Lush was born in Poole in 1995 as a company making fresh, handmade cosmetics. That origin is still noticeable in its perfumery: the brand produces its fragrances in-house, works with essential oils that it buys and checks directly, and offers perfumes alongside body care, solid products and home fragrances. Most of its perfumes are presented as unisex.
Karma is one of Lush's historic references, and the brand itself links it to the music of the sixties. Rose Jam shows another side, more focused on rose and available as perfume, gels and other products in the body line. The catalog thus combines standalone perfumes with families that extend across several categories, maintaining Lush's connection between scent, recognizable ingredients and everyday formats.
