Descripción
Aramis Havana Reserva is a spicy woody fragrance for men. Launched in 1996, this composition was created by perfumer Edouard Flechier. Its olfactive structure unfolds with citrus, tangerine orange, and coriander in the top notes; spices, cedar, vanilla, and jasmine in the heart; and tobacco, leather, sandalwood, and woody notes in the base.

The bottle looks gorgeous and the packaging is great too, but compared to the original 1994 Aramis Havana, this version feels overdone. It smells much more intrusive and strong, so I wouldn’t recommend it for tropical climates; I still prefer the 1994 version.
My dad passed this down to me years ago. I’m not entirely sure if it was called ‘Reserva’ exactly, since it sometimes appears online and other times it doesn’t, but this is the real bottle. He used it occasionally and I loved it. Very interesting aromas with great longevity.
This lotion belonged to my dad years ago. I’m not sure if it was called ‘Reserva’ exactly, since it sometimes appears online and other times it doesn’t, but this is the bottle. He used it occasionally and I ended up loving it a lot. They have very interesting aromas and are extremely long-lasting.
The undisputed king of party perfumes.
Scent: God-tier level. Projection: very good. Longevity: excellent. Quality: excellent. Blind buy: yes, yes, yes. 10/10, the best fragrance of all time. Now it’s in a new presentation and formula; it seems identical to the original, but my memory says it’s not quite the same.

Seen photos and read about the relaunch; I’m hoping to run into it soon. It’s one of my favorite 90s scents. My dad got it as a gift back then, but he had an allergic reaction, so he passed it to me. I absolutely loved it (I still keep the bottle with some left, just like I do with my other favorites, to remind myself of it occasionally). It was fresh but not that spicy-mentholated aftershave vibe; it had a humid jungle freshness. The citrus notes were amazing, coexisting in perfect balance with jasmine and vanilla, and the dry-down was also fresh; the sandalwood and cedar felt like leaves or branches freshly plucked from the tree. As for the tobacco, I confirmed this firsthand: it’s not dry processed tobacco, but fresh-cut green tobacco that keeps some of that other tobacco character but with a dominant ‘green’ note I haven’t found in any other fragrance. Totally masculine with huge longevity and sillage, typical of that era. It vanished from stores so fast that it was impossible to get again. Except for the classic Aramis men’s scents, the rest of the brand is pretty hard to find in Argentina. I’ll keep my radar on alert for this relaunch.
