Smells very generic and fades quickly; not worth paying that much for something so weak.
That typical trend of putting ‘Parfum’ on something that has the highest possible water concentration, leaving the notes practically imperceptible.
I won’t beat around the bush: excellent perfume but with poor longevity and projection. The price doesn’t match what this brand offers. Another example of how reformulations can ruin a great scent.
I won’t dedicate many lines to it; in summary: excellent perfume with scarce longevity and projection; high price that doesn’t match what you expect from this brand. Another excellent example of how to ‘kill’ a good perfume through reformulations.
Hi! I bought it cheap and absolutely love it. It’s not a beast in projection (maybe it shouldn’t be called Parfum), but it has an incredible ‘warm freshness.’ It starts citrusy and cool, moves into a spectacular sweet-and-sour cardamom (15 minutes of pure glory). The heart is floral with green basil and geranium, typical of the line. The woody and amber base reminds me of L’Homme Electrique—elegant and versatile. The blue gradient bottle with the screw-top cap is gorgeous. Perfect for transitional seasons.
How are you guys? I got it at a good price and I’m enjoying it. It’s true, it’s not a beast in projection/performance (it shouldn’t have been called Parfum), but it has a ‘warm freshness’ aroma that I love. It opens with a cold citrus effluvium that mutates into a magnificent sweet-and-sour cardamomo, making its opening 15 minutes of glory. The heart is aromatic and floral: the basil gives it a green push that contrasts with the geranium, a note that repeats in many flankers of the L’homme and Nuit lines. The final woods and sweet amber notes remind me of L’Homme Electrique, a fragrance that along with L’Homme Ultime was very interesting, although discontinued. I find it elegant but versatile, very pleasant with a delicate and delicious citrus-floral touch. The bottle is beautiful, a gradient blue color with its classic screw-top cap. For intermediate seasons.
I’ll be the odd one out, but this fragrance is great; I recommend it.
I thought it would last longer than the EDT… I think it’s even weaker. What a shame. Can’t they make an EDT with better fixation or projection? I thought this would be the case, but I should have bought a decant first; I would have wasted money. That said, it smells incredibly rich, just like the EDT, with some added notes that make it a bit heavier, I suppose it’s the amberwood that makes it feel a bit synthetic, just like in Bleu de Chanel EDP, but here it doesn’t feel as synthetic as in other fragrances where they use it. I suppose it’s well-balanced. Just like it doesn’t project or last. What a pity because I love this DNA. I’d put it in the top 5 of the best scents in the world.
A perfume disaster. It should be called cologne. I sprayed two sprays in the store and after half an hour it barely smells anything; the projection is scarce. You have to press your nose against your hand to notice anything, and the scent itself is a complete disappointment. I have a cheap equivalent version of the EDT that absolutely crushes this in every aspect.
It’s a disaster. It should be called cologne: I sprayed it twice and after half an hour, I can barely smell anything. The projection is non-existent; you have to press your nose to your hand to notice anything. The scent is disappointing. I have a cheap EDT version that absolutely crushes this in every single way.
Yes, it’s not a beast and the projection is normal, but this perfume makes you stand out. With that aromatic touch from the original and a modern twist, it fits anywhere. It smells elegant, distinguished, and classy, far from the masses. Perfect for dinners, dates, or even the office in autumn/winter. It’s curious to see so much criticism when people are paying 80 euros for the new Acqua di Gio Parfum, which smells average and doesn’t innovate. Listen to me: both this and the original are worth trying. Its sophistication won’t disappoint—you’ll smell like a unique gentleman.
Yes, it’s not a beast and its projection isn’t the best, but this perfume will set you apart from the crowd. With that aromatic touch of the original but a more modern twist, it fits perfectly for almost any occasion. It smells elegant, distinguished, and classy; modern but away from the masses. Use it for dinner with friends, a blind date, or even at the office in moderate or cold seasons. It’s curious to see so much criticism, even from people willing to spend 80 euros on the ‘new’ Acqua di Gio Parfum, a mass-produced scent with regular performance and no novelty. Take my word for it; both this one and the original are worth trying; their sophisticated aroma won’t disappoint. You’ll smell like a unique gentleman.
L’HOMME Le Parfum is, without a doubt, the best in the line: clean and sexy without trying. It’s already a staple in my collection; I’ll buy it again when I run out. It smells powerful and easy to like, filling the room at first, though its duration (7-9 hours) depends on the volatility of some notes, but it’s enough. A top-tier cardamom dominates, with a virile and sensual aura, mixed with ozonic and woody notes that add solidity. The dry down is dominated by cardamom and ozone with a soapy touch that leads into the woody base. I recommend it to guys aged 19 to 35 who want to stand out among sweet scents and project confidence, ‘Starboy’ style. Imagine a young man in a black sports car, party night, with a masculine aura and his own style, picking up his date to go to the club; his presence leaves a mark, but he’s only focused on her.
L’HOMME Le Parfum is, without a doubt, the best in the line. It conveys a clean and sexy feeling effortlessly. It’s already on my favorites list and I’ll buy it again when I run out. It smells powerful and is easy to like; it projects a lot and fills the room at first. Longevity is 7 to 9 hours, which is more than enough. One of the best cardamoms on the market dominates, giving it that sensual virile aura, mixed with ozonic notes and woody chords that add solidity. At first, the cardamomo and ozonic notes dominate the opening, backed by a soapy touch that gradually fades into the woody base. I recommend it to young men aged 19 to 35 who want to stand out and differentiate themselves from current sweet aromas, conveying attraction and confidence, ‘Starboy’ style. Imagine a young man in a dark sports car on a party night, enjoying his charm and masculinity, ready to pick up his girlfriend and make an impression at the club, not caring about anything else because he’s with the only one who matters.
I bought it blind and it smells like Invictus, but with less strength and longevity. I don’t think it adds anything new to my collection, so I won’t be buying it again. I don’t trust the reviews for this one. It does smell very good, but there are hundreds of perfumes just like it.
A bit generic and overpriced for what it delivers. Smells like cardamomo with a very 90s wood base. The violet is rich and comes out as it dries, lasting quite a while. The wood base suits it well too. I see it more as a daytime scent than for night; versatile but somewhat formal. It smells good, but I feel it’s missing something, especially considering it carries the ‘Parfum’ name and the performance is just average.
