I love this fragrance. It seems fresh and elegant; long-lasting but not heavy at all. It makes me happy!

Original and unique so far. Fresh, sparkling, energizing, and long-lasting. I would wear it in the morning to go to work.

I own the EDT and haven’t tried the EDP, but for me, it smells great. It’s floral with a soft talcum touch (less than Kenzo Flower). The first notes I catch are citrus, chamomile, orange blossom, roses, and a hint of geranium, closing with sandalwood and musk over roses and rosewood. Everything is very light but lasts all day. The EDT lasts over 6 hours. Ideal for daily wear if you like feeling wrapped in a happy, pink talcum halo that accompanies you. I didn’t know it and bought it blind; it was a huge surprise. I live in a cold, dry climate and I love moving around with the air perfumed around me.

  • I really like the opening—it’s very 90s, almost smells like peach—but the dry down is a bouquet of white flowers that I’m not thrilled about. The longevity is a bit short; I guess it’s been reformulated. Still, I think it’s a great perfume for formal settings; it doesn’t overwhelm but leaves a subtle talc-like mist. The price is another plus, and the bottle is so vintage with those marble veins that it’s hard not to add it to my collection.

  • I absolutely love it. My boyfriend gave it to me for Christmas in 2015 when we were in Rome. My daughter always tells me this scent reminds her of Europe; we’re from Chile.

  • The scent of CERRUTI 1881 POUR FEMME is floral and very soft. It’s nearly impossible to distinguish one specific flower among all the ones it claims to have. If anything, I detect a pale rose and a very delicate jasmine. The whole thing feels like a bouquet of tender, innocent little flowers—tiny childlike voices out for a walk in the countryside, holding hands and afraid of getting lost. If you listen closely, you can almost hear their sighs and barely formed smiles, but the distant image of the ensemble evokes tenderness and innocence. It’s a romantic, youthful fragrance, perfect for gifting to that family girl who wants to smell elegant without overdoing it. The trail is soft and longevity is moderate. It can be worn in any situation, place, or season. The price is very affordable, making it a great option for everyday wear.

  • I don’t know if the sample I tried in the store had expired, because the first contact with my skin was horrible. It smelled rancid and old, such a strong scent that I barely enjoyed the other notes. Does this happen to anyone else? A few hours later, that acidic, saturated blow fades, leaving a gorgeous scent of white flowers, talc, clean notes, and roses that invades even the clothes with a very feminine trail. I’ll try it again at another store, because I don’t understand that initial smell that lasts two hours and even makes you cough.

It just arrived today in its 50ml version. I’m at the office, wrapped in an exquisite aroma of flowers so complex I can’t distinguish any particular one. That said, my handkerchief is so saturated that only a meteorite destroying the Earth could remove the scent. Haha. On my skin, it lingers, perceived moderately, but very delicate and feminine. I’m sure everyone I’ve crossed paths with has felt it. I wanted it for a long time, but since it’s one of the classic perfumes of my best friend, I didn’t buy it. What a mistake I’ve been making all this time… it’s like having her right here!

The 50ml version just arrived. I’m at the office and smelling such complex florals I can’t distinguish any single note. My handkerchief smells so strong that only a meteorite could remove the scent. On my skin, it’s moderate, delicate, and feminine. I’m sure everyone has noticed it. I’ve wanted this for a long time, but since it’s one of my best friend’s classics, I didn’t buy it. How wrong I was… it’s like having her with me.

  • I’d been wanting this fragrance for ages because of the great reviews, and finally I have it. While it doesn’t absolutely captivate me, I use it for everyday wear. It’s totally powdery and soapy, like Kenzo Flower but cleaner, with violets, lilies, and neroli that make it floral without being cloying. It’s intense and lingers on the nose for a long time. The dry-down is soft; the first thing you notice is the soapy aspect. I like it clean, but not powdery. I think it’s perfect for daytime, especially on those summer days with heat and rain that leave the air smelling of wet earth.

  • At first, it smells bitter to me, and I can’t quite identify the note, but the perfume itself is good and has longevity. It starts citrusy, becomes soft and floral after an hour, but on my skin it feels very woody, almost unisex.

  • It smells very fresh, with citrus and blooming florals, and a woody base that adds a pleasant touch. It lasts quite a while and isn’t heavy, making it ideal for daytime wear, though it’s not one of those that leaves you speechless.

  • It has me obsessed. Regardless of whether everyone likes it, it’s an example of what is no longer done. I suppose it has changed since 1995, but it retains a strength that many modern, over-enriched perfumes lack. It has personality. It’s affordable and versatile. Why isn’t it more popular? For the same reasons. It smells like 1995. It’s like a garden floating around you. Like with Josesan, I struggle to distinguish the flowers: maybe there’s mimosa and rose, but without an olfactory pyramid, honestly, I don’t see one. I seem to perceive a very ’90s peach that doesn’t appear on the list. The overall effect is powdery, but surprisingly fresh and soapy. It’s a serene scent, if that makes sense. Is this what’s in style in 2021? Well, no. There’s nothing gourmand, bright, or childish. There’s nothing that reminds me of others, because back then houses sought distinction. Today they follow the trend of what’s trendy. They’ve gone from imposing their own trends to followers of mediocrity, lack of identity, and creative boredom. I’ve been testing perfumes of all kinds for years. Isn’t it sad that a 1995 perfume comes to surprise me? I perceive it differently every day: some days it’s floral talcum, other times musky, a herbal soap with a certain bitterness, sometimes sandalwood peeks out, and other times the citrus wants the spotlight. It has a romantic and melancholic tone that’s hard to describe, but it’s a ‘positive’ melancholy; perhaps the most fitting word is nostalgia. Nostalgia because this perfume didn’t aim to be sexy or ‘coddle’ its wearer. I see a more elegant and professional vocation, understanding elegance as simplicity and savoir-faire. Classic without being boring. A steal that I’m sure would sell like hotcakes at a golden price if the label said Dusita or Penhaligon’s. It’s clearly a youthful scent, only the young woman wearing it now is around 45-50. I’m not saying a 20-year-old can’t wear it in 2021, but this young woman isn’t into taking selfies with pouty faces, listening to Maluma, or wearing long acrylic nails. Please forgive the Maluma fans. I listen to embarrassing stuff too, and I even enjoy it. The pouty faces and nails are another matter entirely.

It’s a sexy and sensual scent that awakens passion. I love it on a woman, a 10/10 aroma, feminine, floral, exquisite—one of those you never get tired of smelling. Recommended for any woman. Greetings!

  • This scent is my mother. She uses it non-stop since it was released; although she’s tried others, she always comes back to it. It has moderate sillage and brutal longevity. Plus, it’s ultra-affordable. One of the few powdery scents that doesn’t give me a headache.

  • I find it a very pleasant scent, clean and simple, nothing complicated, with a certain classic air, very easy to wear during the day. It seems to have an infinite number of notes like before; I detect a lot of mimosa and a powdery smell that lasts the entire life of the perfume. I think it’s suitable for spring and perhaps early autumn. It has moderate projection and more than acceptable longevity. I’d buy it blind if you like powdery scents with yellow flowers and want something simple without complications.

  • velensita

I enjoyed the old version, which was potent and long-lasting. A green, powdery aroma, not for everyone. The mimosa is very noticeable. It’s very vintage, feminine, and tender, from the Chanel 19 Poudrée family but more powdery. You need to be of a certain age to wear it; I see it as a mature, vintage scent.

I loved this fragrance! I say it in the past tense because the last bottle wasn’t the same, which saddened me greatly. It was one of my two signature scents for years, and I went through several bottles. People complimented me, and since it wasn’t very well-known, I liked feeling different. Suddenly, it disappeared from perfumeries a few years ago, and when it came back, it didn’t smell the same or last as long. What a pity with reformulations; although it’s still versatile, pretty, and cheap, it’s far from the original.

  • In a bygone era, I knew someone who wore this and claimed every movement smelled like that pleasant aroma. Powdery, soapy, and classy—a clean scent with lots of personality. It’s all-rounder, suitable for any occasion, and relaxing after a shower to prepare for sleep. It clings to the skin, goes unnoticed, and is ultra-long-lasting. What I love most is its dry-down and evolution; new trends have nice openings but sometimes fail to dry well. Highly recommended at a price of 10. Here we have the sample: to smell good and classy, you don’t need to spend a fortune.

  • I’m a lover of fine perfume and a collector of everything: Italian, French, Arab, high-end. But I study what I buy. When Nino Cerruti launched this for men in 1995, it was a hit, and later he created this beautiful one for women. I remember my aunts in modeling and film buying it; I’d steal it to go to school and smell like a haunted garden. Coming home from school, the perfume was like a shadow following me. Now I’ve bought it again, unreformulated—it makes me so happy! Cerruti didn’t give it the respect it deserved; he was too wrapped up in fashion and Hollywood, but this perfume was a success. I’m surprised by it every day: it shifts with the seasons, white flowers in spring, it evolves. Any woman can wear it, regardless of age. I recommend it 100%. If people say it smells different, it’s a knockoff. This one hasn’t been reformulated.

  • kirstzarmetze

It’s missing something; I just don’t know what. Maybe I prefer spicier scents or florals with a sweet heart. It’s good when you want something clean without being loud, especially if you wear a coconut or cherry lotion underneath. Perfect for those fresh early spring days.

  • What a pity, it runs out in the blink of an eye. I bought it in 2024. It has that romantic, powdery, lovely touch, but it’s flat—no nuances, no evolution. It leaves me half-expecting it to offer something more, but it never does. I won’t be buying it again.
