Romance is a characterful perfume with a potent floral opening. Hyacinth, jasmine, and sandalwood form the base of this fragrance. They evolve from start to finish (14 hours on my skin), blending with the fruits and flowers, especially the rose, releasing the scent of spring. My first impression was that I already knew it—a familiar aroma tied to my teenage years and the month of September, when the first jasmine blooms. Definitely a vintage scent; it reminds me of Cacharel’s Anais Anais, but with better longevity and more punch. If you love jasmine and roses, you’ll adore this.
