Delicious perfume, a pleasure to apply after a shower. Fresh and revitalizing ‘orange’ scent, quite safe for blind buy and will please most. I like it more than the original Terre, probably my favorite from Hermès. Spring/Summer, casual/semi-formal wear, but also good for daytime formal. On performance… I used a 10ml vial and there are highs and lows: days with bursts several hours later and others where nothing smells at 2 hours. I suppose it’s in the average for designer fragrances. Maybe the weakest point is the price, I see it as high, but it smells great and has quality. A resounding YES if I find it at a good price.
Hello… The truth is it’s a fragrance… How to describe it? Charming? Sophisticated? Elegant? I think yes. Delicious. It makes you feel 100% sophistication. A beauty. I don’t see it only for heat or summer; I used it in winter, on a day not too cold, around 20 degrees, and it worked wonderfully. About 5 sprays on skin and a couple more on clothes… Great performance and elegance.
To my taste, it smells like real lemon/orange; in the declared sour apple notes, it feels citrusy with something sweet. I thought it had worn off, but every now and then it comes back in waves. Very good experience, gives a sense of vitality and good mood. I’d wear it casually with jeans and a relaxed white shirt, nothing formal or elegant, though eventually it turns oxidized citrus and earthy, maybe for something more formal. I understand they recommend using it after a shower for the freshness, but it’s much more. I recommend it for daytime, spring/summer, any non-formal occasion.
THE PERFECT FLANKER. Terre d’Hermes original is one of the best perfumes ever formulated, a characterful vetiver with a touch of orange. The vetiver is green with fresh nuances; pairing it with citrus is a success. The magic is in the orange: not sweet like juice, but from an unripe orange, without any sweetness, which matches masterfully with the green of the vetiver. This flanker, Eau Givrée, is more pleasant and lighter. It trimmed the harsh facets of the vetiver and added juniper berries with presence. It’s like a gin tonic: refreshing. They didn’t use lemons, they chose the perfect note. The juniper berries do the magic with Terre d’Hermes for a calm and refreshing version without losing the signature. Creating a flanker of this caliber is a challenge, and the result is outstanding. Christine Nagel flourishes with accurate proposals where this Givrée is one of the best.
This was my first and has never disappointed me. Terre d’Hermes is extremely versatile, with elegant and fresh citrus notes that give a youthful vibe. Despite the excellent aroma, I must admit the longevity is scarce, just a few hours, which leaves something to be desired.
A total hit! A coherent flanker with the legendary EDT by Ellena. More citrusy, with the sour apple opening mercilessly. No jasmine or iris, just wood, earth, and fruit. Very masculine, evolves naturally, and the base sweetens. Lasts 6 hours on skin, but projection and sillage are scarce, like the whole Terre series. Recommended, but always, always, don’t buy blindly. Bravo, Nagel!
Incredible, it’s the definition of freshness, I’ve never used anything like this. It’s citrusy from the grapefruit and you can taste the sour apple, super different. Someone told me: ‘smells so good, super fresh and citrusy, but a citrus I can’t define’. It has a slight sweetness from the juniper berries, but it doesn’t take away the freshness. Then come delicious, soft woods. It lasts a long time on my skin, though it’s soft and personal; you need to spray 6-8 times. Perfect for the gym, college, work, and heat. A wonder.
Too rich, fresh, and ethereal; weak projection and sillage after half an hour, but anyone sensitive to perfumes will compliment you. The scent is a 10/10, so exquisite that you don’t care about its performance because it would lose its charm. I wear it everywhere and bought a refiller to reapply at the 4th or 5th hour. Still, don’t buy blindly.
I tested it on dry skin and it reminded me of a fragrance I didn’t know until Sedley by Parfums de Marly suddenly came to mind.
A citrus bath with a brutal sour apple note giving it that perfect bitterness; the mineral and woody notes last 7-9 hours on my skin. Ideal for heat, it’s my favorite in the Terre d’Hermès line.
A commercial variant of the original Terre d’Hermès but in this case citrus and fresh. Naturally, it completes the classic scent created by genius JC Ellena in 2006, but oriented towards the spring-summer season and comes to replace the discontinued TDH Tres Fraiche. Like everything this French house does, it exudes elegance, its own style, quality, and maturity.
I can definitely see the Terre DNA as soon as I spray it. A fresh, sharp citrus blast that wraps me in a good vibe. Without trying it more, I estimate the longevity is modest, similar to the Parfum I also own, but I didn’t expect more from a citrus. I’m starting to get rid of my obsession with perfume longevity and enjoy the scent itself more, because otherwise I don’t win any disappointments. I do see it as elegant. It’s not the typical marine citrus daily scent; this one dresses you up and distinguishes you from Aqua di Gio. And, as I always insist when I wear a Terre, it wraps me in a good vibe. That bitterness throws me off a bit. I was short on the 50ml format, I suppose more bottles will drop. Bravo, Ms. Nagel. EDIT: After a few days of testing… what a marvel! 8 hours of longevity with more than decent projection. It wraps me and bursts aren’t stopping. A citrus with a woody base simply sublime. That said, I discovered, to my surprise, that the batch was made in 2021, meaning months before its commercial launch. In short, I love this light and elegant Terre.
The fresh and zesty citrus variant of Terre d’Hermès made me get rid of my D&G Italian Love. It has an intense citrus opening, the sour citrus note, which for my inexperienced nose is quite similar to grapefruit, made me feel both were redundant, and I chose the Terre simply because it seemed better and more evolving, because it lets the juniper berries open up as minutes pass, and finally, when it’s close to the skin, the personality of the classic Terre d’Hermès appears timidly. I feel that within what seems easy and pleasant, there lies notable complexity. Performance on my skin is about 4 to 5 hours, and the hotter it gets, the better.
An exquisite fragrance with an addictive, sharp, and refreshing citrus note, special for hot days. Ideal fragrance for a mature adult who wants to make a special mark. It doesn’t resemble any perfume I know. I suggest buying a refillable atomizer because it lasts 5 hours on my skin, but that’s what citrus scents of this character normally last. Awesome!!
A total hit for summer. I bought it following Carlos Rubio in a video about summer perfumes, and he was absolutely right. I love that it smells like gin and lemon (and a good gin and tonic), so this Terre d’Hermès caught me off guard… the smell was identical and the freshness it provides is great on hot days for at least 6-7 hours. It’s a very formal fragrance (perfect for work and meeting up for a drink), and as the first hours pass, you see how the scent transcends into the original Terre d’Hermès, which I don’t dislike at all. I don’t see it as a youthful scent, but neither is it for older people. For me, it far surpasses the other flanker (Eau Intense Vetiver) that I also tried in the store, because this one from the first spray you can see the good vibe and the scent it gives. If you like citrus, gin, and the Terre d’Hermès smell, buy it without hesitation.
Incredible, for me better than the classic. It smells like frozen citrus, seriously very good for heat in formal settings, like an outdoor wedding or in the office when it’s hot. I wouldn’t wear it myself because I think it suits someone older, maybe 30 and up, but it’s still very good.
It manages to give continuity to the discontinued Terre Eau Tres Fraiche while improving its performance, with a realistic and non-synthetic sour citrus note. It’s a bit more bitter than Eau Tres Fraiche and has a mineral base that brings it slightly closer to Terre EDT, though it’s distinct enough so that owning both isn’t redundant. It’s ideal for spring and summer, daytime situations where you want something fresh but of high quality that looks good. It can also be a great alternative for those who find Terre EDT too serious (not my case). It has very good longevity and projection for its type of scent: 6 long hours with medium projection on my skin. Nothing to object to with a fresh, realistic citrus like this. Undoubtedly, this Terre Eau Givrée is one of the best citrus perfumes for summer you can find today in the designer catalog in terms of performance, scent, and packaging. Although Eau Tres Fraiche had a special ‘magic’, this Eau Givrée is more than a worthy successor and positions itself at the very top of Hermès’ catalog. Highly recommended. Salu2
Without trying the new EDP Intense, this is undoubtedly the best Terre d’Hermès in the line for me. It stands out from the others, being much more wearable and modern without losing the elegance that characterizes the Terre family. It’s a pity it doesn’t last longer, but it’s still my favorite perfume for hot days. A masterpiece that goes largely unnoticed.
For me, the best Terre d’Hermès: a sharp citrus opening that lasts a long time and smells like the white part of the grapefruit (sour citrus), something bitter but not unpleasant. It dries down slightly green and woody, but the citrus never fades away. Great for summer or warm climates, and considering the price, I think it’s worth it. One of the best designer scents.
Elegant fragrance, very boss vibes. Buy without regrets. It’s useless in winter, but for summer office wear, it’s in my top 3. With that Terre d’Hermès DNA, it’s unmistakable and easy to like. The only downside: no sillage and moderate longevity for the price. Update: Perfume bomb, 35 sprays, and it lasts 5 hours for sure.
For me, one of the best citrus fragrances, perfect for summer. It’s like an instant blast of freshness that evolves into a more complex, mineral base with a very subtly earthy note, similar to its older sibling (but not wet earth, rather sandy, like if beach sand had a scent). The initial burst of sour citrus creates a hyper-realistic effect of bitter oranges, grapefruits, and freshly cut lemons. Its acidity and sweetness invade the whole room before settling in. Great scent, and for me, at least, it lasts quite a while on the skin for a citrus fragrance.
Timeless elegance, this fragrance screams it. It starts with a spectacular citrus, that apple one, making you forget the classic. Gradually, it turns metallic and woody. Although I enjoy it, someone told me it smells like an older person; I’m 31, and it fits me perfectly. I also felt it was mature, but very wearable for someone 27 and up. The original projects more age. Longevity: brutal, reaching 8 hours on me, projecting for 2-3 hours, then occasional bursts.
Terre d’Hermès intensified with citrus freshness. An exquisite opening that you want to last, though it doesn’t disappear entirely, thanks to that special freshness. I love it; it could be my favorite in the line, even if it doesn’t project as much or last as long as the original.
If Terre d’Hermès was a dusty gentleman at the end of the day, Eau Givrée is that same gentleman fresh out of the shower, sharp and with his senses wide awake. The essence is the same, but dressed in steel and frost. It doesn’t lose its elegance or edge, but now it looks at you with cold eyes and a wet beard. The apple hits hard: clean, violent, almost insulting. Behind it, unlisted mint and juniper shake you like a bucket of water. There’s no sweetness; it’s the scent of a mountain dawn, with frozen feet and a clear head. Warning: beneath the ice beats the earthy heart of the original. The metallic notes and woods remain, like scars from a life well-lived. One can shave and get clean, but you can’t escape your history. Eau Givrée isn’t for everyone. It’s for those who distinguish between cold and sterile, those who have lived and are still standing, chin up to the wind and soul frozen.
Very good fragrance. On clothes, it doesn’t evolve and keeps that delicious opening; on skin, it does evolve, and you notice the marked vetiver after the first hour. Very pleasant and masculine.
This version of Terre d’Hermès is probably one of the best citrus scents on the market right now, regarding quality, realism, and price. I absolutely loved it. It strikes sharp and realistic, like yellow grapefruit, without any bitterness. As it dries down after 30 minutes, that characteristic vetiver appears with a metallic touch, like freshly ironed clothes, adding shine to the citrus. I don’t get sweet berries; it’s 100% citrus, fresh, herbal, and woody, sounding nothing like a generic clone. Performance is very good: projects for 1.5 hours, then stays at a medium distance. It lasts a solid 5-6 hours; reapplying is a pleasure. I recommend the 175ml; you’ll use it a lot. Ideal for casual and semi-formal wear: the scent of a serious but approachable man. A quiet luxury for warm climates. If you’re a fan, buy it blind.
Defining this perfume is like drinking a mojito with Terre d’Hermès on.
Batch code 19100… is that even possible? 😮
Terre d’Hermès Eau Givrée is the classic with an icy kick you didn’t expect. It opens bright and clean with a cold lemon that wakes you up instantly, but deep down, that wet earth and elegant vetiver remain, making it unique. It’s modern, sharp, and masculine without losing the natural sophistication of the line. Perfect for summer or the office: smell great without the fuss. It’s not aggressive, but it’s firm. Like a confident handshake… with ice.
It’s a realistic citrus, smelling like the white pith of a grapefruit with a woody touch, minus the mineral vibe. On my skin, it leaves a bitter aftertaste and a feeling of overripe fruit. Best for someone over 40. It projects little and lasts 5-6 hours. To sum up, it’s not for me, but the quality is evident.
If you want an elegant and fresh version that’s also long-lasting (considering the type), this is your best bet. Surprising authenticity and naturalness in its citrus notes, plus the longevity is very acceptable. Very valid for casual wear and also with a more elegant look. Perfect for the office, but equally versatile for any daytime event and summer season. For me, the best of Terre.
A bomb for sunny, hot days or when you need a natural citrus vibe after hanging out in the world of sweet scents. You can dress casually, elegantly, or in a beachy short and shirt with sunglasses, making you feel fresh bursts of coolness.
The apple is quite noticeable at first, giving that sensation of a realistic citrus with a bit of sourness that turns into something totally orange. The drydown is very rich compared to the initial explosion, a good option for that orange citrus without resorting to sweetness. It’s quite icy.
Spraying 5-8 times of this Eau Grivrèe is like taking a potion from your trusted druid: it fills you with energy, strength, savoir-faire, chivalry, and a fantastic good vibe for 6-8 hours. For spring to autumn mornings, always in my rotation. Seems like an excess to carry this energy at night without people thinking you took some opiate, but hey, tastes differ.
Fresh and elegant, perfect for summer days. It doesn’t overdo the sweetness, staying true to Hermès’ characteristic essence.
A great choice for extreme heat, sophisticated without too many notes but with a well-marked citrus. The apple adds a refreshing, realistic, and enjoyable scent. Works well in the office and outdoors, doesn’t bother anyone with its sillage (for personal enjoyment and those who get close). It’s a gem, good price, and excellent quality. Will be trying it out.
I’m not a fan of citrus, but this one is particularly sharp, fresh, and very bright.
Ideal for heat and sunny days, very citrusy and woody, excellent quality. It’s not in the same ballpark as Tygar scents; it’s not a sweet or musky citrus, it’s natural with a rind, like the original Terre d’Hermès (leaning more towards Parfum). It has vetiver in a subtler presence, herbal juniper berries, and that metallic note that gives it personality. Performance is decent for its naturalness; I wore it 8 hours today and now I only catch it in bursts, moderate projection. Edit: After 10 hours, the supermarket cashier noticed it, not bad for a freshie.
Less is more, this is the definition. A beautiful quality aroma, wonderful to my nose: mineral, woody, citrusy, and spicy. One of my favorites, a delight, just like all the Terre d’Hermès. I think it’s the only Hermès line where everything they release seems incredible to me. Hermès quality.
Smells like those hard yellow candies with powdered sugar. No wonder it’s called ‘Frosted Water’. It’s citrusy, sharp, and mineral without being heavy or having a huge sillage. Smells great, but not for me; maybe for someone 40+ on a hot day, for casual moments.
