  • Rose, rose, and vanilla. I’m surprised they don’t list rose as the main note. The vanilla adds sensuality, and the anise cuts the sweetness so it’s not cloying. It perfectly represents Audrey Hepburn: elegant, strong, yet innocent. It’s potent, lasts hours, and you can smell it on the pillow when you wake up. Ideal for winter or evening. I’ve received so many compliments and it makes me feel great. It was my signature for years; I set it aside, but my mom lent it to me and I remembered why it’s so special. It can never be missing.

What a beautiful perfume! At first, it just smells of rose, then vanilla and anise. Over time, it softens and the notes alternate, with vanilla being the queen, followed by anise and a creamy rose. The patchouli isn’t noticeable. The projection is brutal and lasts more than 12 hours.

  • Major disappointment. I love Givenchy, but this rose smells different—not like the original or the Very Intense. I think the peony ruins it and gives it a watery touch. The vanilla wasn’t even present.

  • They sent me the purple bottle by mistake, but since I wasn’t going to return it, I tried it. It smells very similar to the Intense but is lighter and lasts forever. In the end, I kept the classic pink one because its anise scent envelops me more. A great addition to the collection.

I love this perfume; it’s super floral and sweet. Much better than its EDT sibling and more of a nightwear scent, but it can also be worn during the day. I don’t like the opening, but afterwards, there’s a delicious rose scent mixed with vanilla, which is what remains.

The memorable and romantic rose of the original Very Irresistible is here too, but the vanilla and anise notes make it very sweet, as its name suggests. It makes you feel sensual, feminine, confident, and capable of conquering the whole world if you set your mind to it. Perfectly for winter; in high temperatures, I think it would be suffocating. Moderate-to-high trail, noticeable but nothing vulgar or overwhelming. Longevity of 8 hours; I tend to reapply to revive its notes and just enjoy the scent itself. I fell in love with it the moment I encountered it.

I had been looking for a scent that defined me for years, and I found it. I bought it in Laredo, Texas, as a tester and fell in love instantly. It delivers everything its name promises: incredibly irresistible and sensual. It drives my partner crazy and won’t let me stop wearing it. I detect a hint of mint, but it’s pure eroticism.

It makes you feel sensual, feminine, confident, and capable of conquering the world. Perfect for winter; it would be suffocating in the heat. Moderate-to-high trail, noticeable but not vulgar. Lasts 8 hours; I usually reapply just for the pleasure of the scent. I fell in love the moment I tried it.

For many years, I searched for a scent that defined me, and finally, I found it. I remember buying it in Laredo, Texas, as a tester and falling in love immediately; it’s everything its name claims: Very Irresistible and sensual. It drives my partner crazy, and he doesn’t want me to stop using it. I detect a slight minty note, but the scent itself screams pure eroticism.

  • I had it a few years ago. Very intense, long-lasting, with a huge trail. I sense the rose as soft; what really stands out is the vanilla, which is my favorite. When I can, I’ll buy it again. Please don’t stop producing it, like they did with some other fragrances.

  • The perfume from Las Aparicio! Watching the Mexican series, I noticed Mercedes Aparicio, while talking about a date with her suitor in her sister Alma’s room, was all excited about how she was going to dress, and I recognized those little bottles of Very Irresistible EDT and Sensual. I won’t forget that scene when Alma (the sexy sexologist) watched Mercedes get dressed in a hurry and smiled as she took the Very Sensual and applied it to her wrists, neck, chest, and between her legs. At that point, I already had a 3ml sample of this fragrance and used it for special occasions. Definitely, it’s perfect for bold, sexy women with attitude. In itself, the fragrance makes you feel empowered to seduce. It reminds me of a casual dinner in Southern France, where anise is used a lot (I didn’t like anise until I met this perfume, which made me fall in love with it through my nose; I can’t tolerate it any other way. Excellent alchemy for seducing with personality, attitude, and sensual boldness…

  • Sexy, sexy, sexy! I love it so much that I know I’ll get it again. I find it sophisticated, ideal for feeling confident and turning heads (in a good way). While I wore it, people kept asking, especially men, what I was wearing. No wonder—it has so much personality. It affirms you, it’s an ‘I’m here’ made into a scent.

  • Sexy, sexy, sexy! I love this perfume so much I know I’ll get it again someday. I find it very sophisticated, ideal when I want to feel confident and turn heads (in a good way). While I wore it, people asked a lot, especially men, what fragrance I was wearing. No wonder; this perfume has plenty of personality. It asserts yourself; it’s an “I’m here” in scent form.

I bought it because my sister had one, and when I smelled it, I loved it. I got the 50ml gel version, and as a gift, they gave me a replica in 2005, right when it launched. I adored it and wore it in any season because I loved it so much. The gel version lasted forever since I only needed a tiny bit. I still keep that little bottle as a memento (in fact, it’s the only one I have) as a tribute to that scent I loved so much. I’ve been searching for that same gel version, but it’s nowhere to be found, not even online. I’d love to have it back.

  • Ever since this flanker came out, I fell in love with the scent; it was my sister-in-law’s signature. Every time she wore it, I’d ask what she was wearing; it’s sensual, romantic, and cozy. Its rose is beautiful, subtle, and delicate, yet very present; the anise and vanilla make it sweet without being cloying, while the patchouli gives it depth and magic. I don’t detect the peony, but I imagine it’s what balances the rose so it’s not as opulent as in other perfumes. She gifted me half a bottle four years ago since it’s hard to find, and I’ve only used about 10ml in that time. I’ll have to let it go, which is heartbreaking because I’m obsessed with the scent, but something in its composition triggers an allergy for me—I start sneezing and get a runny nose 😭😭😭

  • As others have mentioned below, please bring it back! It’s my all-time favorite and one of the most flattering scents. The trail and longevity are incredible. I used to wear it to dance (I know, lol, I wouldn’t do that today), come home, fall asleep, and wake up the next day with my pillow smelling like it. Sweet yet spicy rose, but ultra-feminine—a total bomb. Elegant, sophisticated, sexy, and feminine. One of the best from Givenchy. I don’t know why they discontinued it =(
