Descripción

Nina L'Elixir by Nina Ricci is a fruity floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2010, this composition was created by perfumer Olivier Cresp. The top notes evoke Amalfi lemon and caipirinha; the heart unfolds with red berries, jasmine, and caramelized apple; while the base notes settle on musk, amber, and cedar.

  • I tried it and liked it quite a bit; it’s sweet but not cloying, quite youthful and delicious for the afternoon or for everyday wear; I’d buy it without a second thought.

I really like the scent and the bottle is quite youthful, but personally I think it doesn’t last very long.

I love the scent and the bottle is super youthful, but watch out: personally, it doesn’t last at all.

It’s a fruity and slightly sweet perfume I’ve had for years. Although I must say that given the high price and poor longevity on the skin, it’s cheaper to buy Britney Spears’ Fantasy, which lasts about the same amount of time…

  • When I first sprayed it, it smelled a lot like the original apple, but in less than three minutes it changed: it became pure caramelized lemon, like we’d dipped it in red syrup… very sweet and sour, somewhat synthetic and musky at the end. I didn’t detect any flowers. It makes me think of rock-and-roll looking girls or young women who love candies and sour gummies, with sharp comments but a sweet and friendly heart 🙂 Emo? 🙂 Anyway, even though I don’t dislike it, I’ll stick with the original and other flankers.

Huge mistake for me. I suspect I bought a fake because it lasts NOTHING, not even half an hour. At first, it smells very alcoholic. It’s a simple scent, just flowers and citrus. Bad purchase on my part.

This perfume is a major mistake for me. I suspect the one I bought might be fake because it doesn’t last at all, not even half an hour. The scent at first smells very alcoholic. It’s a simple scent, just flowers and citrus. A bad purchase on my part.

  • I absolutely love the scent; it’s super delicious and I always spray it on my clothes to make it last longer, although it’s not that kind of perfume that you smell all day long—I wish it were. For anyone who likes berry scents with a tiny citrus twist, you’re going to love this! 🙂

I wore this in 2012 when it was accidentally given to me instead of Nina. It smells the same to me, even though the notes say otherwise; it’s just a bit sweeter. I was surprised by Azuriiita’s review, which is spot on: ‘Makes me think of rock-and-roll looking girls or young women who love candies and sour gummies, their comments are sharp… but they have a sweet and friendly heart 🙂 Emo? :)’. I only had a small bottle, but I liked it.

  • Perfect perfume for autumn and winter; it’s my favorite, very sweet but not cloying, lasts hours and hours, suitable for all ages, I never get tired of the scent, delicious. I LOVE IT.

  • It’s one of my daily wear perfumes in autumn or winter. On me, it smells like red apple with jasmine, but the finishing touch is the musk. By the way, it lasts quite a while and leaves a rich, sweet trail without being overwhelming.

Teamwork and friendship. Just by looking at the notes of L’Elixir, I thought I’d find a perfume that would surpass Ricci Ricci in terms of minimalism and illustrated conformity. However, the exceptional harmony among its few components saved L’Elixir from being inferior to Nina (which is quite easy to beat). L’Elixir is like a genetically engineered apple designed to have a citrus flavor, but unlike Monsanto, this GMO doesn’t cause health damage; on the contrary, L’Elixir is a friendly, subtle fragrance, suitable for various climates, and in strange situations, it can even become suffocating. L’Elixir is, in childish terms, like an oral school presentation done by 4 best friends who worked hard as a team to get a good grade, only that in L’Elixir’s case, the lemon, berries, musk, and jasmine are enhanced, combined, harmonized, structured, and fight the world with friendship and loyalty. L’Elixir is jovial, wearable, and fun (but I’m afraid it’s trivial), I perceive it as the perfect fragrance to ‘Go out with your best friend or bestie’ (I’m afraid that if their friendships have turned into formal or professional relationships, they won’t understand what I’m talking about). The humility of the trail but good longevity allow L’Elixir to stand its ground at the price it sells for (which is not cheap). However, it ended by saying it only suits me because it lacks in dimension and originality, being completely noticeable that it belongs to the ‘Nina’ line (on the other hand, in my opinion, this fragrance doesn’t even reach the heels of Nina L’eau).

  • A soft fragrance, so it doesn’t last a bit. When I wear it normally, I reapply 3 to 4 times a day. It smells like caramelized apple, a bit powdery, with a floral base. The usual question: would I buy it again? Yes, though with so many Nina variants, I’d prefer to try others.

  • Lima Limón

A very soft fragrance that doesn’t last at all. When I use it normally, I reapply it 3-4 times a day. It smells slightly talc-like caramelized apple with a floral base. The usual question: would I buy it again? Yes, but with so many Nina variants, I’d prefer to give others a chance.

  • I really liked this fragrance. It starts citrusy, with a very noticeable lemon, followed by caramelized apple. But it didn’t last at all; I tested it on my skin and it disappeared by the hour. It’s a pity it lacks longevity. I’m not going to buy it; I like perfumes that last and have good projection, and this isn’t the case. I’ll try the classic Nina to see if I’m luckier.

  • I still remember the day we went to buy it with my mom; we were looking for another perfume (with equally attractive packaging and aimed at the same age group), but it was out of stock, so they showed me this Nina version and I decided to give it a chance, plus it was a very special gift… and when I smelled it, to my surprise, I loved it!!! That’s how my ‘relationship’ with Nina began. Its scent: caramelized apple and apple in all its glory. I loved it for night, for a date, a special moment—since on my skin it lasts for several hours with an intense scent, which is what I look for. And its song performed by Flo Rida (for the commercial where she also appears) was a hit, with its catchy melody… waking up in a magical forest full of apples and chasing a slippery little apple to finally hold the Elixir of Nina in your hands. Its lyrics partly went like this: …I know a girl From a fantasy A world of rainbows and mystery Close your eyes Sunday Girl …Hurry up Hurry up and wait Until the sun comes up And breaks the day Cherry trees And honey bees Wont you come and hide with me …Hey, I saw your guy Under the apple tree He said hold tight and come with me Run and fly Sunday Girl

Let me talk about this little apple and I hope no one takes offense. With that beautiful bottle, I expected something striking—oh surprise! It didn’t seem pretty to me; it’s too simple, not simple-minded, but just plain SIMPLE. It comes out very citrusy with a hint of apple, but the sensation fades quickly, leaving only a cherry candy scent, like the Tutsi Pop palette from Mexico. Why buy perfume to smell like candy? L’Elixir surprised me, but not for the better. Why buy perfume to smell like a candy palette? It doesn’t feel youthful to me; it seems more like a little girl’s scent, even though perfumes don’t have an age—that’s what comes to mind. It feels like it was created during a late-night work meeting: someone said, ‘Alright, let’s mix these four notes, add lots of sugar, and we’re done.’ When I smell like this, I miss the creations of the past: complex, full of nuances, surprises, and magic. I’m sorry to say I didn’t like L’Elixir at all, and on top of that, its longevity and projection are very low.

Now let’s talk about this little apple and I hope no one takes offense. With such a beautiful bottle, I expected a striking perfume, and oh surprise! It didn’t seem nice to me; it’s too simple, not simple in a good way, but just plain simple. The opening is very citrusy and I sense a bit of apple, but the feeling passes quickly and afterward I only smell cherry candies, like that famous Tutsi Pop palette in Mexico. L’Elixir surprised me, but not for the better. Would I buy a perfume just to smell like a candy palette or cherry candy? It’s a fragrance I don’t even feel is youthful; I see it more for a little girl, even though perfumes don’t have an age, but that’s what comes to mind. L’Elixir seems to have been created during an all-night work meeting where someone said: ‘Alright, let’s add these four notes and lots of sugar, and we’re done.’ When I smell fragrances like this, I miss those complex creations from the past, full of nuances, surprises, and magic. I’m sorry, but L’Elixir didn’t like it at all, and on top of that, its longevity is very low, just like its projection.

  • This was my first perfume, a gift from my mom. I think it defined the style I’m drawn to: rich, fruity, and youthful. The downside is that it doesn’t last long.

  • Postrecito_Vs

I miss this one; it was one of my first perfumes as a girl. It’s a citrusy and sweet blend, though citrus takes the lead—very pleasant. The trail is moderate, but it lingers on clothes for several hours.
