  Kerbside Violet smells like Lush: artisanal, rare, and with a ‘hipster’ vibe—I’m obsessed! I got it as a Christmas gift and was surprised because it’s a natural violet, green, icy, and almost metallic, just like right after rain. It has a vintage 70s feel, strong at first, then turns tender and powdery without being sweet like caramel. It smells like a dressing room or a makeup counter. It’s versatile, fresh for summer, and long-lasting for winter. It has some polarizing notes, but if you love ‘oldschool’ scents, it’s a hit. The bottle is simple and the scent is complex, true to the flower without frills. I recommend trying it before buying!

  It’s a totally different violet from anything I’ve ever smelled: nothing sweet or powdery, but earthy, almost chypre. The problem is it lasts for such a short time, so the 45 euros for the small bottle seems like a joke.

  It’s a super original violet, though it doesn’t really grab me. Smells very real, fresh, with a strong herbal bitterness, robust wood, and a touch of talc. It changes a lot on the skin, so you should test it before buying to avoid regretting it.
