What a crazy fragrance… How is it possible it has no reviews??? It deserves to be rated excellent. Upon application, the opening is the typical rose from distilled waters used as tonics in Morocco. Within seconds, red wine, balsamic truffle, geranium, and pelargonium appear. These notes come and go for a few hours before giving way to a fruity rose with woody hints and a wine aroma that makes the difference. Excellent quality, evolution, and performance. Lasts all day without issues. It’s a true niche fragrance, here I take off my hat. The only thing I don’t like is that they classify it as feminine; this rose is in fragrances like Declaration de un Soir by Cartier or Toy Boy by Moschino, so it’s absolutely unisex.
Bouquets of the highest quality roses. It’s herbal and arranged, natural but crafted by expert florist hands; they’ve stripped away the earth without adding shiny sprays or artifices. After trying several favorite roses like Experimentum Crucis, Portrait of a Lady, Radical Rose, and Une Rose, I confirm they are intense, warm, natural, and herbal scents with thorns, read from an Arab style perspective.
The queen of perfumery has always been the rose, but usually competes with other ingredients like oud, patchouli, or vanilla. Here, however, she is her majesty in full bloom, accompanied by almost nothing. There are only subtle nuances supporting it, with the wine accord in the heart being the most notable, adding an interesting acidic tone. I don’t dislike it; it reminds me a bit of Santi Burgas or Aroma de Hormiguero with earthy touches. I adore this scent, pure rose. 8 hours of longevity projecting very well at the start. A masterpiece.
Une Rose was discontinued in 2022 and is now ROSE TONNERRE. After the claws of IFRA and the ban on the molecule Kanaral, F.M. had to rebuild the formula. Kanaral, discovered in 1987, was a dry amber note with fruity nuances, banned in Europe starting August 27, 2023. Goodbye Une Rose, hello ROSE Tonnerre.
What a fantasy! What a smell, what roses, what sensuality… I bought POAL and they gave me a sample of this amazing perfume. It’s such a beautiful, well-crafted rose. I’m not usually a rose perfume person, but this one has something special, maybe the castoreum note that makes it addictive. 10/10.
Holy moly, almost died of pleasure… it’s a rose but in another dimension, I’ve never smelled anything so spectacular (works for all families). Without a doubt, nothing surpasses this. The problem? It’s super chic, impossible to wear unless you’re dressed in haute couture. Ultra feminine.
