Far Away Splendoria by Avon

To me, it smells like coconut and shea butter, just like those Coquitas cookies. I really like it, although I had just tried it.

At first, right after I got it as a gift, I sprayed it and the first 15 minutes were torture: strong and horrible. Then it became more pleasant. I let it sit for a month, sprayed it again, and now it’s exquisite from the start. Woody and vanilla notes. Lasts 5-6 hours with great sillage. Update 16/04/2025: I was blown away; it’s more macerated, more exquisite, and performs better. I’m not lying, I put it on at 9 am and it’s still super present at 4 pm. It’s a gem, I hope they never reformulate it.

Exquisite and sophisticated. I’ve liked it more than other ouds, a trendy note. It smells expensive, refined, and clean, like something for a CEO, paired with a tailored suit and high heels or ballet flats, to ensure you don’t go unnoticed.

I have to say I haven’t tried it on myself, but it looks spectacular on my girlfriend. Even though it’s unique, she wears it as her signature scent. I find it delicious. Even though my partner wears it, I wouldn’t recommend it as a signature scent as much as others; there are better options. It’s an Eau de Parfum, so it has good longevity. Although its projection is low, that invites people to lean in and smell closer, especially that clean white floral note that remains at the end. If you’re looking for a perfume that smells great, has acceptable longevity, and is extremely affordable, I do recommend it.

I’m not sure what the difference is between this white oud and dry oud; honestly, I don’t have any perfume with this wood as a reference, but I have to say what my nose (not an expert) distinguishes as wood: it’s fine, delicate, and elegant. I recommend wearing it on very cold nights, or it might give you a headache. It’s a complex fragrance despite the four listed notes; I feel there’s much more to it. If you don’t like dark, deep, and unique scents, this isn’t for you; if plum isn’t your favorite note either, think twice. I believe it offers more than it’s worth and smells better than its price tag. Despite being cheap, if your favorite sport isn’t blind buying like mine, try it before purchasing.

Smells good and high quality. At first, the oud dominates, but over time the gardenia and plum come out along with the vanilla. On my dry skin, it lasted about 6 hours.

Avon’s Far Away Splendoria is spicy, oriental, and woody, with gardenia and vanilla emerging as it dries. Reminds me of a mix of Far Away Royale and Rare Pearls. It’s serious, formal, perfect for evening events and cold weather. Moderate trail and lasts between 3 to 6 hours. For ages 25+.

Since I heard about it, I knew I needed a bottle. Here’s a niche perfume for just $15—absolutely spectacular. It’s versatile, elegant, casual, and unisex; a real gem for any occasion. The oud gives it that Arab-oriental touch, making it suitable even for men.

It offers more than it’s worth and smells better than its price suggests. If you’re not into blind buys, test it first.
