Vanille Exclusive by Mancera

I bought a decant with high hopes since I adore vanilla and the reviews were top-notch, but it totally disappointed me. The opening smells earthy with a spicy kick that’s quite unpleasant. I thought it might be osmanthus since I don’t own any other perfumes with that note, but it shouldn’t smell like that at all. The only positive is the longevity; it lasts until the next day, and the trail is a very subtle sweet vanilla. It’s a shame that the unpleasant scent lasts so long. At least it was just a decant.

I was planning to buy it, but seeing that only women have tested it gives me the impression that it’s more feminine than masculine. Plus, lately, vanilla is getting a bit overwhelming for me, so no thanks, although I’d love to try it. Since I haven’t seen it in stores to smell it in person and I’m not taking a blind chance, I’m passing on it.

It smells delicious; to me, it’s creamy vanilla with juicy peach and floral musk, exactly as it comes out, and it holds up well for a while. You don’t need more than 4 sprays because you can easily get saturated. I bought it blind, guided only by a reviewer who likes the same notes and perfumes as me. It seems a bit more feminine to me, but why put gender on perfumes? I think anyone of any age could enjoy it. The heat here is intense, so I’d only recommend it for fall, winter, and early spring, day or night, anywhere, just controlling the sprays based on the occasion. It has a great resemblance to The One Essence.

Honestly, it was one of the perfumes I was most tempted to buy blind; I read so much and watched so many YouTube reviews that I almost got discouraged. Yesterday, a sample arrived as a gift, and I’d say I would have jumped in blind without a doubt. It’s pure vanilla, what the nose registers as such, with notes that sophisticate it. It has a touch of Gold Prestige that I don’t like, but otherwise, it’s one of the few elegant and less rough Mancera fragrances. I own several Mancera scents, and only two don’t make me regret buying them in full size: Roses Vanille and Aoud Vanille, though I almost never use them; I thought I’d never buy Mancera again because my nose gravitates toward other niches, but this makes me wonder if it could easily be my signature scent.

This was my first niche perfume, and I’m really in love with it; it’s a super sweet, gourmand, and sophisticated vanilla, with a sugary touch that reminds me of a cookie. At least on my skin, the floral notes are deeper, but it doesn’t bother me at all. Don’t let the strength of the opening fool you; wait for its evolution. Its longevity is excellent, like almost all Mancera; on my hair, it lasts until the next day. As for projection, it’s more subtle and coquettish; I normally use it for layering to highlight the sweet notes of other perfumes. I think it would be a good purchase if you’re looking for a Mancera perfume.

I’ve worn it for 7 hours, and it was definitely love at first sniff. The opening is quite strong, so I recommend no more than two sprays covering both skin and clothes. It’s a clean, sweet, fruity floral; I love how the vanilla is handled politely, ending up as an almost imperceptible note. It definitely reminds me of Jasmin Wisp.

I’m glad I didn’t buy it blind; I ordered a decant and expected a well-gourmand and feminine aroma, but honestly, in the opening, I even considered it to have a masculine touch. Then, as it settles, I feel it’s more unisex. You can sense the vanilla, but it’s very soft, and yes, the white flowers like jasmine and neroli are quite noticeable. To me, it’s a softened sweet, more floral than vanilla. I recommend trying it before buying.

At first, I didn’t like it: earthy opening, then it turns delicate with vanilla taking the lead. It’s not gourmand; it’s dry, mature vanilla. In cold weather, it’s crazy: lasts all day, not cloying, and in dry air, it has a powdery touch. No one complains; it accompanies me without being annoying. One of my favorite Mancera scents for fall and winter.

I can’t change my mind: this is how it smells to me. Every nose is a world; both are sweet and creamy, but not identical. I’m talking about fragrances because I own 12 Manceras, including Velvet Vanilla & Vanilla Exclusive.

Today, this Mancera fragrance arrived; it was a blind buy and it turned out well, I like it. The opening is strong, the vanilla with white peach and whipped cream is very noticeable, lasts a few minutes, then the intensity drops to give way to floral notes, the one I feel most is violet, a creamy violet. Needless to say, it’s a beast in longevity, what incredible staying power Mancera has!!!! Many thanks; in these times, finding perfumes like this is like finding treasures. It reminds me of another perfume that isn’t coming to mind right now; I’ll edit to reference it once I remember. It’s perfect for autumn or winter days because it’s a scent that wraps you up, makes you feel warm; I imagine it with a scarf, mmm so delicious!!! Go ahead and try them; Mancera are amazing!! I give it a 10,000, excellent scent, longevity, and sillage, and on top of that: not mass-market!!! Edit: The day it arrived was warm; on cold days it changes and doesn’t feel as good… it smells sweet, but that sweetness is sometimes hard to identify, I don’t smell the violet, barely the vanilla. Don’t get mad, my nose is just like the rest, and I review as such; I like that they remove the magical halo and describe exactly how they perceive it because it gets closer to reality to decide whether to buy or not.

I’m not an expert, but my nose says this is magic. Upon application, it explodes: spicy herbs, pungent olive, and a strange touch that, seconds later, melts into whipped cream and brown sugar in an incredible way. I smell all three notes at once, something I’ve never felt. Gradually, a rich vanilla emerges, not too sweet, with a touch of neroli that makes it increasingly feminine, even though it’s unisex. After an hour, it becomes linear, dominated by vanilla with a faint trace of that initial olive. It’s a rare and beautiful scent that won’t suit everyone, but the longevity is impeccable. I tested it on my mom, and the initial olive lasted a long time on her. 100% quality; I recommend it if you’re looking for something this different and lovely.

I had read so many negative reviews that I hesitated to buy it, but a friend recommended it and I absolutely loved it. It’s an adult, dry vanilla—nothing pasty or overly gourmand. It’s very pleasant, wearable year-round, comfortable, floral, sweet, and fresh. You appreciate the sweetness of the vanilla, peach, sugar, and whipped cream, all blended very well with the florals. Compared to other Mancera fragrances I’ve tried, it’s much softer, but it lasts forever. I fell in love with it being a sober, distinct, and non-traditional vanilla; it’s super comfortable without being loud, despite the creaminess of the neroli. I recommend it if you like dry, adult vanillas. I’m very happy; it’s one of my favorite Mancera scents and I enjoy it 100%.
