is low on my skin. Sweet without being cloying. Perfect for everyday wear. I wouldn’t buy the original due to the price and longevity, but I’d buy the equivalent again. 8/10.

  • I’m reviewing it again because I really enjoy this one. I even kept it in my bag (alongside a decant of L’Interdit Rouge) as an emergency fragrance to wear out and about…

  • paoladonosoc

From the very first moment, caramel, vanilla, milk, and amber explode on my skin with a subtle fruity undertone. There are no citrus notes, not even at the start; it’s more of a generic sweet fruit scent, not raspberry. It’s not bad and pleasant, but initially, it smells like a dozen other perfumes—and overwhelmingly so for me, not in a nostalgic way. The caramel can be annoying and sounds synthetic. As it dries down, spices appear but very faintly; you have to really focus to catch them. It doesn’t last long and has weak projection.

  • oliendobonito

Caramel, ginger, and licorice. It’s sweet, warm, and spicy. If you don’t like sweet perfumes, this isn’t for you. It smells mature, dark, sexy, and seductive. Too bad the longevity isn’t the best. It’s versatile, but I wouldn’t wear it in summer.

  • Coni Macarena Miel

Before Ariana Grande’s milky perfumes, there was this one; it’s an underrated gem. The good thing is it’s always on sale, especially the 30 ml. Let me tell you there’s a brand in Chile called Yves de Alain Privee that sells an inspiration, and the truth is it’s identical, actually more so, with better longevity. This is a fragrance for people who like to smell sweet, like a creamy doll, but without being overwhelming. If you want to smell cheerful, with character, fresh but sweet, hehe, this is a very good alternative ✨️.

After several years, we’ve met again… the first time I smelled it was right after the pandemic when my sense of smell was altered; I fell in love with the notes and the packaging, bought it blindly, and when I smelled it… it was a weird mix of raspberry, menthol, and cigarettes. It smelled like cherry Halls with cigarettes, and I was really sad about it. I ended up gifting it. Now I found it at a good price and gave it another chance, and finally I can smell the caramel, flowers, and vanilla. It still has a slight menthol note here and there, I don’t know if it’s the cardamom, but it’s very subtle; mostly it smells sweet and fruity. I’m liking it a lot and I’m glad I acquired it. Sometimes it’s worth giving another chance to fragrances that didn’t match us in the past.

  • Anjellychee

I’ll start by saying the bottle looks adorable, and I think it would make almost any teenager happy. For me, this fragrance opens up like an acidic fruit juice, very fresh and sparkling, and stays that way for a while. Almost half of the 4 hours it lasts on my skin. As it dries down, I perceive a slight honey aroma, well below the freshness of the 20,000 fruits declared in the notes. To me, it dries down like a citrus scent that softens gradually, which I suppose is due to the milk and vanilla. Sweet and fresh all the time, I think it’s appropriate for daily use, better for young women.

  • I love the scent of this perfume; it reminds me a lot of a cherry Halls mint (the red one); it’s exquisite and has the perfect balance between sweet and refreshing, ideal for afternoon and night. It makes me feel sweet, clean, secure, and a bit sexy. However, regarding its longevity and sillage, I don’t like it at all; it lasts very little on me, and nothing smells until someone gets very close. Would I buy it again? For my own enjoyment. Scent: 10/10, Sillage: 4/10, Versatility: 8/10.

  • I love the scent of this perfume; it’s sweet but not cloying. The note I perceive most is definitely the raspberry, but it has an elegant sweetness. I’m using it now, and what I don’t like is that it lasts very little on skin and clothes. Despite that, it’s a good perfume, good price, and I would repurchase it.

  • Removed from my collection 💄. It was a fragrance I used to repurchase and love, but now it’s boring and I’m moving on to keep only what truly fascinates me. It’s gone because it lasts a breath, the scent is indifferent to me, the raspberry note doesn’t excite me, and I no longer like milky perfumes. Just so you know, I valued this Cacharel perfume when it launched for its innovation.

  • Very rich and playful. I’d say it’s more of an EDT than an EDP due to its short duration; it lasts on clothes, not skin, for a maximum of 4 hours. The interesting thing is that hours later, after showering with the steam or sweating a bit, it reactivates and releases a very caramelized aroma, like popcorn and milk… really delicious, though a bit tiring, but quite intimate and without leaving a big trail. If the intention is to seduce up close, it achieves it, but the scent won’t linger on other people’s clothes.

  • It’s a fragrance where I can really smell the gardenia, jasmine, and caramel. For some reason, its development feels generic and artificial to me. If asked, it reminds me of Antonio Banderas’ Her Secret. If you like that one, this is very much in the same style, just more expensive. I tested it in summer, although they recommend it for winter and night. Longevity and projection, like all Cacharel scents, are excellent.

  • The scent is very pleasant; you can tell the raspberry and tangerine (a bit synthetic) over a base of vanilla and caramel, very creamy and warm. I even sense a hint of cocoa. Occasionally there are floral bursts. It’s sweet without being cloying, doesn’t make me dizzy or bore me. But the sillage and longevity are almost non-existent, which is a shame. Still, I’d keep it in my collection.

  • Jesica La Roja

Just tried it, and to be honest, I don’t see anything innovative. It’s not ugly, it’s pretty, but it smells like a generic caramel scent. I can’t detect any flowers, spices, or resins… What a pity, because the listed notes combination seems interesting. It’s a shame that a house like Cacharel, which used to create grand, unmistakable classics like LouLou, Edén, or Anaïs Anaïs, now limits itself to mediocre fragrances.

  • It’s not what it used to be. It changed from a sweet, fresh raspberry gourmand to a very heavy synthetic sweet. It almost smells like Christmas cookies and barely lasts on the skin. Such a pity they modified it so much. For the price, it’s hardly worth it anymore.

  • AntaresAres

I’m not sure if it was reformulated, but what reaches my nose is just another generic fragrance among those sugary, sweet scents flooding the market. Nothing special. It starts with loud, super-acidic gummy candies pretending to be raspberries and undefined citrus, ending in a catastrophe: a giant creamy caramel that sticks to your molars and gives you a toothache the next day. The florals are indistinguishable; they could claim exclusive gardenia or delicate jasmine, but my nose just sees a wall of syrup. Even the ginger, which I love, is undetectable, perhaps because Yes I Am causes olfactory fatigue. It’s pure candy. In my opinion, it’s a perfect juice for lolis and otakus—childish and sexy, but not in a good way. It has its audience, tastes vary. For him, if he lives in Spain, I’d recommend Tertia Sensu instead: much cheaper, longer-lasting, with a tsunami-level sillage. It’s well-executed and improved over the original, so whoever wants to understand already knows what Yes I Am is.

  • tamagotchi

It lasts so little that I couldn’t even perceive its notes; it’s like a body spray.

  • Amorperfumado

It’s fruity, slightly milky, with lots of cardamom. It reminds me of Amor Amor, Black Opium, and La Belle, but Yes I Am is spicier, with raspberry, caramel, and cardamom. That bitter spice balances the sweetness without being overwhelming. It’s youthful and pleasant, but for the price, the longevity is poor: about an hour on skin, 3-4 on clothes. Ideal for spring, fall, summer nights, and as a gift for teens thanks to the beautiful bottle and easy scent.

  • I’ve had this since 2020 or before, and it’s not super acidic or loud. The flowers soften it so it smells like a perfume, not food—like a raspberry and floral smoothie. Sometimes I feel it’s more acidic, but that might be psychological or hormonal. Longevity is average. The body lotion definitely smells like AntaresAres describes. If they reformulated it, I won’t use up the ml I have left and will try the purple flanker instead.

  • SweetCammie

I tried it and found it generic—that synthetic vanilla that ruins everything. I love sweet scents, but mix citrus, florals, spices, and vanilla, and it gives me a headache.

  • I use it at home or for quick errands. It doesn’t last long, but I don’t need it to. It reminds me of something from my teenage years; I don’t know what there is about Cacharel perfumes that just makes me feel so tender.

  • I gifted this for a birthday: it smells sweet and feminine, lasts about 6-7 hours, and the bottle is quirky. If you catch it on sale, it’s a great price. Everything is fine except the spray mechanism—it’s uncomfortable and stiff; if you don’t squeeze hard, it literally spurts liquid out like a cobra.

  • Cacharel’s Yes I Am is a floral blend featuring cardamom and licorice/sandalwood. It’s light, not heavy at all, and very elegant.
