Finally! A delicious citrus fragrance with a sweetness that lasts all summer. It smells elegant, clean, and sexy, totally unisex. You can detect the fig, fruity and sweet, but without being overpowering. I get a slightly vintage vibe with a modern touch.
Newsun
Initially disappointing: instead of citrus, it smells like bitter almond, almost like alcohol-free amaretto. It’s dense and very sweet up close, like a lollipop, but as it dries down, the iris emerges and it becomes cleaner. Even though it’s from the Blu Mediterraneo line, I can’t see myself wearing it in intense heat; it might be overpowering. Better suited for cool summer nights, mild springs, or autumn. Upon application, it feels a bit greasy, which is a good sign of oils. It doesn’t fade quickly and holds up well thanks to the synthetic base. Although it’s labeled unisex, I see it as more feminine. In summary, it’s not bad: it has quality, evolves nicely, and lasts well. Worth trying, even if it just doesn’t quite fit me.
