  Honestly, I don’t get Zara; I’ve seen perfumes that say not a word, and others that you can’t wash off even after a bath. In this case, Vetiverich surprises me with how molecular this collection can be, and this perfume is no exception. To be honest and direct, you might not smell it up close, but it’s easy to notice in the atmosphere around you. I loved the scent because it opens with a certain metallic touch and ends with a freshness that gives it a huge plus, very good. Don’t be scared by the vetiver at all; it’s not invasive or smelly like many label it. This perfume is a gem. I’ll try the other three in the collection since I already have Shamanilla.

  I don’t get Zara; there are perfumes that say not a word, and others that stick to you forever. This Vetiverich surprises me with how molecular the collection is; you don’t smell it up close, but it’s easy to notice in the air. I loved it: it opens with a metallic note and ends with a brutal freshness. Don’t be scared by the vetiver; it doesn’t smell old or invasive, it’s a gem. I already have Shamanilla and will try the other three in the collection.

  I went to Zara to smell and test this. My first reaction was: ‘smells like an 80-year-old man with several cartons of cigarettes on him.’ I don’t like it at all; it’s too strong for me. My friends agreed. It’s strange because then I see that reviewers love it… I don’t know if we’re the weird ones or what.

  Zara has a great collection with Vive Variations; almost all are top-tier. This Vetiverich is curious: green, mossy, fresh, and slightly sharp. Although I usually have my doubts about vetivers, I love this one. It starts citrusy and moves to freshly cut green woods, something very woody. The vetiver dominates but doesn’t bother; it’s warm and vibrant. You can detect the pear in the background, but nothing sweet or cloying. In short, it smells like a walk through a sunny oak forest.

  From the Shamanilla collection, this is the undisputed queen, closely followed by Vetiverich. A tip: apply it away from the skin, on clothes or into the air. I suspect it has a molecule that fatigues the nose; this way, catching the scent bursts is much more pleasant.
