  1. * Updated review after deciding to keep the bottle * Definitely not a scent for shy people or those seeking soft trails. Oud Ambroisie is a potent, honeyed floral oud with a strong personality; it has just the right amount of sweetness to dress anyone up in elegance (yes, in my opinion, it’s very unisex). It starts with a sharp, slightly boozy oud that takes a moment to digest, but within seconds it calms down and blends with pure, fresh honey, followed by Lancome’s exquisite rose. As it dries down, the rose and honey take center stage; I’d say there’s a hint of vanilla adding creaminess and more sweetness, and sometimes I even detect a spicy note, as if they’ve burned some incense… there must be some hidden oriental nuance. In short, it’s a dense, skin-persistent fragrance that lasts all day; even now, after 48 hours without applying it (and showering twice), I can still smell traces on my wrist. I’d ideally wear it at night, at a party or formal event, though very cold days wouldn’t be an exception.

  3. It reminds me a bit of Ferrari Oud. Just more polished, finer, higher quality, and sweeter. It’s not bad, but these combos are already heavily overused.

  4. Warm woody with a sweet touch. It’s a complex perfume, not because of the number of notes, but because of its character. At first, it smells of alcohol and typical Lancome oud, but then the alcohol fades and a balanced, realistic honey emerges. The blend becomes warmer and deeper, with a rose incense aroma (if there is such a thing). It’s mysterious, elegant, and very unisex. In my judgment, it fits perfectly for formal and evening events.
