I own this perfume and I don’t like it. Sorry for offending you, little Drake.
Is your mother-in-law, Yenimadrid, the one using this? Because it doesn’t smell like that to me…
For those who don’t know it, it seemed so similar to A Scent by Issey Miyake. It smells like grass, at least without applying it to the skin, and it’s not entirely to my liking.
I own this perfume and I don’t like it. Sorry to offend you, Drakey.
For those who don’t know it, it seemed so similar to Issey Miyake’s A Scent. Smells like grass, at least until applied to the skin. Not my total favorite.
I owe a review to this vintage beauty. It opens herbal, slightly bitter due to the galbanum, but within seconds, a sweetness from the jasmine and patchouli floats up, like the nectar of a fruit, and stays on the skin. The sweet patchouli plays with the other notes. It’s elegant, from another era but rich, herbaceous, sweet, and bitter. It’s Dior, a vintage that can walk the most glamorous avenues in the world. One of my favorite vintage scents, a beautiful combination of three notes. Very current, anyone can wear it today, and it has excellent longevity.
I absolutely love this perfume; it revives the beauty of the scent Miss Dior vintage should have been: an herbal opening followed by sweetness. I had forgotten about it, and today, upon applying it, I remembered those spring meadows with wildflowers. I don’t perceive it all the time; after 4 hours, I feel waves of it with movement or heat. It put me in a great mood and reminded me how much I love herbal aromas and galbanum. Excellent longevity, wide but pleasant sillage. Three sprays and I still catch whiffs at 12+ hours.
What a mess I have with the Miss Dior versions. I tested the original Eau de Parfum and identified it as a deep earthy scent without a doubt. This one, however, is different: the patchouli stands out more, giving a warm, green, woody, and almost talc-like smell. That earthy patchouli reminds me of the scent of a used makeup brush. It’s elegant, vintage, and current all at once, quite curious. Come on, I’m losing track of Miss Dior’s ‘real’ identity, because everyone is the child of their parents.
A legendary perfume that they just don’t make anymore. One of those great ones that makes you say, ‘this is definitely worth it.’ Too bad its drydown doesn’t fascinate me as much as its opening and heart, because it would be perfect. Opens floral, green, earthy, elegant, opulent, and refined. It has a wide sillage and very good longevity. Thanks, Dior, for still selling these classics; even though the composition is more reduced, it retains the aroma of the original I tested before and has nothing to envy. We can’t fight reformulations, we just have to adapt.
What a cozy fragrance. I’ve been wearing it for over 10 years and hold a wonderful memory of it. I’m ordering it again to relive that scent. I hope they kept it exactly as it was when I used it. It really stands out as different from everything else on the market today.
