  • Honestly, a bit disappointed with this launch. The opening is marvelous, giving you the urge to grab the bottle and throw it, but better hold off. The first minutes smell like very green tangerine peel, like the Sicilian variety with leaves, a bit green and full of pith. Then there’s a marked mint note at the start, followed by a juicy part that seems like blood orange. Then comes the dry-down, and in my opinion, it loses its luster and turns into a generic, typical designer fresh fragrance. Just a heads-up, it still smells very good, but it’s an expensive niche perfume. A boring and common dry-down that, after that amazing opening, leaves me feeling like that famous Catalan woman fifteen seconds after declaring independence. What a pity. Still, I’m convinced many people will like it, because it’s not a bad scent, quite the opposite, just too generic for the price.

  • Just a first impression, but I probably wouldn’t buy it. You can detect the acidity of the green citrus and a bit of mint, but I can’t help thinking it has molecules that strip away the naturalness. I don’t know if I’m obsessed with the term, but that’s what I almost always perceive. The longevity isn’t high, but it’s noticeable for a decent amount of time, typical for citrus scents.

  • Great opening, very fresh and citrusy. You can tell the ingredients are high quality. As with all citrus fragrances, the longevity isn’t long, but it’s worth it.

  • Brutal opening, super fresh and citrusy. You can definitely tell the ingredients are high quality. Being citrus, it doesn’t last long, but it’s worth it.

  • Basically tangerine. Fleeting and shy. Compliments will only come from your mom or some pregnant girl craving vitamin C, and only if they bump into you, because it doesn’t project. A bloodhound would never track you following the trail of this overpriced juice.

  • It’s pure mandarin. Fleeting, shy, introverted. Smells like compliments, maybe like your mom or a pregnant girl craving some Vitamin C. But only if you bump into them, because it has no projection. A bloodhound would never track you following the trail of this overrated juice.

The opening is incredible, the best part. Citrusy, bright mandarin, right out of the bottle it’s a jolt of energy, refreshing, with luminous citrus notes supported by mint that makes it even fresher. It starts citrusy and green, then the mandarin becomes juicier with a marked musk base to denote soapy cleanliness. This drydown doesn’t stand out; being a good fragrance, it loses some charm at the end but still smells good. Like all AdP, price and longevity aren’t their strong suits, but I still liked it. Spray it on those extreme heat days during the day to refresh yourself with elegance. Makes me feel good. Performance is just right, 3/4 hours, moderate projection, unisex, and suitable for any occasion. Maybe I wouldn’t buy a full bottle due to the price and lack of uniqueness, but damn, it does what it sets out to do. In this case, AdP doesn’t fail.

Let’s break it down: first, you have to love mandarin in every sense—smell, color, taste… because you’ll smell like that, and honestly, I’m a walking mandarin (I love it, wearing it right now). Second, it doesn’t project much, but on a hot day it kept me fresh and cool despite 30 degrees in the sun. That test it passed. Third, the drydown is the most enjoyable part: pure Acqua di Parma DNA, simple elegance and cleanliness, without smelling like boring classics. It’s more modern, a bit sweeter. Fourth, I’m a guy and I wear it without issues. It represents me. It might seem generic, BUT the quality shows. I usually criticize hyped stuff and say niche brands charge too much for what others do cheaper. True. But at AdP, there’s a savoir-faire I haven’t smelled in other houses, a real style. They go where they go and it’s well-made. It’s so well-made that I, who hated citrus, bought the bottle because I fell in love. A citrus scent like this, I’m keeping it. It’s not original, but damn, it smells too good. Lasts a decent amount of time on my skin.

The opening is incredible, the best part. Citrusy, bright orange, freshly sprayed, it’s a refreshing energy boost with luminous citrus and a mint that makes it even fresher. Gradually, the orange becomes juicy over a marked musk base that suggests soapy cleanliness. The drydown isn’t standout; it loses some charm but still smells good. As an ADP, price and longevity aren’t its strong suits, but I liked it. Perfect for extreme daytime heat to refresh with elegance. It makes me feel good. Lasts about 3-4 hours with moderate projection, unisex, and suitable for any occasion. Maybe I wouldn’t buy a bottle due to the price and lack of originality, but it does what it sets out to do. ADP doesn’t fail here.

Let’s break it down: first, you have to love orange in scent, color, and taste, because you’re going to smell like that, and it’s better if you feel like a walking orange (I love it, I’m wearing it now). Second, it doesn’t project much, but on a 30-degree sunny day, it kept me smelling good and fresh; that test is passed. Third, the drydown is even more enjoyable: simple elegance and cleanliness from ADP, not the classic vibe that sometimes feels old; this drydown is more modern and slightly sweeter. Fourth, I’m a guy and I wear it without issues. I enjoy the orange scent and it represents me. It might seem generic, but the quality shows. I agree that niche houses charge too much for what others do at a fraction of the price, but at ADP, there’s a savoir-faire I haven’t heard from other houses, a real style, not just hype-chasing. It’s so well-made that even though I hated citrus, I bought the bottle and fell in love. A citrus like this, I’ll wear it. It’s not original, but it smells too good. It lasts quite a while on my skin.

This is the perfume that got me the quickest comment, and it wasn’t entirely positive: ‘you smell like toothpaste.’ My brother confirmed it smelled like basic three-color toothpaste. I don’t know why, but it seems to remind people of dental products. So far, it hasn’t earned a single compliment, not even from someone who always says I smell good.

  • Orange in all its glory: if you don’t love the fruit, skip this. It’s one of the few citrus scents that lasts 8 hours on skin and clothes. It starts bright and green, but the green fades to leave a pure orange peel scent. It doesn’t evolve, but it’s not annoying either; perfect for the office or extreme heat. It’s super original and offers performance that few citrus scents can match.

Straight orange, no more, no less. No evolution, no nuances, just pure orange. It lasts long enough for an ADP citrus and is in my collection. I like it, but I haven’t found the perfect occasion to wear it yet.
