Descripción
Cacharel's Amor Amor Eau de Parfum is a fruity floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2024, this creation is a new addition to the collection. Composed by Dora Baghriche, the top notes unfold a vibrant freshness with pear, blackcurrant, and pink grapefruit; the heart reveals a romantic florality with red rose, lily of the valley, and jasmine; while the base notes provide warmth and longevity with vanilla, white musk, and cedar.

I was surprised to learn there was an Eau de Parfum of the classic ‘Amor Amor’, and when I tried it, I was greatly disappointed. I can’t find any resemblance to the original EDT, and besides, it barely lasted. The sillage is low too. I don’t recommend it; the original Amor Amor is better, without a doubt.
I just bought it because I’m a fan of the Eau de Toilette. It’s intense, you can really feel the creamy/juicy pear and a sweetness I think comes from the lily. I don’t feel it’s my absolute favorite yet, but it’s addictive to smell. I’ll keep testing it and then update the longevity and sillage.
I went to compare it with the EDT to clear up my doubt, and they have nothing to do with each other. The EDT is much richer. The Parfum is simpler and different, lame. I didn’t like it at all. The EDT has tons of notes, you can smell all of them, and it’s ultra-feminine.
It doesn’t smell anything like the EDT. The original is very well-balanced and has a very soft sensual touch that makes it versatile. But the EDP is more fruity and bright, nothing nocturnal like they sell it. Also, in my opinion, it’s very similar to Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, not very original to be honest.
I bought it skeptical due to the bad reviews, but honestly, I’ve loved it. The opening is super fresh, but as it dries down, it becomes very creamy, sweet, and deep; I don’t see it for summer. The EDT I can definitely wear on hot days. I love both, and they aren’t similar.
It was one of the perfumes that accompanied me through adolescence, and I hold it in great affection. I wouldn’t use it again because I’m in a different life stage now, but when I smell it, a smile comes to my face.
It’s 100% juicy pear. Very delicious, linear, doesn’t say much but it never fails. Perfect for blind gifting. Medium longevity. In the end, it gets a bit musky, smelling like clean pear. Pleasant, perfect for spring/summer.
100% juicy pear, rich and linear. Not surprising, but it delivers. Perfect for blind gifting. Medium longevity; it becomes musky at the end, smelling of clean pear. Pleasant, ideal for spring/summer.
I went to try it at the perfumerie. At first, I thought it was disgusting, but after 20 minutes it started to change. After 5-6 hours, it’s beautiful. I washed my hands twice and it’s still there (I have dry skin and nothing lasts on me). It’s sweet, creamy, fruity, and floral, hard to describe. You have to try it, I’ll be buying it soon.
I went to try it at the perfumerie. At first sniff, it was a resounding ‘gross’… But after 20 minutes, it started changing, and by 5 or 6 hours, it’s a beauty. I washed my hands twice where I tested it, and it’s still there (and I have super dry skin; nothing ever lasts for me). It’s sweet, creamy, fruity, and floral; I can’t describe it exactly, but you have to try it. I’ll be buying it soon.
I tried it today at a perfumerie. They gave me a dry-down that didn’t grab much at first, but I smelled it for hours because it reminded me of something I didn’t know what it was until I figured it out. It transported me back to my 20s, club hopping, and my friend who wore Dior’s J’adore. At least the dry-down is very similar and they share notes (though this one is simpler). If you like that floral yet sexy style, you’ll definitely love it.
Over time, the projection and longevity are insane, but all I get is the musk, roses, and blackcurrants. In the background, there’s a cockroach-like note that ruins it a bit; I guess it’s the rose’s fault. Maybe they didn’t think it through mixing those notes.
