  Bought blind… It’s a weird mix. At first, the tangerine comes out overripe, on the verge of spoiling, like very bitter jam. Then notes clash; I struggle to distinguish them; the greens bump into the woods and saffron. The rose takes forever to emerge, very shy. I’ll have to get used to this warm, creamy, yet discordant fragrance. It has moderate to light sillage but lasts about 7 hours. A strange purchase, totally unisex. I don’t love it but I don’t hate it either; I’ll wear it when it’s cooler to see if it wins me over. Sometimes it wants to be warm, other times green, other times spicy; in the end, you don’t know what it is… Always test before buying blind, it’s a rare one.

  It comes with orange and roses, but there’s a sharp edge that prevents me from enjoying the notes. I’m not sure if it’s the ginger; it smells old and strange. It drowns out the rest of the perfume; it’s abrupt and noticeable half an hour after application. I expected something sweeter but not cloying, with honey, hazelnuts, and vanilla, but none of that shows up anywhere. I had three other people try it, and like me, they find it unbearable and just smell bad. It’s not my bad taste; I bought it blind based on the notes. What a shame Lancôme created this. I don’t know what I’ll do with it—maybe try it on a man to see how it behaves, otherwise I’ll toss it (not as a room freshener, haha). By the way, I had to get in the shower to stop smelling it. I applied Delina instead, which actually smells like elegant, powdery, and lovely roses.
