This is one of those perfumes you’ll miss forever. It’s very different. I’m trying ‘Contradiction’ to find something similar to the Very Valentino Eau de Toilette, which is much richer than the Eau de parfum.

The Very Valentino was my obsession while it lasted; they stopped making it, but I found its ‘younger sibling,’ Contradiction by Calvin Klein. What’s the difference? The Very Valentino was for the romantic, tender, and sparkling girl, whereas Contradiction is the same girl but with more audacity thanks to the eucalyptus. They’re hugely similar, sharing the DNA of the discontinued Very Valentino, and of course, they share a creator, Daniela Roche Andrier, which is curious since they’re different brands. Another fact: Contradiction came out a year earlier. If you miss the Very Valentino and don’t mind the eucalyptus twist, here’s a great option to keep enjoying it, or if you don’t know it, you can get a good idea with the Calvin Klein version.
