Paradis Lointains is a pretty linear scent that’s hard to break down note by note; I can’t pick out the ylang-ylang or clove separately. When I tested it on blotting paper, my first thought was Chilean mint Tic Tacs, and on closer inspection, it smells like toothpaste. I laughed because even though it sounds like floral gum, it’s a scent I absolutely love and it brings me an incredible sense of peace—something I never thought a perfume could do. Now I get why it doesn’t work for everyone. It’s sweet, calming white flowers, perfect for wearing while working remotely; it’s not overwhelming at all. It’s like a self-love hug with a sensual touch that puts me in a great mood. I like it!
