Feels like an ultra-commercial formula, mixing the best of One Million, Chanel Bleu, and Eros Uomo. Honestly, it’s very overdone.
I bought it mistaking it for the praised Blue Électrique and quickly resold it. Why? It doesn’t last. It has a rich opening, but tries to be sweet and vanilla-floral without succeeding. You only catch a hint of musk after a few minutes. IT DOESN’T LAST; it’s not moderate like the rest of the line, it’s weak. After two hours, it’s just vanilla on the skin with a vague musky idea. It’s like its name: Eau Électrique, water that barely gives a spark.
No flanker has reached the level of the original; this one is less so. It feels like a mix of the EDT with Salvatore Ferragamo 2020. It feels low quality; I didn’t like it at all. Like the others in the line, it lacks longevity and projection; they’re fragrances meant to last two or four hours before fading away.
If you like La Nuit de L’Homme, this should be in your collection. It’s more versatile, ideal for cold climates during the day or at the office. I even use it to sleep in. After so many years since its creation, reviewers only started talking about it in October 2021.
It doesn’t smell bad, it smells good. In short, it’s a sweet, fresh, and minty aroma. I own Armani Code Profumo and this Eau Électrique; to my nose, they’re quite similar. I should try them side by side, but without a doubt, it’s nothing aquatic. It also reminds me of the L’INTENSE flanker from the L’Homme line. I don’t understand why they lean on La Nuit de L’Homme when cardamom is the signature note giving that spicy touch to the DNA. This flankering creates rampant cannibalism.
This is my favorite flanker from the YSL L’Homme line because I feel it’s aquatic, sparkling, and effervescent. What stands out most on my skin is the delicious aroma of green apple, lemon, and vanilla. It works perfectly in spring and autumn. In winter, the performance is acceptable and decent only during the day (about 5 or 6 hours). I don’t recommend it much for winter nights because the longevity and sillage are very poor, lasting at most 2 hours stuck right to the skin.

Spring and autumn are the seasons where this fragrance performs best. In winter, the performance seems acceptable and decent, but only during the day (approximately between 5 and 6 hours). On winter nights, I don’t recommend it much because longevity and trail become very poor (at most 2 hours of duration and a discreet trail sticking very close to the skin).
Although I’ve never been a fan of any current YSL fragrance for just making flankers and more of the same (80% with poor performance), THIS is perhaps my guilty pleasure. From the endless La Nuit de L’Homme line, it has a fizz, effervescence, and pleasant aquatic sparkle, even feeling metallic and synthetic. It has something that seems invigorating. It’s the only one in this infinite line that gives me good longevity (6:30-8h) and I like it more than the original.
While I’ve never been a fan of ANY of the YSL fragrances from now on since they couldn’t think of anything other than flankers and flankers of the same flankers (80% poor performance), THIS is perhaps my guilty pleasure. Delicious fragrance; I use it only at night because during the day I find it overwhelming with the heat. I’ve received many positive compliments. Good purchase option.
Rich and fresh, but its longevity on me was 5 hours. Not bad, but right up against the skin. Since I use it just to smell it myself, I think it’s fine.

Just picked up this fragrance, and hey, it smells good, but it’s a fresh and sweet scent that’s nothing new anymore. On my skin, it lasts about 6 hours or a bit more. It reminds me a little of Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo Casual Life because of that sweet note, maybe the flowers or the apple. If you’re looking for something versatile and long-lasting, go with Uomo Casual Life. Nuit Eau Electrique isn’t bad; I love it and use it often, but I see it more as an all-rouner for going out anywhere, even a bar or club. If you want something versatile and great for a date, better stick with Uomo Casual Life.
Damn, what a chore, what do I say? I could list ambroxan, amberwood, marine notes, or whatever. Given the votes, I expected a bomb of cashmere wood, which I’m very sensitive to, but honestly, it’s not there. The opening has that slightly frozen effect typical of green apple. The reality is, like the new ‘Y’ has nuances and movement, here the low intensity and testing it alongside others doesn’t help differentiate them. The official website says: accord of apple, geranium oil, vanilla extract. Almost the usual. It doesn’t smell bad, but the need for your brand to always be trendy goes against creativity. Brands don’t copy each other anymore; it’s that within YSL itself, some L’Homme scents and especially the ‘Y’ share a lot with this one.
La Nuit de L’homme Eau Electrique is the latest of the multiple flankers in the L’homme saga by YSL. It’s a warm and pleasant fragrance with a sensual touch, though it feels very synthetic. However, it’s not annoying; in fact, I think it’s easy to like. It retains certain characteristics of the original La Nuit, has a fresher opening thanks to the fruity notes, and evolves into a floral and slightly spicy phase, but as it dries down, it becomes warm and oriental, with lots of vanilla and tonka bean. In fact, in its dry-down, it’s very similar to Versace Eros, to the point of seeming more like a flanker of the latter. Its performance is good; it lasts quite a bit on the skin, though I don’t find it that versatile. Its best setting is night outings, couples, conquest scenarios, or cool days. If you have Versace Eros, this would be a redundant purchase; I even like the Versace opening more, and it’s cheaper too, but if it’s better in performance than the original Nuit, then it’s worth it.
Awesome! An improved and fresher version of the already well-known Nuit de l’Homme… I must say I was surprised by its acidic freshness at the beginning, with citrus and green apple, and instantly the sage and lavender giving strength to the blend. At times it reminds me of the cardamom or tonka bean note from the original, but luckily it takes another direction: ‘electric,’ cold, and herbal. It’s rounded out by the sweetness of vanilla and the woody note (cashmere). It’s interesting, one of the best in the Homme line. It lasts quite a bit on the skin and projects well in the first few hours. A good option for night outings.
Luckily I was able to get it with an extra payment! What can I say about this fragrance? The opening notes remind me of CH Men, though I do notice the vanilla it contains. It lasts approximately 9 hours; the trail is strong/moderate starting from the second hour. Scent 9/10, trail 8/10, versatility 10/10. I should say it still doesn’t surpass the original Nuit without reformulation. The notes remind me of Nuit Intense but are less introverted and more serious. It has a magnetic touch that makes everyone ask what I’m wearing; endless compliments after just one day of using it, and 4 people asked me what I had on. It was an excellent purchase. Final rating: 9.5.
