It smells exactly like the other YSL scents on skin. It’s like the EDP but with less spice. I don’t feel like anything changes; for this fragrance, the EDT or EDP is already perfect. It smells great and never fails, but it feels like selling the same thing at a luxury price.
One word? Dispensable. Two words? Very dispensable. And I’m a huge fan of the Y line. It’s basically a Y EDP with added mint; nothing creative or groundbreaking. The longevity has nothing to do with the EDP; being fresher and less herbal makes it much more volatile. It has the clean soul of the line and isn’t bad, but for 85 euros in Spain (100ml), it’s not worth it even jokingly. I only have some gifted decants. If you already own the well-known Y EDP or any from the line, this purchase is redundant. Only buy it if you own nothing by Y or if you really love mint. Even then, if you want that note, try Odyssey Aqua for 50 euros less.
For me, a good flanker should maintain the essence, add a distinct twist, and not be redundant. Y Iced Cologne partially delivers. It retains the clean, versatile DNA of the Y line but adds a green, icy mint twist, making it the most refreshing. The magic is that it smells like frozen mint leaves, not bubblegum. It’s ideal for intense heat and casual wear. However, if you already own another Y, especially the EDP, it might feel redundant. In my opinion, it smells better than the EDP: it’s pleasant, easy, and fulfilling. Do you need it if you already have another Y? Not at all; most people will think you’re wearing the EDP. It lasts 4-5 hours on skin in heat, maybe 6-7 with oxidation in temperate climates. Excellent if you don’t have any Y, dispensable if you do. This could set a precedent with this surge in icy mint.
It’s the Y EDT with a mentholated opening and more apple notes. I didn’t perceive those weird notes from the description. I liked it despite it not being much of a novelty. It lasts and projects well. The opening is pleasant. They just gave it a small twist. It’s like a fresher, more modern version of the EDT and EDP, which seem to be a fusion with those opening notes. I agree with most. A spectacular mentholated opening, then it dries down very similar to the Y EDP. Still, it’s a great perfume. If you don’t have the Y EDP, I’d go for this: a fresher, mentholated, and bitter alternative to the EDP.

Redundant launch. Basically, it’s a Y EDP with mint in the opening, which gives it freshness. Once dry, the scent is practically the same but with less sweetness.
