At first, it’s a blast of sweetness, very boozy, but after an hour the intensity drops and it settles as chocolate candies with liqueur. Be careful who wears it, because if they get too close, people might want to take a bite.
A perfume with an intense chocolate aroma and that liquor note that makes it interesting. Longevity is decent and it has a resemblance to Cacharel’s Amor Amor.
Thank goodness I know if it smells like real chocolate or that stale artificial chocolate.
I have to say, it disappointed me a bit. The notes promised chocolate, cocoa, ginger, rum, and coffee, but Oriflame got the uppercut this time. It smells more fruity-floral than gourmand and is fine if you don’t know the notes, because it doesn’t smell like it should. If you strain your nose, you catch some synthetic chocolate and a hint of coffee, but that’s not normal. I agree with Engel: it smells weird, similar to Cacharel’s Amor Amor, which has no chocolate or anything like it. The bottle is quirky, but opening it was a battle.
It’s gothic, intense, dark, and intoxicating with a very sexy touch. The scent is dominant but pleasant, featuring liquor and chocolate. The only ‘but’ is that the chocolate smells a bit synthetic, like a box of candies, but I like it. Perfect for afternoons if you’re into goth style, but not in the heat because it spoils. Definitely a nighttime scent.
Smells like chocolate candies with a cherry liqueur twist—what a great idea! I absolutely love it, though the longevity is short. It doesn’t smell like the original Amor Amor; that one feels more springtime and fruity, while this is dark and intoxicating. Very good vibes!
It’s very similar to Cacharel’s Amour, Amour; I could only detect the chocolate note for a few seconds, but overall it’s a pleasant scent 🙂 Wish it had better longevity.
I tried it via a decant: it’s a very rich perfume, the kind I like, with good performance and longevity. I noticed a strong similarity in the opening to Viva la Juicy (first version), and as it dries down, it’s almost identical to Cacharel’s Amour, Amour.
Chocolate filled with liquor, vanilla, a hint of ginger, and creamy sandalwood—that’s the rhythm I perceive. It smells sexy-elegant, a good combination, though it doesn’t feel natural yet. The bottle is small but eye-catching, appearing to hold less than 50ml. The reason I didn’t keep it is that it lasts less than 2 hours, what a pity.
A gem, for the price paid, it seems like pure gold: elegant, sexy, and bold. Ideal for a formal dinner or a night of passion, as mentioned, it’s perfect for nighttime use, but also works in cold climates or days. On my skin, it has excellent longevity, over 10 hours, with medium sillage; the notes of boozy chocolate with a touch of vanilla really stand out and feel so sensual. I recommend it 100% and give it a 10/10!
It’s a very common scent, nothing surprising, but it’s rich, like a chocolate-scented soap.
Oriflame’s Love Potion Eau de Parfum is a fragrance where rum, cocoa, and ginger really shine, with moderate sillage and 4-6 hours of longevity, for people 20 and older. It’s a delicious gourmand, best used in winter and evening, a scent that lingers on your skin, feeling sweet and striking. It’s a great fragrance.
I liked it when I had it, but its poor performance over time and weak sillage prevented me from buying it again. It’s rich, sensual, very dark, and slightly intoxicating. I think it’s extremely seductive, meant to be enjoyed up close. I’d say it’s suitable for ages 25 and up.
I loved it at first, but its short longevity and weak sillage stopped me from buying it again. It’s rich, sensual, very dark, and has a slightly intoxicating touch; I find it incredibly seductive and perfect for close encounters. I’d say it’s more for those over 25.
Beautiful scent, but it lasts about an hour at most, what a pity.
I got it for such a steal (€11) that I couldn’t resist buying it blind 🙈, since I’d never seen it to smell it first, probably because it’s not current. That bottle and name were so magical to me 🖤. But in the end, logically, the notes, the combination of them all, and….. Chocolate🍫…………………🥁🥁🥁. Absolute disappointment :’D. I don’t get why it smells like Cacharel’s Amour, Amour (which I hate); the notes don’t match at all..🤔 A mystery. In short… this perfume doesn’t smell like the notes listed. I kept it only for the bottle, which is awesome :’D, but if you can’t find it in your area or whatever… give it as a gift!
It’s very similar to Cacharel’s Amour, Amour, but with a darker, less sweet twist. Not bad, but it lasts a mere breath and barely projects. Given that, I prefer the original Cacharel, which has better longevity and a sweeter dry-down.
