  Overall, Lush and I don’t get along: walking into their stores stresses me out with the intense crowds and chaotic mix of colors and scents. I like vanilla, but only occasionally, so I’m not sure what made me grab this solid (probably just the urge to buy and run). I bought it before 2024, so it’s likely different from the current tube. Even though gourmands usually don’t work for me, I absolutely love this: it smells baked and rich, like a butter cookie; a friend even said it smelled like chocolate dessert. I didn’t notice the jasmine before, but now I do—a subtle, slightly dirty note that adds real interest. Would I buy the liquid version? Probably not, it’s too pricey for what it is. I prefer the solid to mix or wear alone: decent projection and, since it doesn’t last long (1-2 hours), it’s easy to reapply.

  What a surprise. I never would have picked this out, but I got a solid and I love it. It’s not a super sweet vanilla. It gives me vibes of a beeswax candle, buttery and plasticky… it also smells a bit like honey, even though they don’t say so. It’s a very cozy, warm vanilla.

  I don’t know why, but every time I’ve worn this perfume, it smells citrusy at first—not like Devotion, but more like bergamot. Then comes a very floral, vintage vanilla. I’m a huge vanilla lover; I adore Byredo Antique, but I can’t do this one. I don’t want to be harsh, but my grandma would probably like it… I don’t understand why I’m the only one with this reaction while others smell dessert, especially since my mother used to be a pastry chef 😂

The opening is pure dessert: sweet, warm, no fake icy vibes. It smells like a great bakery, almond cookies, custard, jasmine tea, and cake—all in a yellow bottle. You can detect pure vanilla with nuances: tonka bean with an almond touch and subtle jasmine, not distant notes, but ones that enhance and spice without losing sweetness. Verdict: I adore Vanillary and love being a ‘human dessert’ from time to time.

  I bought it a long time ago with the yellow and white design, just like on Fragantica. I bought it again because it lasts forever and I loved turning into a ‘human dessert’. I was looking for an absolute vanilla to layer with weak florals. The opening is pure dessert: sweet and warm, nothing of that cold synthetic vanilla. It’s quality bakery vanilla, almond cookies, custard, subtle jasmine tea, cake with essence, and more cookies. All in a little yellow bottle. It smells like pure vanilla with details: tonka bean and a touch of jasmine that aren’t distant notes but spice and season without losing sweetness. Conclusion: I adore Vanillary and I love being a human dessert from time to time.

The dry down is vanilla butter, spongy, slightly ambered with musk that gives it lightness. On my skin, it changes: the tonka bean becomes dense and dark, as if there were sandalwood (though it’s not listed). It has a wide trail, brutal projection for the first two hours, then a mid-phase of a different floral vanilla.

  The initial impression hooks you: vanilla and extra coumarin. Sweet but not too much, creamy and balanced, reminiscent of salted caramels. However, after an hour, my skin turns it into play-dough, ruining it (this usually happens with tonka). It’s potent, unisex but leans feminine, lasts all day, and projects wildly. I see it for cool nights, or during the day if it’s cold. Advice: test it first, because it gave me a rash on my wrist. Pleasant: 6/10, Interesting: 3/10, Versatile: 5/10, Original: 5/10.

  I first tried the shower gel and liked it, so eventually I decided to try the perfume. It smells the same, but on the skin it’s different. Maybe it’s not the scent I’d most want to wear. It’s not bad, but it doesn’t wow me. I don’t see it as a daily perfume to smell like this 😅.

  Vanilla always hides from me 😢. I tried it on my arm and, instead of vanilla, I smelled a nocturnal jasmine: sweet, delicate, elegant, and creamy with a soft trail. It’s such a sensual scent that I imagine myself as a bride wearing it. I’m not lying: I wanted vanilla, but now I’m tempted to buy it.
