Smells like mixing Le Labo’s Another 13 with Moschino’s Toy Boy. It has good performance and a moderate trail, and out of all the CDG perfumes, I think this is the one I like the most, honestly.

It smells like a mix of Le Labo’s Another 13 and Moschino’s Toy Boy. Great longevity with moderate sillage. Out of the entire CDG line, this is definitely my favorite.

Wow, I got a sample and came back for it the very next day. I fell in love, that easy.

Zero by Comme des Garçons is one of those fragrances that seem to say a lot without ever raising the pitch. Technically, it’s a clean, airy, and restrained composition that opens with a citrus note so subtle you wonder if it was real or just an illusion of freshness. What you do notice from the start is a varnished woody note, elegant in its rarity, but with no desire to steal the spotlight. It’s followed by a heart dominated by polished ambroxan and a base of musk and talc that evokes contemporary minimalist luxury: it smells like almost nothing, but like something expensive. Its trail is monastically discreet, and its longevity is more conceptual: it lives better in memory than on the skin. Although the structure is well-made, without abrupt turns or dissonant notes, the whole is balanced, clean, and aseptic, like an empty art gallery: impeccable, luminous… and a bit desolate. Zero seems made for those who want to smell ‘good’ without actually smelling like ‘something.’ Ideal for the office, interviews, hospitals, or any place where neutrality is a plus. It works as a daily signature scent in summer if you want to not bother anyone or disrupt the AC. In short, Zero embodies its name: an almost spiritual presence that’s there but doesn’t make itself noticed. Although technically well-constructed, it feels more like a visual experiment than a real olfactory experience. Minimalism taken to the extreme, bordering on olfactory anemia. If you were looking for something that doesn’t commit you to anything, here it is. Neutrality elevated to art or product.
