It’s an olfactory delight, but I wouldn’t buy it again due to its poor performance on my skin: it starts citrusy and fresh, evolves into powdery vanilla with jasmine, but fades in under 3 hours. If you’re looking for fresh vanilla at a good price, try Oveh Madrid. Scent: 7.5/10, Longevity: 3/10, Sillage: 4/10, Value: 3.5/10, Versatility: 4/10, Packaging: 7/10. Would I buy again? No.
The first time I smelled it, I almost cried from how good it smells; it smells like heaven, absolutely delicious, though its longevity leaves a lot to be desired.

I found a tester from the Signatures Of The Sun collection and, after not trying the old version, decided to give this black bottle a shot. It didn’t disappoint: it’s a soft, velvety, realistic floral vanilla, far from the usual cloying sweetness. Heliotrope adds almond and aldehydic nuances, while the citrus neroli gives that classic Italian freshness that fades quickly before the vanilla and heliotrope take over. Jasmine and a soft musk appear later, leaving behind that defining powdery, almond-kissed vanilla. It’s elegant yet casual, not overpowering, and a total treat. Ideal for those who love soft florals; the powdery sweetness makes it unisex. Performance is average, and the downside is the high niche-level price. Don’t buy blindly, but if you’re a collector or can test it first, it’s worth it: it’s one of the best vanilla scents I’ve tried and will fill your fragrance archive.

The best vanilla on the market. Totally unisex and suitable for almost all climates (just be careful with sprays in the heat). Buy blind if you love vanilla and powdery notes. Projection at 2 meters for 4 hours, longevity of 12 hours.

AdP Vaniglia EDP is very similar to Colonia Vaniglia, almost identical, but with key differences: the citrus top is significantly reduced, the vanilla takes center stage as sweeter, and the white flowers like neroli and jasmine gain more strength, which I feel ‘muddies’ the evolution, making it heavier and rougher. It can get cloying, as happened to me. I appreciate that it maintains the quality and performance of its predecessor, with a similar profile but more unisex and feminine, excellent in cold weather and versatile. I owned it and swapped it out, but I recommend giving it a try. Rating: 7/10.
This vanilla has extraordinary quality: creamy and potent. On my skin, you have to be careful with the sprays; if I overdo it, it becomes too strong and can become annoying. I apply two or three in the morning and can still detect it at night. It has a woody base and floral nuances; the jasmine is present, but the vanilla is the undisputed star. It’s unisex, though with too many sprays it can lean slightly feminine.
For me, it’s one of the best vanillas I’ve tried. I’m not a huge fan of Acqua di Parí because they tend to be too soft for their price, but this has just the right intensity. It’s very floral, blended with heliotrope and jasmine, without being cloying, synthetic, or sticky. The neroli adds freshness, making it suitable for any occasion. The performance is good: I could smell it perfectly for 4-5 hours and then it lingered close to the skin for another couple of hours. Perfect for everyday wear, without being out of place at parties or elegant events. Totally unisex. Scent: 9.5, Longevity: 7.5, Projection: 6, Value: 5, Versatility: 9, Originality: 6, Overall: 9.
Too light. An almost imperceptible vanilla, very soft and very skimmed.
