Smells super clean, very fresh and floral
Floral, woody, powdery, and subtle; feminine and fresh, even crisp, but without any citrus. It has distinct spicy notes dominated by pink pepper. I think it’s ideal for daily use with a relaxed and charming touch.

Effortless in the true Burberry style. Perfumers Ropion and Polge rarely miss: The Beat is light but very current, not for elegant events, but it’s an elegant scent in itself. This is my latest purchase and I was captivated by its originality at first sniff. The pink pepper is spicy but softens, giving way to the freshness and sweetness of citrus; it’s refreshing and energetic. On my skin, it’s a sweetness that isn’t cloying, then you feel the freshness of tea and something that seems like lilies or bells. In the end, it leaves a scent very close to the skin, powdery, enveloping, and soft. Its longevity and sillage are moderate, but I don’t mind reapplying it because it’s soft and delicate, perfect for spring and summer. Another thing I like is that it’s not overused, at least not here.

It arrived as a rebound purchase and I love it. It’s soft, not floral, not talc-like, nor woody, but balanced between all three. To me, it smells a bit like chamomile, very pleasant.

It’s a delight! I bought it blind based on the price and absolutely loved it. I’m saving it for hot days because it smells like a sweet breeze with grassy notes and a playful chamomile touch. It lasts a long time on my skin, even after washing several times. That green note didn’t come off as cloying to me; quite the opposite, I loved it and highly recommend it. It’s my first Burberry and I’m fascinated.
