  It’s a raw, unrefined leather, like Falcon Leather but stripped down to the basics. While the original is elegant and quiet, this Leather Attraction screams for attention with a street-tough character. Unrefined petroleum mixed with ambroxan, herbal and camphoraceous notes; the oud sharpens everything and lingers at the base. Patchouli and musk soften the tone at the end, once that petroleum scent fades. Except for that refined finish, I don’t think everyone will like it—only those who love powerful leathers without subtlety. The ingredients are high quality and it evolves slowly. I love the dry down, but the main aroma is hit-or-miss. Plus, as an extrait, it lasts hours with projection so strong it becomes overwhelming; it sticks to paper for a week and clothes for even longer. I don’t think it works well in warm weather, and since it’s a matter of personal taste, it’s not versatile (the original wins hands down). That’s why you should test it before buying. Glad I did.
