Descripción
Les Jeux sont Faits by Jovoy Paris is an aromatic woody fragrance for men. Launched in 2012, this composition was created by perfumer Amelie Bourgeois. The olfactory pyramid unfolds with top notes of angelica, dried fruits, and petit grain; a complex heart of tobacco leaf, rum, cumin, and gin; and a warm, persistent base of labdanum, patchouli, sandalwood, and vanilla.

It starts strong with cumin and an alcoholic, herbal base. You can notice the nuts, like raisins. Then it sweetens, turning vanilla-like with dry tobacco and becoming creamy. The cumin calms down gradually as sandalwood and labdanum enter, giving it an attar-like, resinous touch. Everything is well-mixed with vanilla. It lasts quite a while and is noticeable for hours. Although it seems like a winter scent, it works better for me in the heat. It gains with every use and becomes addictive. Very masculine due to the tobacco and spices, though the vanilla gives it a unisex touch. A great fragrance by Jovoy, highly recommended.
Good scent but the potency is short-lived. What stands out most is the sweet rum, followed by cumin and angelica with a green touch. It lasts longer at first due to the cumin and softens afterward. It’s quality but lacks presence for its price.
Nice fragrance: rum and tobacco over patchouli. It’s sweet but not cloying, ambered, and balanced. The tobacco smells rich, though subtle. I’m not convinced by the projection since it clings to the skin immediately. Rating: 7.5.
It smells straight up like a carajillo dregs.
I was ready to buy it since I already own Incident and Psychedelique. The aroma is magnificent: rum, tobacco, and gin combine perfectly in the bottle, but on my skin it lasts three minutes and vanishes. For those who can make it last, enjoy this gem.
Exquisite perfume that transports you to an old-time gentlemen’s club, with leather Chesterfield sofas, mahogany furniture, and an atmosphere of various distillates and cigars. It oozes class and masculinity.
It’s a trip to an old-school gentlemen’s club: leather armchairs, mahogany, and the scent of spirits and cigars. It oozes class and pure masculinity.
I got hit in the face when I smelled it: smells like a pipe, tobacco, and alcohol—a rough, dirty scent of an English gentleman smoking in his study. Top quality and longevity, but it’s just not my style.
