I was looking for a fresh cologne and found this gem. Out of all the 4711 scents I’ve tried, this is the most feminine. You can taste the sparkling, juicy mandarin, followed by cardamomo like a spicy, warm cinnamon. The contrast is brutal: it starts fresh and then turns warm, transporting me to an Arab souk full of fruits and spices. I bought it for summer, but I’ll save it for autumn and winter, cold and rainy days; it’ll be my antidote to the bad weather. You can tell it uses quality essential oils; the scent is rich and refined. It works as aromatherapy: a few drops on my skin or pillow and I melt away like a baby. It’s very relaxing and warm, like a mother’s or lover’s embrace by the fireplace. It has a sensual side, don’t be fooled, I think it’s going to last a long time…
It’s absolutely delicious; I recommend it 100%! The bottle finished quickly because I kept applying it until it ran out. It doesn’t smell like any ordinary cologne; it feels like a high-end eau de parfum, except it doesn’t last long because it’s pure cologne.
At first, it smells a bit like alcohol, but it’s very fresh and dominated by the sweetness of a ripe mandarin, nothing cloying. The green cardamomo adds a warm touch that makes it simple, pleasant, and cheerful. As Remy says, I also see this for autumn. On the plus side, it smells very natural and honest, with a linear development. The downside is that the longevity and sillage are minimal; in my case, even with many sprays, I barely got 2 hours.
Fresh, spicy, and fruity, with incredible richness. The mandarin and cardamomo notes are very faithful and intense; over time they blend to create a citrus cologne with real character. It has echoes of Love Cheap and Chic, but it’s a warmer, spicier version than Light Blue. 4711 continues to create fragrances that are always fresh and appreciated.
What a gem! I was looking for something fresh for this infernal heat, and this delivered in spades. It’s super relaxing; though the scent is delicate and doesn’t project much, the longevity is standard for a cologne. The best part is that applying it to my arms and hands while working gives me an immense boost of joy; it works as both a cologne and aromatherapy all at once.
