Descripción

Yves Saint Laurent L'Homme Cologne Bleue is an aromatic aquatic fragrance for men. Launched in 2018, this composition was created by Juliette Karagueuzoglou. The top notes reveal a marine freshness accompanied by grapefruit, mandarin, blood orange, cardamom, and black pepper; the heart unfolds lavender, apple, geranium, and thyme; while the base notes settle on patchouli, cedar, and sandalwood.

  • What kind of joke is L’Oreal playing on us? I have a huge sense of frustration with YSL perfumery since they were sold. I don’t get why they stopped making gems like Live Jazz to release this trash. Let me be clear: it’s indecent to sell fragrances that are so expensive fleeting and poorly composed. It’s similar to Invictus but doesn’t even come close in longevity or projection. It tries to mimic L’Homme but the aquatic notes betray it. It’s too indecent to price these flankers this high. If you want mid-tier quality go to their exclusive line; that shouldn’t be the standard. I hope and pray L’Oreal sells the YSL brand; it’s not normal what they’ve turned the house into. I’m sure neither Yves nor Pierre would have wanted this.

What kind of dark joke is this? They sprayed it on me at a department store. A cute girl misted my arm and since I couldn’t smell anything she told me to put some on my neck. I thought it was light because of the name but she went overboard: 6 or 7 sprays on my neck and one on the nape. Mmm fresh pleasant citrus. I said Thanks, smells great. But in less than an hour that bland pathetic scent reminiscent of Invictus Aqua vanished. I felt bad for the people being tricked into buying it. Poor guys what a rip-off. Does anyone know if you can sue for perfume quality? I’m interested in finding out how to screw these scammers in Mexico. Let someone smart take them down and I’ll celebrate with mariachi. Yves Saint L’Oreal you’re vermin.

What kind of dark joke is this? They sprayed it on me at a department store. The pretty lady asked permission to spray me on the arm; since I couldn’t smell the fragrance from the morning I told her to go ahead on the neck imagining it was light and fresh because of the name. She really went wild it seemed like she wanted to finish the tester I got 6 or 7 sprays on my neck and nape. Mmm fresh pleasant citrus. ‘Thanks smells great.’ What do you think? In less than an hour that bland pathetic little scent half-similar to Invictus Aqua disappeared. I felt sorry for those who will be tricked into buying it for that initial fresh burst. Poor guys what a rip-off. Friends who know the law is it feasible to sue if you’re not satisfied with the quality or what warranty applies? I imagine every country has its laws; I’m interested in knowing how to sue these scammers at least in Mexico (obviously I didn’t buy this trash just asking out of curiosity). How much I wish someone smart would take them down I’d celebrate with mariachi and tequila. YSL-L’Oreal you’re two-legged rats nowadays.

  • L’Homme Cologne Bleue is the quintessential flanker of the original: aquatic easy and pleasant though a bit generic. It emphasizes the aquatic and fruity notes over the floral ones. It’s fresh and perfect for summer and unlike others it lasts about two hours on the skin. If it were cheaper it would be a decent summer option but it’s pricey and smells just like more affordable alternatives. In the end I prefer sticking with the original L’Homme.

  • L’Homme Cologne Bleue is yet another flanker of the original L’Homme an aquatic fragrance that’s easy to like generic but pleasant. It shares similarities with its parent but here the aquatic and fruity notes stand out more than the florals. It goes without saying that it’s fresh and summery; unlike others it lasts a good couple of hours on the skin. At a more accessible price it would be a solid summer choice but it’s expensive and its scent doesn’t differ much from cheaper options. I prefer sticking with the original L’Homme.

Despite the negative reviews I absolutely love this fragrance. Since L’Oreal took over the brand in 2008/2009 they’ve turned things around though there are some nuances. It’s a good scent with marine and citrus notes that blend beautifully with a soft woody base. My mistake was wearing it in summer; it has enough density to shine better in the cool autumn air. Its short longevity makes it perfect for a post-gym session late in the day: the damp skin and open pores hold just enough to get you home leaving a subtle trail for your family while you’re having dinner or watching a movie.

Despite the bad comments here I actually like it. Since L’Oreal took over the brand (late 2008) things have changed and in some cases the results are good. It’s a good fragrance with marine and citrus tones accompanied by a soft woody base. The mistake was labeling it as a summer scent; it has a certain density and suits cooler climates better like early autumn. Its low longevity makes it ideal for someone ending their day with hours at the gym: the damp skin and open pores retain the scent long enough to get home where your family will smell it subtly while you’re having dinner or watching a movie with your partner.

In a nutshell… Fresh, aquatic, and very pleasant. The magic of this fragrance starts at the 30-minute mark.

I tried this YSL flanker and made the mistake of expecting too much. While the scent is decent, it smells more like aromatic water with aquatic notes. After three or four sprays, the aroma vanishes completely within five minutes due to its abysmal longevity and almost non-existent projection. It’s mediocrity straight out of a scam and the biggest disgrace from YSL in a decade: decline in a bottle. The worst aquatic fragrance ever; don’t waste your money on this, it’s not even half its price (here it costs nearly 2000 pesos).

  • Uglydreamer92

In my case, after testing this YSL flanker, I made the mistake of having high expectations. This poor attempt, despite having an acceptable and decent aroma, ended up smelling like a scented water that you apply 3-4 sprays of and disappears completely within 5 minutes due to its very low longevity and almost non-existent sillage. In short, this mediocrity is a scam, a rip-off, the greatest infamy YSL has created in the last decade, the decline and decadence of YSL bottled up. The worst aquatic fragrance in history; please, don’t waste money on a splash of water that’s not worth half its price (in my city, it sells for almost 2000 pesos).

  • The worst flanker in this line and the worst fragrance from Yves Saint Laurent to date. If La Nuit de L’Homme already had poor longevity, this one has nothing redeemable. Maybe some might like it, but honestly, it’s a tremendous embarrassment.

  • THE WORST FLANKER of this line… and the WORST fragrance Yves Saint Laurent has released to date. If La Nuit de l’Homme was already short on longevity, this one doesn’t even have anything redeemable. Maybe someone might like it, but honestly, it’s a tremendous embarrassment.

  • L’homme COLOGNE Bleue. I emphasize COLOGNE because it’s a whole concept: 5-8% essence concentration over 90% water and alcohol. An Eau de Cologne caters to refreshment needs, post-shower, or post-gym, or for those who prefer to smell subtle or are allergic. This product isn’t just an EDC; it’s BLEUE, meaning fresh or aquatic. Anyone buying an EDC should know its durability, projection, and sillage are weak by nature. I’m not a big fan of YSL’s current fragrances; I like few, like La Nuit Électrique or Y, and to some extent the feminine ones, which are stunning. This cologne opens with intense, spicy citrus with a fresh marine sensation and the repeated cardamomo note found in all the Nuit flankers; a characteristic sweet-spicy note. The dominant green apple with lavender and flowers occupies the heart and dries down to rich oriental woods. It seems like an excellent aquatic, refreshing version of La Nuit de l’Homme, fulfilling its mission. The bottle is beautiful, seeming to blend sky and sea in a gradient. It lasts a decent while on the skin and leaves a wonderful incense-like sensation.

  • L’Homme Cologne Bleue: it’s pure concept. Only 5-8% essence the rest is water and alcohol. Ideal for after a shower the gym or for anyone who prefers something soft even if you’re allergic. It’s not just any EDP; it’s BLEUE: fresh and aquatic. If you buy EDP you know the longevity and projection are weak by nature. I’m not a fan of most current YSL fragrances; I like only a few like La Nuit Électrique or Y though the feminine ones are usually stunning. This opens with intense spicy citrus that fresh marine sensation and the repeated cardamom from the Nuit flankers that characteristic sweet and spicy note. The bottle is gorgeous looking like a gradient of sky and sea. It lasts a good while and leaves a wonderful incense trail.

  • Mr Landaulet

This is one of many YSL fragrances that had great potential because this citrus and marine cologne has a pleasant aroma. However, as is tradition in most of their fragrances over the last 10 years, the longevity and sillage are extremely poor, a true shame. It’s no surprise many think Cologne Bleue is the worst flanker in the L’Homme line; add to that its high price (around $90), and it feels like an outright scam.

  • Mr Landaulet

It’s one of those YSL fragrances that promised a lot with that citrus and marine touch, but in the end, it’s a total letdown. The longevity and projection are non-existent, which is typical for the brand over the last decade. It’s no surprise many call it the worst flanker of L’Homme; adding the nearly $90 price tag, it feels like an outright rip-off.

  • If you jumped on the YSL EDP hype and thought it was too much, then this is the exact opposite. Recommended only if you’re introverted and want to be discreet. The quality is there; yes, it’s generic compared to the blue fragrances of that era (2018-2021), but in perspective, it was one of the first of its kind, lacking the necessary attention.

  • The scent is quite good something everyone will want very wearable. But its biggest problem is longevity and projection: I barely smell it and only for a few minutes. That said I think it’s a good option for school university or even a date during hot weather.

  • The scent is good; it’s one of those everyone will like and it’s very wearable. However, its biggest issue is longevity and projection. I barely smell it, and only for a few minutes. Still, I think it’s a great option for school, university, or even a date during hot weather.

  • Janus1980

I’ve had this since 2021; it was a gift from my wife. As the saying goes, you don’t look at the teeth of a gifted horse… I’ve used over 70% of it and can say: 1. Pleasant aroma for hot weather, citrus with a marine touch. 2. Poor projection; it lasts about a meter for the first hour and then drops to skin-level. 3. Poor longevity; after two hours, I can’t smell it unless I bury my nose in my arm like a dog. Worth considering. It’s a cologne. Should I recommend it? Yes, if the price matched the cheapest ones. I wouldn’t pay more than $12. Even the English cologne lasts longer.

  • LosPerfumesDeJavi

L’homme Cologne Bleu smells like green apple, grapefruit, tangerine, and geranium. It’s not original; it’s basically a sweeter clone of Yves Saint Laurent’s ‘Y’. The house seems to have forgotten how to create its own fragrances and just makes copies. It smells good, but offers nothing new. The longevity is minimal and the sillage is almost non-existent. The L’homme line is already overexploited, and they haven’t released anything striking.

  • If you’re looking for a ‘skin scent,’ this is your pick: it smells clean and masculine, like you just stepped out of the shower.
