  • To start, let me clarify that it’s one of my favorites. On the skin, it starts a bit sharp, I think because of the orange. But after 10 minutes, it turns into a velvety sweetness, nothing cloying, just pure amber-rose. When reaching the base, the rose and amber remain, and patchouli enters; it doesn’t dominate, but it balances the sweetness so it’s not cloying. Since it’s a parfum, this stage lasts hours and hours, and it’s the one I like the most! It stays velvety until the end. It gives me a feeling of being wrapped, hugged, and secure. Some women my age (I’m 22) say it smells “old,” but it’s not; I think it’s because of how elegant and classic it is, and they tend to smell only the opening with the orange, which can indeed be dated. Yes, it’s quite strong, but with moderate doses, it’s not annoying (be careful when applying!). I use it for special occasions or at night when it’s not hot; forbidden in summer. It differs from the new sweet ones that seem for teenagers or summer, more informal. This perfume is worn by people aged 20 to 70; my grandmother and I adore it. It’s absolutely classic. I recommend it to those who like sweet and strong scents. If you’re more into fresh fruity notes, it’s not for you. You need to love amber, rose, and patchouli. I’ve heard people compare it to Coco Mademoiselle, but I have both, and they don’t resemble each other on my skin. It reminds me a lot of Amarige Mariage and its power to La Vie est Belle. I haven’t heard Miss Dior Cherie, but they say they’re similar, with this one being less fruity and more elegant. When I use it, I feel like I’m dressed up. It’s very well made and of excellent quality. In summary, it’s not for everyone, but for me, it’s a delight. Liquid gold, haha.

  • “Make a perfume that smells like love” was the idea of the French house, and they achieved it. It’s sweet, but not cloying or easy. It has personality and character; it’s feminine, refined, classic but not old-fashioned, coquettish, romantic, French… It feels intoxicating, perfect for dinners or special occasions. Exquisite quality, with impressive evolution, fixation, and longevity. It accompanies us for hours, being the perfect complement that you feel but don’t see. I recommend it 100%; it’s a marvel.

  • Both previous reviews by Denise and ArantxA87 were accurate and I loved them. Here’s my contribution: I’ve always wanted to own a Miss Dior, but none won me over. At Fragancias Aprendemos, we learn every day; sometimes the notes tell us if we’ll like it, even if we get it wrong. A few days ago, I went to a store and took the last bottle without a tester; I took the risk because it’s expensive, but with the good news that I could return it if I didn’t like it. When I opened the box and saw that liquid gold (as Denise described), I thought it was horrible, smelling like old perfume, and said: “They tricked me!”. The perfume was old, strong, and stale. I was so disappointed that, driving with the radio on, I forgot about it. But when I got home, I felt a creamy, feminine, sensual, and floral scent that seduced me. It couldn’t be, I opened the bottle again and applied it to another part of my body; the same thing happened: old smell and disappointment. I thought I’d wait and see if it was you, and yes, it was. This perfume should be called Lady Dior Vintage, as it’s divine but a mature and sensual scent, as if you were in another era, for a Lady, not a Miss (in my opinion). It can’t be misunderstood by the opening; it requires patience to reach the best, its dry-down. It is undoubtedly the best I’ve heard from Dior, without taking away merit from its other victories. It smells like love (as ArantxA87 said), it’s a pleasant surprise, necessary for cypress lovers like me. God willing, they don’t stop making it.

  • The reviews by Denise and ArantxA87 were spot on, and I agreed with both. I’ve always wanted a Miss Dior, but none had won me over until now. At Fragancias Aprendemos, we learn every day: sometimes we judge by the notes without smelling it and get it wrong. One day I went to the store, there was no tester, so I risked it with the last bottle at a high price, but with the option to return it. When I opened it, the golden liquid smelled terrible—stale, old. I was so disappointed! I used it in the car and forgot about it. When I got home, the scent changed: creamy, feminine, sensual, and floral, seducing me. I smelled it again, and the strong smell returned. I thought it was a different bottle, but it was the same. This perfume should be called Lady Dior Vintage: it’s divine, mature, sensual, like from another era, for a lady, not a young girl. It can’t be misunderstood; it requires patience to enjoy its dry-down. It’s the best I’ve smelled from Dior, it smells like love, and it’s a pleasant surprise for cypress lovers. A must-have in any collection. God willing, they don’t stop making it!

  • I loved it. I bought it without testing it, trusting only the reviews, and I was right. It’s very romantic yet elegant and feminine, perfect for a lady. Excellent quality, though the sillage is moderate. I think it’s for women in their middle years, though I liked it at 20 too. Now I’m trying other things, but I’ll come back for this jewel someday. Perfect for the office and all year round.

  • I use it every day; it’s my constant companion. Miss Dior Cherie is my absolute favorite, but I can’t find it here in Argentina anymore. Cherie is magical—I hope it comes back! I’m dying for it!

  • In my opinion, this perfume had everything to enchant: the bottle, the color, the advertising, the typography, EVERYTHING. The problem is… it doesn’t enchant me. It’s a good, generic, and elegant perfume, but in that category, Elie Saab Parfume could be more standout. It’s like people who are very good-looking but hollow, anyway, it’s a good perfume. Perhaps French culture with its overused aesthetic evocation remains pleasant; that’s this perfume. It’s not complicated, it’s minimal, talc-y, clean, tender, elegant, it doesn’t fail… well, possibly in summer because it’s a bit heavy for warm climates. Overall, it’s a very beautiful and collectible scent, considering Dior compulsively reformulates many of its valuable creations. All the notes are wrapped in a talc-y soap created by roses and amber, so the base notes always accompany the opening notes like the orange. The roses are perceptible but in a complicated way, evoking ethereal and pristine femininity. More than defined notes, it evokes experiences: a day in the quiet, luxurious neighborhood of a city, a house surrounded by finely selected flowers that permeate the air with a subtle scent, all in that light and spotless place. A woman in a pale pink tulle dress, perfectly coiffed, with barely noticeable makeup, light, serious, beautiful, and dreamy like few others; on her table, all kinds of powdered sugar desserts and pink macarons.

  • The opening is a bit strong; you need to be patient. Regardless of whether we like it or not, or if it’s sensual, refined, and very elegant, it’s regrettable that some reviews still refer to it as smelling like ‘an old lady.’ To criticize a perfume you don’t like, you don’t need to be disrespectful or hurt other people.

For me, this perfume is Roses and Patchouli. I don’t feel the other notes; on my skin, only those stand out, and I adore it. I bought several bottles and backups because I was afraid it would disappear, as it’s not common to find it in perfumeries. It’s an elegant, sophisticated perfume, like the ones from before that make today’s ones special. I think it’s not in fashion, it’s timeless in the good sense. There’s too much patchouli, so I don’t recommend it to those who don’t like the note. The roses make it special, and it’s one of the best I have with that note. It lasts all day; in fact, it’s one of the longest-lasting from the Dior house. I like to wear it with elegant clothes and on cold days. Aroma and bottle are super elegant. I bought it blind because a friend insisted I shouldn’t miss it; it was really a great discovery that I hope to always have in my collection.

To me, this perfume is all about roses and patchouli. I don’t sense the other notes; on my skin, only those two stand out, and I adore it. I bought several backup bottles because I was afraid it might disappear, as it’s not common to find anymore. It’s elegant and sophisticated, like the ones from before that are now rare. I think it’s not trendy, but timeless in the good sense. There’s too much patchouli, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you dislike that note. • Strong, full-bodied, elegant, and durable perfume, well-formulated and balanced. Starts with sweet mandarin, followed by roses, and concentrates into patchouli, highlighting the amber notes throughout. It improved upon its predecessor by removing the sweet popcorn note; the previous version didn’t work for me because it was too dry. Was it necessary to discontinue it?

I like it. Opens with a pink-orange that’s a bit overwhelming and intrusive, giving way to a lovely pink-amber-vanilla blend. As it develops, the rose fades and a generous patchouli rises, occasionally with a strawberry fruity touch. It finishes with amber and patchouli. Sweet, warm, intense, elegant, and feminine. I liked it. The opening might be the least attractive phase, while the heart is the most interesting. Nuclear performance, not very versatile, perfect for autumn, winter, and night. Very long-lasting longevity with a heavy sillage.

Definitely, I’m not a huge fan of ambers, and this isn’t an exception, but I recognize it’s very elegant and sophisticated. As they say here, it makes you look dressed up. It doesn’t have outstanding longevity or projection, but it’s noticeable, and that final amber drydown clings to the skin for about 8 hours. I don’t detect depth in the notes (just the amber throughout the entire development). Overall, it’s good, but I wouldn’t buy it again, though I understand it has followers and is discontinued. A true Miss Dior, as it should be. The first 3 seconds remind me a lot of the Miss Dior Toilette from 2007.

  • Cherchezlafemme

When you grow up and the Miss Dior EDP 2012 runs out and becomes too sweet and cloying… you find this. I bought it blind after hours of reading reviews… my god, what a beauty. It’s the most adult of the current Miss Diors (not counting the green-aldehydic “original” remakes). The pity is that the rose lasts so short and soon the amber dominates.

When the Miss Dior EDP 2012 feels too sweet and cloying, this one arrives to save the day. I bought it blind after reading reviews, and what a beauty. It’s the most adult of the current versions (excluding the green/aldehydic remakes). The downside is that the rose fades quickly and then the amber takes over.

  • Jloveparfum

Miss Dior Le Parfum is love, elegance, and femininity. Rose and patchouli create a seductive and sophisticated effect; a sublime complexity. Fresh citrus over an enveloping patchouli, with an absolute rose heart, resins, and balms. It’s a symphony of caramelized rose and patchouli with amber, creating a warm and sensual atmosphere. Unique in the collection. On my skin, it lasts more than 10 hours with high to moderate sillage. A discontinued jewel, ideal if you’re passionate about amber. My 40ml bottle, batch 2R02 from April 2012, is over 10 years old and still smells wonderful.

  • Beautiful and elegant, it opens with a potent patchouli blended with citrus. It then evolves into a warm amber base that projects well and lasts incredibly long on the skin.
