Simon Constantine is a perfumer and cofounder of ånd fragrance. He developed his interest in fragrances during his youth, and his passion for the art of perfumery led him to embark on a career in which he creates aromas for some of the most recognizable brands in the world.

Simon’s journey in the world of perfumes began at Lush Cosmetics, where he worked for more than two decades. He started as a perfumer and became the company’s head of purchasing and perfumer. During his time at Lush, Simon was responsible for creating some of the brand’s most beloved scents, such as Snow Fairy, Sleepy, Rose Jam, and Lord of Misrule.

In 2010, while still working at Lush, Simon founded Gorilla Perfume, a sub-brand dedicated to producing cutting-edge fragrances that challenge the boundaries of conventional perfumery. His creations for Gorilla Perfume were released as gallery exhibitions, featuring four unique volumes to date.

Simon’s passion for sustainability and ethical practices led him to cofound ånd fragrance in 2020. It is a fine fragrance brand focused on partnering with indigenous and community groups to promote healthy ecosystems. At ånd, Simon strives to create pure essential oils and responsibly sourced essences around the world, avoiding the cheap chemical alternatives mass-produced.
