  • Fresh fig. If you love the fig note, it’s a fabulous option. It smells more like green fig or fresh leaves in the morning with dew, with a sharp freshness and a hint of pepper. When it dries down, it’s enchanting with that cedar and jasmine, becoming sexy and charming. A great option for hot days or mornings after a shower to feel revitalized.

  • The freshest perfume I own, by far. It has wonderful effervescence and longevity. When I feel melancholic, I put it on, and it completely changes my mood.

  • This has no fig; it’s peach or nectarine, basically lemon and a bit more with a touch of wood. The longevity is decent for a cologne, 4-5 hours, but it projects nothing. My girlfriend couldn’t smell it; it smelled like peach soap to her. I found it super feminine, synthetic, and of terrible quality—it gave me nausea. It’s a simple and cheap scent. LVMH bought Acqua di Parma and ruined everything. For me, forget it.

  • Wonderful floral scent with marked fig leaf notes. It reminds me of Diptyque’s Philosykos. Totally recommended.

Fico di Amalfi is the most recognized of the Blu Mediterraneo line, though the fig scent isn’t for everyone. It highlights fig, grapefruit, and white flowers with woods, ideal for warm climates. It’s green and citrusy with a tropical sweetness like passion fruit, informal and distinctive. It evolves to become more acidic but keeps its elements. I see it as unisex for hot weather, with good performance on skin and for informal situations. It doesn’t resemble other fig perfumes; it’s one of the best, alongside Diptyque’s Philosykos. Note: 8.5/10.

  • GammaPerfumería

It doesn’t smell like the fruit, but like the plant. I tried a tester that I liked, but when I bought the final bottle, it didn’t smell as creamy, and I think it lasts less. If you’re going to buy it, go for the testers. The scent is rich and unique. Update: my tester was from 2020 and this one from 2018; I don’t know why, but I preferred the 2020 batch. Having this batch is a gem.

  • It’s incredible; it literally smells like a freshly opened fig, hard to find anything more realistic. It’s delicious and a must-have if you like figs. The longevity is very scarce—it fades to skin-level in about half an hour, and the projection is non-existent. With decent longevity, it would be a totem, but as it is, I only recommend it at a good price and in a large format for reapplication. A missed opportunity.

  • This house’s colognes are masterpieces; they recreate nature realistically. Here, the fig leaf dominates the entire journey, very fresh and lovely. It finishes with a subtle woody note. It’s a beautiful unisex scent with high quality. The downside is that longevity and projection don’t measure up, but it still tempts me.

It’s real! At 17, I dreamed of rain in León, an old man, and a scent I’d never smelled before. I’ve been searching for that aroma since 2006 and finally found it in Fico di Amalfi. I’m allergic to figs, but the Diptyque samples opened my eyes. It smells incredible with rain, evoking that dream. Unfortunately, the longevity is short—it lasts about an informal spring breakfast—but it’s worth it. 10/10.

  • Herbal and super refreshing at first, then it turns more feminine. The price is great, but the longevity is terrible—it barely lasts.

  • CanaryIsland

The scent is incredibly rich; if you can find a tester at half price, buy it. I wouldn’t pay more than $100 for a cologne that lasts 30 minutes on skin even with 20 sprays. Those who rate it honestly probably only try it in the store and give an opinion; this cologne, like most ADPs, is incredible in scent, among the best. But they set their prices based only on the smell and not on the terrible longevity. They should cost half of what they do, and even then, it still seems expensive.

  • To start, everyone already says it: it doesn’t last long. But for me, in a perfume, longevity isn’t everything. If you can’t reapply and want to stay scented all day, it’s disappointing, but not always the case. If you can reapply or won’t be around all day, the problem disappears. You also shouldn’t exaggerate: yes, it’s short-lived, but it performs well for at least 3 hours. What matters is the scent. It feels very natural and balanced. At first, sweet citrus with fig leaves, which dry down into sweet fig and a faint woody base with jasmine that balances the initial freshness and the later sweetness. For me, it’s an 8/10, because clearly, it would make me happier if it lasted at least 6 hours on skin.

  • Exquisite fragrance, perfect for summer. While everyone talks about the fig or fig leaf note, for me—at least on my skin—the grapefruit note is more prominent, even as it dries down. Despite having citrus, it’s not that typical sharp EDT; it’s more complex and natural, blending citrus with the subtle sweetness of fig that gives it a fruity character. I fell in love with it from the first moment and it became one of my summer favorites; it brings me peace. The only downside is the longevity, but that’s common in these summer EDTs. In a way, it feels great to carry it in your bag and reapply whenever you want; it feels refreshing, ideal for hot summer days.

Let’s see: GOOD Scent, HIGH-QUALITY INGREDIENTS. However: THE LONGEVITY, Sillage, AND PERFORMANCE ARE A FRAUD. I WOULD NEVER SUGGEST BUYING THIS COLOGNE FOR OVER $100; IT’S NOT WORTH IT. I paid $75 and it’s a total performance fraud; I don’t recommend it at all, only for the smell. People recommended Calabria Bergamot and Capri Orange because they’re more citrusy and seem to last over an hour compared to this cologne. A $60 Eau de Parfum lasts 100 times longer… What a disappointment.

  • LosPerfumesDeJavi

It’s a fragrance with an exquisite, very natural, non-artificial scent. You can perfectly detect the fig. It’s perfect for summer and spring. It has a wide trail for the first half-hour, then stays close to the skin with a longevity of about 6 hours (at least on my skin). It reminds me a lot of Thierry Mugler’s Womanity Eau Pour Elles, though I prefer this one because it’s sweeter. Although the scent is excellent, I wouldn’t buy a full bottle due to its short longevity.

  • Very pleasant and fresh scent, perfect for spring and summer. It instantly brings to mind a hot day, dressed up and in a good mood, where this fragrance plays a huge role. The performance is good and even exceeded my expectations.

  • ignacio.gaete

What an exquisite fragrance, I love it. It’s refreshing, citrusy, and green, with a creamy dry-down thanks to the fig, a true marvel. For the first two hours, the projection is moderate, then it sits close to the skin for another 5-6 hours, like a second skin.

  • DaviniaTolkien

I tried it last year in the middle of summer, and wow… I expected a greener, riper fig, but instead found the pulp with the freshness of the stem. Wow, I loved it. It’s sweet, beautiful, and perfect for everyday wear; you don’t need to overthink what you’ll do, just soak yourself in it. Does it last a short time? Maybe, I didn’t know it well enough, but knowing its sibling Mandorlo, I doubt they’re ephemeral, but they’re definitely worth it. Personally, I prefer scent over longevity; if I have to sacrifice smell for duration, goodbye. I hope to get my hands on it someday, it’s not urgent or life-or-death, but I’ll definitely have it. Maybe it’ll be the answer when I run out of Mandorlo.

Fico Di Amalfi is like that fresh breeze hitting your face on a sunny day, surrounded by fields and trees swaying in the wind; it gives you a touch of lush green foliage. It’s a bright, natural experience—the beauty of green and white with light and movement. Just as nature doesn’t age, this scent doesn’t either: always young, lively, and transparent. If the good life had a smell, this would be its representative. It brings calm and serenity, a sign of good weather and joy. Despite its virtues, projection and longevity aren’t its strong suit, which is typical for Acqua Di Parma. If you have the cash for it, it’s a hit; if not, you might have some doubts. Scent: 10. Projection: almost 2 hours. Longevity: between 4 and 5 hours. I recommend it for the smell, but not so much for performance.

  • TitoChaqui

Tremendous fragrance. Really, it’s not what one expects; it has a very own and interesting personality. Before, I thought it would be a supremely green and mature fragrance, but when I smelled it, I found a tremendously bright and versatile scent. Better yet, more than versatile, it’s an adaptive fragrance. This scent gives you a serious personality when you’re in a shirt thanks to that clean and green smell, but it’s also capable of giving you an energetic and youthful personality when you’re in shorts. Citrus notes that point more to cleanliness and a fig that points more to the natural smell of a fruit than the green smell one might suppose the perfume has. In conclusion, a resounding yes for almost any occasion, whether you’re young or more adult; I’d be surprised by any context or person where this perfume would be out of place.

  • Wonderful aroma for the three hours it lasts on skin. It smells like summer, like fig, and like the fig tree. Just like when I used to spend summer afternoons in the family countryside home on the Mediterranean coast eating figs and brevas. I understand that this house uses many natural aromas, which is why I imagine their wretched performance comes from there. In my case, it’s a scent I love, but its performance makes it not worth it. Seriously considering looking for an alternative clone that resembles it.

  • Fico Di Amalfi Acqua Di Parma: I’m writing about this fragrance again that I’ve been using these past few days. First: aromatically, it transported me back to my grandfather’s old orchard, which had many trees, vegetables, fruits, legumes, aromatic plants, and herbs of all kinds… And coincidentally, it had many fig trees, and I remember their smell was very strong. As a child, I spent a lot of time in that orchard, and I’ll never forget its smell. When I use this fragrance, that orchard fig smell immediately comes to mind; it feels very natural, very fresh, and slightly bitter, but very pleasant. Definitely a good scent, and of course, it has its strengths, masterfully carrying the essence of its natural notes. It seems to smell like life, flora, and foliage, like weeds and the countryside, a totally herbaceous aroma where fig predominates. The fusion of this wild life and vegetation sensation with the citrus and woody parts is surprising. It’s one of the scents that gradually conquers you until you recognize its absolute beauty. Aromatically, it’s an 11. Now, regarding performance, something that commonly happens with most Acqua di Parma scents is weak. Not imperceptible, but it lingers slightly, barely noticeable, which is rare because fig is actually a very consistent or potent smell, yet this fragrance doesn’t reflect that. As a scent, it’s very good, but its performance is not so much. In terms of use, I think it’s a daytime fragrance for hot climates. Scent: 11. Projection: Limited, perhaps to 30 centimeters away and subtly for 2 hours. Longevity: 5 to 6 hours max. Despite the subtle performance, I recommend it totally.

  • Incredible and peculiar perfume. Does it smell like fig? No, absolutely not. It smells like the fig tree, the tree itself, and its leaves, with such realism that if you give it to people unfamiliar with perfumery, like I have, all without exception will say it smells like fig, but a fig surrounded by an orchard and green herbs. Pure countryside summer on a sunny day. Very addictive and evocative, especially for those of us who grew up in rural towns or neighborhoods surrounded by orchards and trees, with very warm summers. It doesn’t evoke the beach at all, but it works for any summer event, including the beach. You’ll leave an olfactory trail, and since it’s not invasive, it feels even lighter. If you like this type of aroma, you’ll enjoy it; if not, well, move on, but as an olfactory experience, it’s impressive.

  • Looking for a citrus-fruity scent that evokes the fig tree and is very realistic to the typical Mediterranean solar aroma? And that offers niche quality at designer prices? Well, I don’t know a better option. It opens with a bomb of quite refreshing citrus, and within minutes, the fig tree appears, giving a very realistic representation of a spring field with a fig harvest. It’s a natural and comforting scent, suitable for all ages and designed for summers and springs. It’s very versatile; its preferred habitat is outdoor maritime settings like beaches or pool days, but it also works great in the office during hot seasons. Elegant, sophisticated, and pleasant. Discovering something new? No. Is it simple in composition? Maybe, but Acqua di Parma had this collection, Blu Mediterraneo, very well thought out. The most reputable one is this. I bought the 5oz bottle for about $105, allowing you to apply it with joy and layer it because perhaps its weak point is longevity, but let’s not tell lies: what are you going to ask a citrus-marine-fruity scent to last more than 6 hours? Unless you’re looking for citrus like Atelier Cologne or Laboratorio Olfativo.

  • WilhelmRegu

From the very first time I tried it in-store, I was pleasantly surprised. This has been my first foray into high-end fragrances, surpassing the designer scents I already owned, as its natural aroma captivated me immediately. It evokes pleasant beach vacations, with an intense and citrusy opening that, in my case, projects quite well for the first two hours. Then it becomes closer to the skin but still maintains its presence. For something fresh and citrusy, the performance is excellent on extremely hot days, giving an unmatched sense of cleanliness. Precisely because of this, I wear it to both school and the office. I believe I live in one of the cities where perfumes are most affordable, so I managed to grab the 150ml version for just $75—an exceptional price. Undoubtedly, it’s a fragrance you’ll not only enjoy but receive compliments on. It’s my first review here, and I can affirm that this fragrance will stay in my collection. Although I’m not sure if it will be my absolute favorite, it is, without a doubt, one of the best I own and one of those I know I’ll like for a long time. Final rating: 9.4/10.

  • El Doctorazo

Fig, fig, and more fig. It feels like juicy, very natural fig. It smells incredible, but its major flaw is longevity: honestly, it doesn’t last me 20 minutes. Projection and sillage? None. I have mixed feelings because the scent is top-tier, but the performance is fatal—the worst of all my perfumes. I don’t think it’s worth it, even though it’s not expensive at all.

  • fouriouscat2

Fico di Amalfi smells like very juicy fig, just like that. It’s a sweet scent, but a tropical, fresh, and vibrant sweet, nothing like the typical vanilla-based sweetness. It’s a natural, juicy sweetness that reminds you of the pulp of a freshly cut ripe fig. At the same time, it evokes incredible freshness, like a sea breeze on a summer day. It’s truly delicious, and you can tell there’s spectacular quality in every note. I recommend trying it at least once because it’s well worth experimenting with this unique aroma. Imagine walking through a fig orchard on the Amalfi coast, with the sun warming your skin and the air filled with the sweet, green scent of ripe figs. That’s the feeling it conveys. Scent: 11/10, Sillage: 7/10, Longevity: 6/10.

  • StarlinCollado

I tried it out, and the first sensation is pure nature at its most vibrant. Ever walked into a florist shop right when they’re cutting flowers? Or that green, fresh scent when you pass a mower over freshly cut grass? That’s exactly how it smells, but with a more refined and elegant touch, without being aggressive. It’s not your typical summer citrus perfume; it has a herbal, natural vibe that makes it intriguing.

  • I don’t know how they fix this at ADP, but it smells incredibly natural, a mix of fig and fig leaf. With a sweet touch, plus it projects and lasts well, better than other Mediterranean series scents. I think it’s an excellent perfume, a wonder for sunny days; I’d only set it aside for wearing with a suit and tie.

  • I love that intense, citrusy opening where bergamot doesn’t dominate like in others; that cider cocktail is pleasant and opulent. Then the intensity drops, giving way to the fig that accompanies the rest. It projects for less than an hour, then lingers on the skin for 5-6 hours (in a closed environment). Ideal for spring, summer, and daytime autumn.

  • PacmanKinder

Beautiful! It feels super fresh, a super natural blend of the fig fruit and leaf.

  • I really like the fig note; it was the first perfume I found when searching for this note. I don’t regret it because ADP is prestigious and high quality. As many say, the problem is the short longevity, but the same goes for Philosykos, and both are expensive. Since then, I’ve found my favorite fig scent, an affordable niche option (45€ for 50ml): Alluring Fig by Theodoros Kalotinis. There, you get beautiful fig and fig leaf with better longevity and a fair price. I’m not sponsored by Mr. Theodoros, but if you like fig, research other options; there are many that explode with this note more intensely for a similar cost.

  • Augusto Enci

Describing Fico di Amalfi objectively would be a betrayal. It’s not just a perfume; it’s my summer encapsulated, my anchor to the land I love, that mountainous Mediterranean with hot stone. I was looking for a summer that wasn’t just beach and salt, and I found it here: summer in the interior, vineyards, and fig fields. It’s an elegant, vegetal summer. The citrus opening dissolves into a green, wet heart; the fig is juicy but not cloying, as if it were on the branch under the sun. The soft wood base brings serenity. Every time I wear it, I’m transported to that silence after lunch in the shade of a fig tree, with linen and time suspended. It doesn’t seek to seduce; it seeks to accompany. It’s not sensual; it’s a clean, subtle elegance. People get closer because of the scent; it suggests well-being and closeness. It’s my summer signature, reinforces my style, and slides on as if it had always been there. I’m eager to try the iris version, but this remains my refuge when the sun is high.

  • It’s rich and evokes summer. In the dry-down, it smells like Garnier shampoo and Zara’s Ebony Wood. But seriously, without exaggerating, it smells a lot like the fig tree itself. 9/10.

  • It’s rich; you can definitely taste the fig. Good composition and refined quality. But it doesn’t last at all, it’s expensive, and it doesn’t project much. For the price, there are better options.

  • DiegoSupertramposo

Stop asking for extreme longevity from perfumes like this. It gives a natural scent: citrus, a real sweet fig, and green fig like cutting rose stems. It evokes summer, vacations, the countryside, or a relaxed beach day. It doesn’t smell heavy or project to a distance; nobody wants that in summer, especially with warm or synthetic notes. If you want a trail that reaches meters, this isn’t your option, but if you want to smell different from typical summer scents, it’s a great alternative. On my skin, it lasts 6 hours and holds up well in the heat, which is enough for me. Rating: 6/10 longevity, 7/10 scent, 9/10 quality, 9/10 projection.

  • Fico di Amalfi is a beast—a fragrance that hooks you and transports you back to childhood. It reminds me of picking figs with my dad. It opens with citrus, but after 20 minutes, it’s just fig, green leaf, and a touch of sweet fruit. It’s so real that I picked a leaf from a tree and smelled it next to the perfume; they smell identical. If you’re looking for longevity and projection, forget the Blu Mediterraneo and Acqua di Parma lines; they aren’t made for that. But if you want an incredible, high-quality olfactory experience, you’re in the right place. On my skin, it lasts 3-4 hours. To those complaining about the longevity, remember it’s an EDT with natural ingredients, which are more volatile, but for the price today, it’s a must-have in my collection. 10/10.

  • VincenzoMaggio

Smells like a rich Italian enjoying the Amalfi coast. It’s exquisite and very different. 10/10.
