Absolutely amazing fragrance that, on me, evokes a mandarin tree bathed in the sea breeze of the Italian coast. A summer scent with a touch of wood that makes it more earthy and warm. The trail isn’t very wide, but the time it lasts while working is a delight.
They say it’s the most natural tangerine scent out there, so how are the others? lol. Sometimes I’m not sure if I have a privileged sense of smell or if I’m just not cut out for this; it’s bipolar because the discrepancies between reviews and what I actually smell are insane. Almost everyone praises it as luxurious and beautiful, but here I feel that ‘I want it but can’t have it’ vibe. It starts with some cool green accords, like petit grain or green tangerine, but then everything wraps up in something that has very little to do with the concept. A dominant note identical to Stilla, with a forced, synthetic texture that I’ve come to hate. Maybe it’s the longevity part, which isn’t bad on my skin, but another letdown overall.
My favorite from the Italian Perris collection, perfect for summer. It’s mandarin with woody and green notes; not as sweet or gourmand as Arancia. You can smell the journey through the whole tree: the fruit, the flower, the wood, and the green of the leaves. Very fresh with exceptional quality components. The longevity is typical for a citrus cologne, not very high, around 6 hours depending on the heat.
Brutal fragrance. I don’t think it offends anyone because I haven’t met a single person who doesn’t love it. If there were a category for extreme sophistication, this would be at the top. It tells the life story of the tangerine from flower to fruit. Just a heads-up: it’s not for everyone, but it’s perfect for those seeking refined taste and true class.
