  You have to give credit to this French house for striving to create untried and quite original scents. While the fragrances are certainly of high quality, their performance is very inconsistent and varies depending on the choice. This Dark Star on my skin starts predominantly aquatic-spicy, then the woody notes emerge, and it finishes very lightly smoky-sweet. I detect a faint pencil graphite note in the background. One might think that with ambroxan and that combination, it would be a bomb in terms of longevity and projection, but unfortunately, it isn’t. It fades to skin level almost immediately, and its longevity doesn’t exceed 6 hours, with the last two hours being barely perceptible (body heat helps a little, but nothing remarkable). What a pity, because it’s a scent I really like—mysterious, versatile, and original. And at a price of 120 euros/100ml, that becomes an insurmountable hurdle. Au revoir!
