  • It was one of those winter days when I was looking for something interesting and eye-catching. That’s when I saw the box with the big letters ‘SCANDAL.’ I quickly ordered a sample. First impressions: I hated it—too strong, an unpleasant sweet liquor smell with roses. I set it aside and looked for others, but none caught my attention. Hours later, while tidying up my room, I smelled a pleasant and exquisite trail on my arm. It couldn’t be; it was the arm where I had sprayed that perfume I so disliked. I smelled my arm for hours, wondering how a fragrance with such a strong opening could transform into a marvel. The next day: I went straight to the store. At home, after two sprays, wow—the evolution is tremendous. At first, it smells like liquor with roses, nothing pleasant, but within minutes it takes an interesting direction without losing impact or potency. Clean, sweet scent, between vanilla with light cinnamon touches, creamy and woody base. Really intense; I don’t recommend more than two sprays, and I even think one might be enough. I also don’t recommend using it in summer—or generally on hot days, because its scent becomes truly scandalous (hehe, funny) and can make you dizzy or give you a headache. I love it. It’s best for going out, preferably in open spaces, maybe dates depending on the venue. Truly a scent that doesn’t go unnoticed.

  • I agree with the review below; out of the three Scandals, this is the least cloying and repulsive. Would I buy it? Only in a 5ml decant. The scent is very sweet for me, but the geranium and sandalwood give the tonka bean a masculine touch, though it’s not the most masculine; the sweetness ruins the masculinity. There are better scents for men. Longevity: 4–5 hours (normal-dry skin). Projection: Moderate ≤1 hour (normal-dry skin). Scent rating: 6/10 (mediocre fragrance, cloying, but not as much as its siblings; at least it has personality). I wasn’t expecting much, but this one could still be redeemed from the excessively cloying and, in my opinion, repulsive reputation of the Scandals.

  • A more ‘mature’ fragrance than its EDT version. Still, it shows itself to younger people. – Not a beast in terms of longevity or projection, but anyone who gets close will notice a rich aroma. – Exquisite fragrance, nothing too complex. – Sublime presentation (box and bottle). – High price (I recommend trying it before buying). I perceive it as better for cold days and evenings.

  • I’d been looking for a while to get my hands on this, and my goodness, I couldn’t be happier. The scent is simple, dark, and evolves little, but it doesn’t need more; it’s addictive, sweet, and intense just the way I like it. I’ve had it for 15 days, and it has surprised me well with its longevity and projection. On my skin, it lasted over 24 hours, projecting strongly for 4–5 hours. I recommend it for nights, dinners, and dates, but don’t over-spray if you don’t want to overwhelm the people around you.

  • Juan Pablo Gutiérrez

My favorite fragrance to vomit on if I can’t help it—disgustingly sweet but fatally addictive. 11/10.

  • There are plenty of haters for this beauty. Compared to its Scandal EDT sibling, it’s a bit deeper and longer-lasting. If you don’t like cloying aromas, don’t try, buy, or judge them, because tastes break genres. For lovers of sweet and cozy scents, this will deliver great results: it’s rich, potent to a point, and draws compliments. Just don’t over-spray, and you’re ready to conquer the world. All Scandals share the peculiarity of being powerful and sweet—the name says it all: SCANDAL. Scent 8, trail 8, longevity 9, potency 9, compliments 10. This gem is worth it; don’t let negative vibes steer you away.

  • ampieruchi22

This is my first designer fragrance and so far my favorite in terms of scent (I’ve tried Versace Dylan Blue and also like it). I perceive it as woods, caramel, and exquisite fruits. The longevity is excellent—9 to 10 hours on skin and clothes (ideal for a trail). The compliments are incredible; I was overwhelmed on the first day. Should I recommend it? Yes, but I see it more for dates than parties. If you already have a youthful, sweet, and informal scent, this might not be a 100% replacement, but for special events, it’s perfect.

  • Top commercial fragrance; I use it for everything and always get compliments. Just note that it suits a younger crowd best.

  • I’ve been hooked on this Scandal DNA ever since I bought Mandarin Sky. Later, I grabbed King from Checkmate, but once I found a tester of this one, I was absolutely enchanted to the point of considering buying a second bottle for replacement. I’ve only worn it a couple of times, yet I’ve received numerous compliments. It lasts about the same as Mandarin (6–8 hours), and at the price I paid, it seems like a great deal.

  • I can’t be 100% honest—I’m obsessed with sweet, almost cloying scents—but this is true: it’s a guaranteed compliment magnet. Wherever you are or who you’re with, men or women, everyone will notice that rich aroma that makes even non-experts want to know more and linger near you. I absolutely love the vanilla notes, making it my favorite. If you enjoy sweet scents, my recommendation is clear.

  • A very rich perfume! I haven’t tried the original version yet, but I understand they go in the same direction, with floral and tonka bean notes, although the Scandal EDT is sweeter and more versatile in cold climates according to reviews. I feel it’s a youthful fragrance, for cold weather due to its potency (depending on sprays). It doesn’t leave much of a trail, but its longevity is beastly. Perfumes don’t last long for me, but Scandal Le Parfum lasted until I showered the next day. The tonka bean is very characteristic. It’s well known that JPG uses this spice a lot; at first, the opening reminded me of Le Beau Le Parfum but without the coconut and with a floral twist. I don’t see it as a formal scent, but rather special and personal, for going out to party or a night out. The downside is the projection, because after an hour you can’t smell it unless you get close, so it’s a personal fragrance. Another con is that it can be boring, because the scent is flat and doesn’t take turns; the smell of the three declared notes continues continuously until it evaporates. For me? An absolute 10! For young people, winter, or intermediate seasons at night.

  • SPH Le Parfum is what happens when the bad boy from high school returns to town in a suit: he has the same ego, but now he’s wearing cufflinks. Sweet to the point of shamelessness, with that dark caramel and soft leather note that doesn’t try to hide anything. Everything screams excess and sounds like a saxophone playing reggaeton at an etiquette party. It seeks to have you turn around to look, even if they don’t know if out of desire or caution. It’s vulgar with elegance, and that’s a rare talent.

  • esomeprazol

Scandal Le Parfum is a very sweet and masculine fragrance; it differs from the original by being more mature. Ironically, the Eau de Toilette lasts longer on my skin (+10 hours) than this Eau de Parfum (6 hours).

  • GiancarloVÑ

I liked it when I bought it, but over the days the scent became cloying to me; I decided to use it daily just to get rid of it quickly. Luckily it’s finally gone; I would never buy it again.

  • fedemenendeez

A perfume party, though I wouldn’t buy it again; I’d go for the original EDT. The EDT and parfum are the same style, with an almost imperceptible difference; this one is darker, less youthful, and doesn’t project as much as the EDT. Personally, I like a perfume that projects and makes itself known, which the EDT does more. Regarding performance, it lasts about 6 hours on skin with intense projection for the first hour and a half, then it fades.

  • Felipe Ignacio Flame

What this new version promises is to fix the EDT’s flaw: the dry-down. The EDT dries down too much into a unisex-leaning, even feminine scent, reminding me of classic ladies’ perfumes. Its opening is spectacular, but the evolution ruins the first impression. The new Le Parfum or EDP takes a darker, more masculine turn, removing that dominant endive note from the EDT. Although the EDP doesn’t have the same intense trail of the EDT, its longevity is much greater. In short, if you like the original EDT but couldn’t stand its feminine dry-down, this is the option. The EDP has a more linear and coherent evolution, without veering into such floral or feminine notes at the end. Remember that Scandal EDT comes from the base of the first version, launched for a female audience. Thanks for reading.

  • kevinbrand

This perfume lives up to its name—it’s an absolute SCANDAL. The opening is super sweet, like dessert, maybe a bit cloying, but perfect for parties or night outs; it makes people look at you. Sometimes I think it lacks projection because it fades after 2-3 hours, but people keep commenting on my scent, so I guess it’s just olfactory fatigue. Great option for winter and night.

  • Raktnaroz

Rich fragrance; I can’t really distinguish the individual notes (I did catch a hint of sandalwood), it’s more of an intensely sweet blend. I see this for winter/fall, nighttime, focused on gatherings or parties. Longevity and projection are moderate. Worth it given the price, I’d say it’s for people over 20, because even though it’s a party scent, it has a mature touch.

  • SantyArjona

Ugh, this is definitely the best in the line for me. It’s less sweet than the original and feels more masculine. I’ve gotten so many compliments.

  • Tomascasiriain

Amazing perfume, I’ve been wearing it for a year. Perfect for going out. It’s warm, sweet, and the most masculine in the line thanks to its woody and dark character. Potent enough to stand out, lasts a minimum of 8 hours on skin and projects fully for 4 hours, then fades but still throws occasional bursts and earns plenty of compliments. If you overapply, it gets cloying. To those who say it’s youthful, I don’t see that well in teenagers; the wood and darkness give it seriousness. It’s for someone over 21 but not over 35. Only for cold, night-time weather.

  • I own it alongside the EDT; they’re similar but distinct. The Le Parfum is floral/vanilla/woody, while the EDT is citrus/caramel/vanilla/woody. Both have an herbal touch. The Parfum is more intense, with a more pronounced woody and tonka bean drydown and a burning floral note. The original is more airy and projective. Both are caramelized, youthful perfumes for parties and clubs, with that aggressive nose-vibe that gets tiring. Owning both is redundant, though each fulfills its role. The key difference is the tangerine in the EDT versus the creamy, warm sandalwood in the Parfum.

  • Adreynuvi016

Smelled great at first, but eventually turned me off. I wore it on a date, and after some kisses, it became too much. It has huge potency and longevity; I ended up smelling myself.

  • Aroma acorde

This perfume makes you feel like the king of the party. It surrounds you with a 100% masculine gourmand fragrance bubble.

  • Perfumeslushin

If I had to define it in three words: caramel, edible, and cloying. It’s not woody as claimed; it’s a full-on night perfume for dates or parties in well-ventilated places. It smells great at first, but if you overapply, it overwhelms people. It’s delicious, I love it, and I’d buy it a thousand times over. It smells like a sweet cologne; although it feels aromatic at first, as it dries down it becomes even sweeter and that aromatic side disappears. It’s a perfume that makes you want to spray it a thousand times, but be careful. It’s fascinating and I totally recommend it.

  • What a beauty! Since I first smelled it, it’s been my absolute signature. Undoubtedly my favorite perfume.

  • I’ve tried all the Scandals, and this is the one I like the most. It’s super night-time and sexy, but honestly, it doesn’t project as much on my skin as I expected. The longevity is good, but the lack of projection is a dealbreaker for me; I consider it essential.

  • Bought it blind and had a different idea in mind. It doesn’t smell as sweet to me as people say; I associate it with Armani Code Parfum because of the shared tonka bean drydown and iris floral notes. It’s a good perfume, but I prefer Armani: it smells cleaner and more powdery.

  • I bought it about two months ago (November) thanks to an ML deal, and I have to say it reminds me a lot of the ‘Le Beau’ line in the dry down xdd (I had Le Beau Le Parfum and Paradise Garden). To the point, it’s a rich perfume with good longevity and projection. Since I like sweet perfumes, I don’t find it cloying. I’ve gone out with two girls with this, and honestly, they love this type of scent. Blindly recommended and 9/10.

  • Bought the 150ml version and it’s a beast for cold nights and open-air settings. Smells exquisite—sweet but with depth the EDT just doesn’t have. Lasting power is incredible, but watch out: if you overapply it in a closed room, you’ll get a headache within 30 minutes. 10/10, but only for special occasions and without going overboard on sprays.

  • Hello, gentlemen. It was love at first sniff; I didn’t think twice. It’s a unisex masculine fragrance with a very masculine dry down. The floral opening is dominated by geranium, which becomes slightly sweet thanks to the tonka bean. In the dry down, a very defined sandalwood appears, which on my skin is almost creamy, adding depth and softness. It’s designed to be enjoyed at close range, ideal for special occasions and dates. Although it doesn’t project much forward, it leaves an excellent trail, which is its strength, with excellent longevity. Later on, I hope to buy its EDT version. If you love this perfume and are looking for another with the same masculine and elegant DNA but more versatile, I blindly recommend Uomo Signature by Salvatore Ferragamo; I use both. On me: 9h longevity, 2h projection, 3h bubble, 4h trail, 1.5m sillage (2h). Recommended for dates, formal or semi-formal events, meetings with friends and family. Not for signature scent, nightclub, office, or sports. Recommended age: 25 and up. 9/10, masculine, imposing, and sophisticated.

  • In essence, it has similarities with the EDT flanker only in the dry down: you remove the mandarin, lower the caramel, increase the spiciness of the tonka and the creaminess of the sandalwood. It’s elegant, sexy, seductive, attractive, and far from being quiet; a beautiful journey to wear. Fortunately, and for the better, it doesn’t have the hype it deserves, so it doesn’t fall into reformulations.

  • Excellent perfume, the best in the line for me. It’s aromatic, woody, and vanilla-based, sweet but versatile; it can easily be worn with minimal layering on a mild spring day. Super rich and with 12 hours of longevity in my case. I super super recommend it for autumn and winter outings. Excellent note quality.

  • José María G.R.

Perfume bomb. As a perfume lover, I’ve been wanting this for a while, and my girlfriend gifted it to me; what a gift. It has a deceptive vibe: it seems like it’s going to be gourmand and super sweet, but it stays between sweet, woody, and aromatic, with an equilibrium that few have. It works for both formal and informal occasions. I’m in love with that undeclared caramel note, so well-designed. Longevity and projection could be better, but otherwise it’s a 10/10.

  • There’s something peculiar about this perfume: it’s rich and very long-lasting. I only perceive one note, perhaps geranium, which reminds me of a bitter spot like in Estée Lauder’s Pleasures. The good thing is that in Scandal le Parfum it’s not as pronounced, and I wear it without issues. It’s an aroma bomb; I love how the tonka bean creates something creamy and rich without showing citrus, although I do perceive mandarin. I understand why they say it’s similar to Mandarin Sky Elixir; they’re alike but with their own personality. I like Mandarin Sky more, but this Scandal lasts much longer. I recommend it because it’s a very bold and rich scent.

  • Honestly, I don’t get all the hype. Don’t get me wrong, it smells good and it’s not bad, but I see it as a very simple scent, nothing extraordinary. I’m not sure if it’s my nose, but I don’t think it deserves the fame it has.

  • Delicious and nocturnal fragrance, perfect for cold climates; wearing this in the heat is definitely not an option. It starts very sweet, but on my skin it’s not cloying. The longevity is incredible: 8 hours on skin, projecting well for the first 4, and it lasts even longer on clothes. If you like sweet scents, you definitely need this.

  • Truth be told, it’s a beautiful fragrance. The best part is that, being underrated, it’s not used as much as other JPG scents like Le Beau or Le Male. You’ll stand out and there’s very little risk of someone identifying the perfume on a date. Since I bought it, it’s my signature; I always receive compliments and they never ask what it is until I tell them.

  • djkonablue

What a beautiful perfume! Perfect for winter nights if you want to stand out. Just be aware that olfactory fatigue is noticeable; by the hour, you won’t appreciate it anymore, even though people keep telling you it smells like perfume. Watch out for blast radius! 3-4 sprays are more than enough, but if you want to really turn heads, 6-7 is luxury.
